MFTWSC96-Coffee Lover

Hey everyone, and happy Wednesday!! That means it is time for another Wednesday Stamp Club challenge from My Favorite Things! It's MY favorite sketch challenge!

For my card today, I used the Clearly Sentimental about Coffee set. I paired it with Fossil, Black Licorice and Gold Coin(Bazzill) card stock. My ribbon is Kraft from MFT. My papers are from the MME Sunshine paper pad, and I used it to cut out my background pieces, as well as, all my rolled roses made with the Mini Rolled Rose Duo Die-namics. For my sentiment, I stamped it on Sweet Tooth cardstock, then cut it out with the Designers Label 2 Stax Die-namics. The other Die-namics I used were the Rounded Banner Trio Die-namics for my half circle at the top, the Simply Scalloped Medium Die-namics for my scallops, and the Fishtail Banner Die-namics for my banner.

Here are the Die-namics I have used:

October Creative Challenge-Banners

Hey everyone!! It's time for the My Favorite Things Creative Challenge. The MFT Design Team Creative Challenge is a monthly feature, where we are challenged to explore our creative side using a specific theme, product, or technique. This month, we were challenged to create a custom banner using our assortment of STAX Banner Die-namics.  Be sure to check out the MFT Blog for a list of all participating designers who have a project to share with you today.

For my banner, I decided to go with a winter theme, so SNOW it is!!

I started by cutting my flags from the Jumbo Fishtail Banner Die-namics out of Fossil cardstock. My paper for the layer on the flags is from the MME Be Merry paper pad.

Next, I used the 3/8ths Rosette Die-namics and my other cardstock colors: Wild Cherry, Pink Lemonade, Berrylicious, and Jellybean Green. I cut the die cut pieces in half to create my rosettes. Then I added a button in either Wild Cherry, Berrylicious, Pink Lemonade, and Jellybean Green, with hemp cord tied in them.

Underneath my rosettes, I used the Fancy Flourish Die-namics in my cardstock colors, and added brads to the corners. My letters were cut out with the High-rise Alphabet Uppercase Die-namics in Sweet Tooth.  I also used the Let It Snowflake Die-namics to add some snowflakes in all my cardstock colors as well.

On each end of the banner, I used two different Pure Innocence sets: Frosty and Fabulous, and Holiday Hugs Snowman. They were both stamped on X-Press It blending card, and then colored with my Copics. To finish, I threaded a piec of Hemp Cord through the tops of all the panels, and tied double bows on each end.

Here are the Die-namics I used:

Well that is it for me for now! Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day!! Be sure to check out the My Favorite Things blog to see a full list of designers participating in today's challenge!

Pumpkin Spice Inspiration

It's time for another There She Goes challenge  and this week our challenge is brought to us by our Trendsetter of the week, Kelly!  She has challenged us to make a card or project inspired by the colors of her favorite drink: Pumpkin Spice Coffee!

For my card, I used the Pumpkins on the Vine set, paired with a sentiment from the Bountiful Blessings set. I paired it with some Lilybee Designs Autumn Spice paper, and used Banana Split(Bazzill), Orange Fizz(MFT), and Hot Fudge cardstock(MFT). To embellish, I used Hot Fudge Grosgrain, and Hemp Cord, as well as Michael's brads. For my sentiment, I used the Sentiment Strips Die-namics.

To be eligible for the giveaway, create a card or project using the inspiration color challenge, and then come back to the TSG Blog to add your name and a link to your project in the InLinkz that is located at the bottom of this challenge post. This challenge is open until the winner has been announced on the following Monday (November 5th). The winner will get a $5 gift certificate to use in the TSG Web store!

By participating in this challenge, you may also find yourself in the Trendsetting Spotlight that shines on the TSG Blog every Thursday. We will be on the lookout to find challenge cards that stand out and show Trendsetting qualities. TSG stamps are not required to participate in the challenges but are appreciated :)

You do not need to have a blog to be able to participate in the TSG Challenges! You can simply add the URL link from your project after it has been uploaded to your online craft gallery. If you upload your card to an online craft gallery, please use the keyword TSG179 so we can check out your beautiful work!

Well, that is it for me for now! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Trick Or Treat....

I made this treat holder a few weeks ago for one of the Crazy 4 Challenges, challenges, and I forgot I hadn't posted it. I love making treat holders for Halloween..definitely gives your trick or treaters a special treat.

I used the new Just For You Halloween Additions stamp set to create my tag. It has FABULOUS dies that match it, and make using it SO much fun. I colored my images with Copics, and then layered them all together with dimensionals. My sour cream packet was made using some old SU Halloween DP. I tied it all together using some Charcoal twine, and that was it.

Well, that is it for me for now! Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day!

KKS152-A Few of My Favorite Things...

Welcome back for another awesome challenge here at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!!! We are LOVING your submissions!!! It's awesome to see so many of you creating with KKS!!! Keep them coming!

This week our hostess is ELAINE!! And her challenge is All About MUSIC!! So you'll need to create something with a muscial feel! You can use a stamp that reminds you of a song, you can use musical patterned paper or dies, you can use a sentiment that's the title of a song!! Get kreative!! Have some krafty fun and join us this week because we'd LOVE to see your KKS designs. We hope you can play along!!!

I think what SONG I was inspired by is pretty self explanatory, but from the MOMENT I saw what today's challenge was, I wanted to ink up my Madeline stamp set. It's perfect for a music challenge, right down to the saying! I stamped her on X-Press It Blending card, and then colored her with my Copics. She was layered with Kraft cardstock, and then added to my card base. It was made from Fossil, Wild Cherry, Mellow Moss, Sweet Tooth, and some MME The Merry Days of Christmas pad. To embellish my card, I used the MFT Let It Snowflake Die-namics, and the Fancy Flourish Die-namics. Shockingly, the only other embellishment I used were Michael's brads. My sketch is this week's I Spy Sketch Challenge.

Don't forget that our NEW October release stamps are NOW available along with the Gimme Kimmies Kits but only for a limited time!!! Scoop some up now!! AND this week's Frugal Friday Specials are some of our favourite Halloweenie themed stamps, so grab them today!!

And one last thing!!! If you're starting your Christmas shopping early, one of our amazing artists, Annie Rodrigue, is having a little sale in her Etsy shop!!! Use the code KRAFTYCOUPON now, to receive 15% off her prints, keychains, magnets, bookmarks AND she even has some original paintings in there!!! Buy for yourself or for a krafty friend!!

Now let's get on with the party! Check out the wonderful creations by our Krafty Girls!! If you join us for this week's challenge, you could WIN the gorgeous stamp of Aurelia Angel, as featured on Elaine's beautiful card!

Happy kraftin'!!

C4C160-You A-Maze Me

This is my final challenge as hostess this month for the Crazy 4 Challenges blog, and I couldn't help but leave you with a sketch challenge...you KNOW how much I love them!!

For my card, I used the new Pure Innocence Corn Maze Girl, and stamped her on X-Press It blending card. I then colored her with my Copics, and paper pieced her coat with some Lilybee Designs Autumn Spice paper. She was cut out with my Oval Stax Die-namics, and then layered with the Oval Open Scalloped Doily Die-namics in Hot Fudge cardstock. The base of my card, I used Hot Fudge, Cranberry Crisp, More Mustard, and Sweet Tooth cardstock. I used the Woodgrain Fence Die-namics for my fence, and some Mellow Moss cardstock, and the Fresh Cut Grass Die-namics for my grass. To finish, I embellished my card with Hemp Cord, a creative express spiral clip(I attached my sentiment to it using the Sentiment Strips Die-namics to cut it out), Kraft and Hot Fudge buttons, and some Michael's brads.

For the inside, I used more of the same supplies. :)

Here are the Die-namics I have used:

Well, that is it for me for now!! Thanks for stopping by, and be sure to head on over to the Crazy 4 Challenges blog to check out what my teammates have created.

The Stampcave

Back in August, I made this altered clipboard for the There She Goes Anything But a Card Friday post, but I have never put it on my blog. Since my insomnia is running pretty strong right now, and I am unable to sleep enough to make my brain work properly(or at least it FEELS that way, lol), I decided to go ahead and post it today. :)

For my Anything But a Card Friday post, I altered a small clipboard that I purchased at Office Depot. I covered the base with paper from the MME Union Square paper pad. I used Scor Tape to adhere it, and then sanded the edges. My ribbon is Black Licorice Grosgrain from MFT. For my saying, which is what I call my stamp room(it's in the basement, although, if we are friends on Facebook, you know that I now call it the spidercave...ewwww), was made using American Crafts Thickers. I stamped my image and sentiment from the Every Child set on X-Press It blending card, and then colored it with my Copics. I layered her with Black Licorice cardstock, and added some brads, and a spiral clip with Sweet Tooth and Wild Cherry ribbon on it.

Well, that is it for me for now! Have a great day!

Hey everyone, and happy Wednesday!! That means it is time for another Wednesday Stamp Club challenge from My Favorite Things! It's MY favorite sketch challenge!

For my card today, I used the Inspired By Autumn set from the MFT Inspired By line. I stamped my pumpkin and saying on X-Press It Blending card, with Memento Rich Cocoa ink, and then colored it with my Copics. I used several items from the MFT store: Hot Fudge, Fossil, Orange Fizz, and Sweet Tooth cardstock, Kraft grosgrain, Hot Fudge, Orange Fizz and Kraft buttons, and hemp cord. My paper is from the Lilybee Designs Autumn Spice pad.

For the inside, I used more of the same supplies.

Here is the Die-namic I have used:

As always, this week's challenge is a sketch(we always have them the Monday of release week, don't ya know!), and I have paired it with the sets I mentioned above.
