April New Product Tour Day 1

Welcome to Day 1 of this month's My Favorite Things New Product Tour posts, and if you haven't noticed we have changed the way we are doing things! Be sure to head to the MFT blog for all the important info you will need to participate in this month's release, and to find out how and what you can win....trust me, it's worth the trip!!

The new release products will be available at My Favorite Things on April 9th at 10 PM EST!!!

As with every New Product Tour, we are all focusing primarily on one set, and I am using the new Document It-Hello My Name Is set. I decided to make two different projects using this SUPER fun set, the first of which is a scrapbook page of my SUPER cute nephew, Mark. My page measures 6x6, and has a Black Licorice, Orange Fizz, Factory Green, and Smooth White base. I wanted a chance to show off the AWESOME new Orange Fizz and Factory Green inks that are being released this week! I am in LOVE with Factory Green...just sayin'.

I stamped the main image from Hello My Name Is on Smooth White with Black Licorice, and added my sentiment and stars with Orange Fizz and Factory Green. I used my three cardstock colors, and the Stacking Star Die-namics to create my star embellishments.

I then used the SUPER adorable new Bottom Line Alphabet Die-namics to  cut out Mark's name....LOVE the new alphabet. LOVE it! It was cut out using Factory Green and Orange Fizz cardstock.

My second project is a card I made using the Hello My Name Is set. I made it for a friend's wedding, and I LOVE it! I used Black Licorice, Electric Red, Pink Lemonade, and Smooth White cardstock along with Echo Park Love Story paper.

My image was stamped with Black Licorice ink, and I added the Happy with Electric Red. I used the new Border It-Mod Borders as an accent in Pink Lemonade. Black Licorice Grosgrain, Michael's brads, and Some hearts from the Hearts a Plenty Die-namics. They were cut out of Electric Red and Pink Lemonade cardstock.

I used the Open Simply Scallop Trio Die-namics to accent my paper, and added the LOVE on top of it with the Bottom Line Alphabet Die-namics.

For the inside, I used a sentiment from the Clearly Sentimental about Love set, and more of the Hearts a Plenty Die-namics hearts. My border is from the Open Simply Scallop  Trio Die-namics.

That is it for me for now, and you should DEFINITELY head on over to the MFT blog for all the details you need to know about this release. Trust me...you need to know them!!
Again,  the new release products will be available at My Favorite Things on April 9th at 10 PM EST!!!

MFTeaser's Day Three!

We are on day three of this month's My Favorite Things teasers, and if you haven't noticed we have changed the way we are doing things! Be sure to head to the MFT blog for all the important info you will need to participate in this month's teasers, and to find out how and what you can win....trust me, it's worth the trip!!

The new release products will be available at My Favorite Things on April 9th at 10 PM EST!!!

For today, I have created several cards and treats using the super cute new Chocolate Sentiments set, and the new Scalloped Treat Box Die-namics. My sentiment on the first one was stamped with the new Hot Fudge Ink being released this month, onto Smooth White Cardstock. I then used the heart from the Notched Tag Die-namics for add a heart to my sentiment. It was then cut out using the Designer Label 4 Die-namics

Behind my sentiment, I added a flourish using the Sentimental Flourish Die-namics and Wild Cherry cardstock. My paper panel behind that is Hot Fudge cardstock cut out with the Rounded Banner Stax Die-namics. The other cardstock color I used is Cotton Candy.

To embellish, I added some Sweet Tooth Grosgrain, a heart from the Rustic Hearts Die-namics cut out of Wild Cherry cardstock, brads, and a Cotton Candy button with Hemp Cord going through it. I did also use the Hearts and Stitches stamp set in Wild Cherry to add some hearts to the base.

For my next project, I used the SUPER cute Scalloped Treat Box Die-namics. My boxes(you cut two pieces of the Scalloped Treat Box Die-namics and glue them together) were cut out of Cotton Candy cardstock.

First, I wrapped some Sweet Tooth Grosgrain around the treat box I created,  then used the Sentimental Flourish Die-namics in Hot Fudge cardstock to accent it. I added my sentiment from the Chocolate Sentiments set in Hot Fudge Ink onto a tag cut from the Traditional Tags Stax Die-namics. I then stamped a heart from that set over it with Pink Lemonade ink.

To finish, I added some Hemp Cord to the tag, and added a Rustic Hearts Die-namics heart in Wild Cherry with a Cotton Candy button to embellish it. My boxes are filled with Dove chocolates(bad idea because I want to eat them all), and some folded up Hot Fudge cardstock

For my next card, I used the Chocolate Sentiments again, which I stamped with Black Licorice Ink onto Smooth White Cardstock. It was then cut out with the Designer Label 2 Die-namics. I added some Michael's brads to it to accent it. My other cardstock colors are Black Licorice, Pink Lemonade, and Wild Cherry. I used the new Open Simply Scallops Trio Die-namics in Black Licorice to accent my base, which I also used Echo Park paper on.

My embellishments, beyond the Michael's brads, are hearts from the Rustic Hearts Die-namics, Pink Lemonade Buttons, and Black Licorice Grosgrain.

My next project is a box I made using the Scalloped Treat Box Die-namics again, along with the Chocolate Sentiments set. I the sentiment and it's layers out with my Circle Stax 1 and 2 Die-namics, and use Wild Cherry and Black Licorice paper. I  used the Open Simply Scallops Trio Die-namics for my border, and some more of my Echo Park paper. I tied the top closed with Wild cherry Grosgrain, and added a Rustic Hearts Die-namics and another Pink Lemonade button.

My final project is a candy bar treat holder. These are so much fun to make, because you use the ribbon to pull the candy out. I used the same supplies I used on the last two projects, but I cut my sentiment out with the First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics, and my border was made with the Scalloped Ribbon Die-namics.

Now, I am done, and you should DEFINITELY head on over to the MFT blog for all the details you need to know about Teaser Time. Trust me...you need to know them!!
Again,  the new release products will be available at My Favorite Things on April 9th at 10 PM EST!!!

MFTWSC118- Hi, Friend

Hey everyone, and happy Wednesday!! That means it is time for another Wednesday Stamp Club challenge from My Favorite Things! It's MY favorite sketch challenge!

For my card today, I used the Inspired by the Front Porch-Spring set. I keep hoping Spring will show up, and while it's getting closer to Spring, it's still not quite Spring here...it's sort of getting depressing!!! Anyway, I stamped my tulips on X-Press It blending card, and then colored them with my Copics. I used the Circle Stax Die-namics to cut it, and my paper panels out. My paper is from the MME Dilly Dally paper pad. The border I used is the Open Scalloped Border Die-namics. I used the Sentiment Strips Die-namics for my sentiment, and embellished it and the rest of the card with Michael's brads. My ribbon is Wild Cherry grosgrain, and I also used a spiral clip. The cardstock I used is Smooth White, Wild Cherry, and Natural all from MFT.

For the inside, I used more of the same supplies.

Here are the Die-namics I have used:

Well, that is it for me for now! Be sure to check out the MFT blog for a full list of designers participating in today's sketch!
