MFTWSC80 You're Cute

Hey everyone, and happy Wednesday!! That means it is time for another Wednesday Stamp Club challenge from My Favorite Things! It's MY favorite sketch challenge!!

For my card tonight, I used the ADORABLE new Pure Innocence Shutter Bug set. I stamped her on X-Press It Blending Card, and then colored her with my Copics. Her dress was paper pieced with some of the MME Fiddlesticks paper pad. I paired it with Kraft, Sweet Tooth, Almost Amethyst(SU), and Sage Shadow card stock. The embellishments I used are Kraft ribbon and buttons from MFT, Natural Jute Twine from the Ribbon Carousel, Michael's brads, and a Creative Express spiral clip. My scallops are from the Simply Scalloped Medium Die-namics, and I used the Sentiment Strips Die-namics for my sentiment.

For the inside, I used more of the same supplies.

Here are the Die-namics I used:

We encourage you all to play along, and to enter your card in the weekly draw for a $15 gift voucher to the MFT Boutique. Simply follow the sketch and create a card or other paper creation. You may use any stamps and supplies that you wish. Each week, a keyword is assigned to the sketch. All you need to do to enter, is upload your card to the gallery at SCS, and enter the given keyword in the keyword box, during the upload process. After the deadline, we randomly choose a winner from that week's entries and the winner will receive a $15 gift voucher. If the winning card uses MFT stamps, the participant will earn a $5 bonus, for a total of a $20 gift voucher! That is up to $100 per month in prizes, JUST for playing along. We hope you'll join us in 2012.

Check out the FAQ - Wednesday Stamp Club thread if you need any further info on this challenge or help on how to upload your card to the gallery.  Upload your creation to SCS using keyword MFTWSC80 for a chance to win this week prize (see above). You have until noon Tuesday, July 17th  to play along.

July Kraftin' Kimmie Release-Day One!!

I was SUPER thrilled when Kim asked me to be one of this month's Guest Designers with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps, again!! Not only do I LOVE their stamps, I get to participate in this month's peeks-AWESOME!!

Tonight, we are showing of the new Birthday Trinkets set!

I stamped my trinket on X-Press It Blending card with Memento Rich Cocoa ink, and then colored parts of ti with my Copics. I then cut it out with my Circle Stax Die-namics, and layered it with a Mini Doily Die-namics cut out from Hot Fudge card stock. I then covered it with Diamond Glaze to make it sorta shiny! My paper pad is the Lime Twist Life of the Party, which I used with the Star Stax Die-namics. To finish my card, I used the Fancy Flourish Die-namics in Juicy Pear and Candy Hearts from Bazzill. My ribbon is Walnut Seam Binding from the Ribbon Carousel, and I added brads to finish.

Well, that is it for me for now!! Be sure to head on over to the Kraftin' Kimmie Blog for a full list of Krafty Girls showing peeks today, and be DOUBLY sure to comment on ALL the blog posts for you chance to win this ADORABLE set!!!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

TSG164-Feel Better Soon

This week's There She Goes challenge is being hosted by our Trendsetter of the Week, Wendy!! She has challenged us to make a card or project using faux or real stitching/sewing. I tried, I swear I did, to sew around the edges of my paper, but I am DEFINITELY going to need more practice with it, lol!

Instead of doing actual stitching, I used the There She Goes set, Stitches. I paired it with the new Get Well Wishes set. The paper I used is from the MME Out of the Blue paper pad. It was co-ordinated with Sour Apple, Orange Fizz, Sweet Tooth, and Black Licorice card stock from MFT. I also used the MFT Sentiment Strips Die-namics for my saying, and Black Licorice Grosgrain. The only other supplies I used are Creative Express spiral clips, and silver brads from Michael's.

Well, that is it for me for now! Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day!
