TSG109- Heart Spin

Hey everyone, hope you all had a great weekend! It is time for another There She Goes challenge, and this week we have a fun color challenge for you to create with! The colors are Ivory, Red and Teal but feel free to add other neutral colors as you see fit (kraft, white, black, etc.). Have fun, we can’t wait to see what you create!!

To be eligible for the giveaway, you are to create a card that utilizes kraft cardstock, and then come back to the TSG Blog to add your name and a link to your project in the InLinkz that is located at the bottom of this challenge post. This challenge is open until the winner has been announced on the following Monday. The winner will get a $5 gift certificate to use in the TSG Web store!

By participating in this challenge, you may also find yourself in the Trendsetting Spotlight that shines on the TSG Blog every Thursday. We will be on the look out to find challenge cards that stand out and show Trendsetting qualities. TSG stamps are not required to participate in the challenges but are appreciated :)

You do not need to have a blog to be able to participate in the TSG Challenges! You can simply add the URL link from your project after it has been uploaded to your online craft gallery. If you upload your card to an online craft gallery, please use the keyword TSG109 so we can check out your beautiful work!

For my card tonight, I used the new Freeze The Moment set that was released Saturday. SO CUTE!!! I stamped my girl, and her pinwheel on an X-Press It Blending Card, and then colored it with my Copics. She was then layered with Red Hot(MFT) and Taken With Teal. I used SU ribbons, and some Maraschino Twine. My spiral clip is from Creative Express, and my brads are from Michael's.
Well, that is it for me for now! Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day! Be sure to pop on by the TSG blog to see what my other teammates have created!

Crazy 4 Challenges-Vacation!

Hey everyone, and welcome to this week's Crazy 4 Challenges challenge! Now that the weather is sunny and clear (hopefully), we often start planning vacations. Create a card showing a favorite vacation spot or activity. If you decide to play along with us, all you have to do is create a card/project, and upload it to your blog and/or to your SCS Gallery using the keyword C4C89. Don't forget to come back here and link it on Mr Linky so that everyone else can see it too.

I am SUPER happy with this card...I can't even tell you. It isn't just the card, though, it's the memories that I attach to it. Now, I have had a couple of ridiculously funny camping/canoeing trips, but I also think trips to Disney, Girl Scout camp, all sorts of stuff. Me+boat=some one's going to pee themselves with laughter. My favorite story involves my now ex-husband, but it's too funny not to laugh at now...especially since he got a "little" hurt by it. hehe. We were canoeing in Missouri at Current River, and we were arguing...something we did VERY well. He couldn't steer, and I wasn't much help, either. We are starting to get near the trees, I am yelling at him, and there it is....a terribly low branch. My sister and brother in law saw it better, but I saw the branch coming, and without a word, laid back flat in the boat so it would go over me....but it WHACKED him right in the face. I almost fell out of the canoe I was laughing so hard. I know it's mean, but hey, it was HYSTERICAL.
My image is the Flappers Doodles-SS Flapper. I stamped it on X-Press It blending card, and then colored it with my Copics. I layered it with Grape Jelly, Sour Apple, and Fossil card stock. My paper is from the Lilybee Designs Happily Lost pad. I used Michael's brads, a Creative Express spiral clip, and some Honeydew and Lilac twine. For my border, I used the Catch A Wave Die-namic, and my sentiment is the Sweet Stack Die-namic.

For the inside, I used more of the same supplies.

Well, that is it for me for now! Thanks for stopping by, and be sure to check out my other Crazies!!

FSF23- Let's Hang

First of all, I want to start out by apologizing if you are having any problems with my blog...whether it be viewing or commenting. Blogger is apparently having issues AGAIN, and I am one of the lucky ones that has been affected. I had to switch back to Internet Explorer just to get this posted!!
Since it is Friday, it is time for Forgotten Stamp Friday. If you aren't familiar with this challenge, it is a personal challenge that I have posed to myself to make me use some of my uninked, unused, and neglected stamps. The only rule is that it has to have been uninked or owned for 6 months. Digi images count, as well...we tend to collect those, and then never use them, too! If you decide to play along, just be sure to enter your name in the Mr. Linky, and when uploading to an online gallery, use the keyword...FSF23.

For my card today, I used a previously released Digital(and now part of the Creeper Kit) stamp, Jack. He is from The Greeting Farm, and you just HAVE to love him. I was in LOVE with the color combo and paper from my previous day's card, so I couldn't resist using him for Jack, too. He was printed on an X-Press It Blending card, and then colored with my Copics. I used more of the MME Lime Twist Out of the Blue paper. It was paired with Basic Grey, Night of Navy, and Crushed Curry. I used MFT ribbon, spiral clip from Creative Express, and Michael's brads.
Well, that is it for me for now! Thanks for stopping by, and I can't wait to see if you play along!

RCC4-Inspirational Ribbon Cupcakes

Hey everyone, and welcome to this week's Ribbon Carousel Crew Challenge!!! I am LOVING this week's challenge, so much so, I made two cards for it!! You can see the other one in my post above this one! Ready to start? Here ya go!!

I love cupcakes... but ribbon cupcakes? Why not? As soon as we saw this pic on Pinterest, it just had to be an inspiration for one of our challenges.

Those juicy intense colors scream Spring! We've added LOTS of ribbon, seam binding and twine over on the RibbonCarousel.com store.

This week we have a sponsor: Our very own Sparkle Smith, owner of Sparkle Creations is offering one lucky participant, to be chosen by Random.org, Cupcake Ruby!

For my card tonight, I started by using the gorgeous Wild Sprout-Elena from The Greeting Farm. I stamped her on an X-Press it Blending card, and then colored her with my Copics. She was layered with Blue Raspberry, Lemon Drop, and Rose Red card stock. I then used some Happily Lost paper from Lilybee Designs. My hearts were cut out using the MFT Hearts a Plenty Die-namics, and I used some YUMMY Divine Twine with my button. I had to use some more of that YUMMY ruffled ribbon...I just love it!
Well, that is it for me for now! Thanks for stopping by, and I can't wait to see what you create for this challenge!!

Happy Birthday Jessica!!

Today we are having a SUPER SPECIAL birthday blog hop for my friend, and the FABULOUS owner of There She Goes clear stamps, Jessica Knutsen!!! It's a Forgotten Stamp Birthday Hop!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BAR!!!!

Today we are celebrating my friend, and fellow MFT teammate, Barbara Anders' birthday, and what better way to celebrate than with a blog HOP!! The hop started at our ring leader's, Tammy Hershberger, blog. If you didn't start there, better head back to the start!! There are a TON of talented ladies along the way, so if you are here now, you should have come from Julie Koerber's blog.

Since it is Friday, it is ALSO Forgotten Stamp Friday time, so I kinda threw them together! Not familiar with this challenge...well, you should be!! Every week, I challenge myself, and all of you, to make a card using your poor, lonely, dusty, unused, forgotten stamps. I feel guilty with the sheer VOLUME of stamps that I own in comparison to what I ACTUALLY use, so this challenge is one that helps me to ease my guilt a little. There are NO rules, just that you
a)PLAY ALONG
b) use a stamp that is either unused or owned and un-inked for 6 months
c) come back and add yourself to the linky thingy so I can see what you've done
d) be sure if you upload to SCS, that you use the keyword FSF22...that way I can find you!!

For my card tonight, I used the SUPER CUTE Pure Innocence- My Balloon. I stamped her on a piece of X-Press It Blending Card. I then colored her with my Copics, and layered her with Orange Fizz, Baja Breeze, and Hot Fudge. I used the MME Stella and Rose Hattie collection. Both my ribbons are from MFT, and my brads are from Michael's. I used the AWESOME Stacked Open Scallop Die-namics, as well. My sentiment is from the Clearly Sentimental About Birthdays set.

Well, that is it for me for now! Thanks for stopping by, and have a great time on the hop!!! Next stop on the birthday train: Frances' Blog! YAAAY!!
