There She Goes-It's Release Time!!!

Hey everyone, and welcome to this month's new release blog hop challenges from There She Goes!! This month, we are having three blog hop challenges, but releasing 4 new sets!! Tonight's hop started at the There She Goes blog...if you are here now, you should have come from Jessica's blog!! And speaking of Jessica, the awesome owner of this FABULOUS company, here is some info about the new sets, in her own words, and how to enter the challenge!!

“One of my favorite things about the holidays is creating handmade projects for those that I love. But one thing to remember is that the packaging is just as important as the gift itself! Torico has done a beautiful job illustrating this tag set that can not only be used for the holidays but is versatile enough to use all year long!”

Just For You is a 4x6 stamp set that includes a total of 15 stamps and will sell for $15.

“I am so excited to share this stamp set with you today! When Torico first showed me her ideas for this set, I was instantly smitten. The three little girls that are included in this set are absolutely adorable and you are going to love coloring in the accessory images that are included!! “

Wrapped In Joy is a 4x6 stamp set that includes a total of 16 stamps and will sell for $15.

Would you like a chance to win the Just For You/Wrapped In Joy stamp sets? Here’s what you need to do- go to each of the Trendsetter’s Blogs and leave a comment on their Just For You/Wrapped In Joy Blog Hop Challenge post. After you have finished checking out the eye candy and have left some love, return to the TSG Blog and add your name to the Mr. Linky at the bottom of this Blog Hop Challenge post. A winner will be chosen randomly using a random number generator to receive their very own Just For You/Wrapped In Joy stamp sets. The winner will be announced Saturday (Nov. 27 ) during the Release Party Chat.

For my card tonight, I started by stamping my little girl on an MFT Perfect Panel. I then colored her in with my Copics, and paper pieced her balloons using some YUMMY Pasta Fagioli paper from Jillibean soup. I then cut her out using my Cuttlebug and Oval Nesties, layered her with Crushed Curry, Bashful Blue, and Sour Apple card stock, and then pierced a border around her. I get asked a TON about my piercing, so I thought I would throw this out there for all those inquiring minds...for my circles and my ovals, I use a Cuttlebug and Nestabilities to cut them out. What's awesome about this is the fact that it leaves a neat little embossed line around the inside of the oval or circle. For my piercing, I don't use a template, I just follow or go directly on that embossed line. It takes a little practice, but I KNOW you can do it!! For all other shapes...I use the SU Mat Pack. Mine is SUPER wore out, but I am still muddling through!! Ok, back to the card!! I used Taylor's sketch from Friday, and some SU ribbons. My spiral clip is from Creative Express, and I got my brads at Michael's.

Well, that is it for me for now!! The next stop on the hop is Jodi...aka. SUPER MOM!!! Thanks for stopping by, and don't forget to leave some LOVE!!

TSG81 Dashing Through the Snowwwww....

This week has been a HECTIC one, to say the least! My boyfriend's grandma passed away this week, and I have been nursing a pretty severe cold/sore throat. To say that I have burned my candle at both ends, would be an understatement. I decided, while he was out having some MUCH needed bonding time with family from all across the globe, that I would stamp a little, and TRY to catch up my Google reader....HA!!!

I hadn't had a chance to play with this week's There She Goes challenge, and since it was a sketch...I had to "jump in it".....have you seen that commercial?for DirecTV? kinda annoying, but catchy....anywho. I stamped my cutie pie dogie from the Snowy Days set on an MFT Perfect Panel, and then colored him with my Copics. I then layered him with Wild Wasabi and Pacific Point cardstock. My DP is from DCWV from a few years ago, and the Wasabi panel on top of it was run through my Cuttlebug with my snowflakes folder. I used some MFT mini brads, brads from Michael's, SU ribbons and punches, and Creative Express spiral clips.
Well, that is it for me for now!! Be sure to check out the TSG blog to see the other designer's who have participated this week!! Have fun and have a great day!!

On a side note, be sure to hug the one's you love if you can, and if you can't VERBALLY hug them. You never know when the last time you will see them will be.
