One of my FAVORITE people is celebrating a birthday soon, and what better way to CELEBRATE her then with a BIRTHDAY BLOG MOBBING!!

Kim’s, the MFT lady, birthday is the 5th, and the girls at MFT and I have decided to MOB her with as many cards as possible!! Today’s Mob started at Arlene's Blog, so head on back there to get started!!

Happy Birthday Kim, we LOVE YOU!! You are the kindest, most generous, and AMAZING person to work for and have as a friend. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for believing in me, and always being there for all of us! I am THRILLED to know you and to work for you, as well!

"If you'd like to join the celebration, we'd LOVE you to participate! You can add a card to the Splitcoast Galleries using the keyword "HBMFTLADY" or, if you're a Facebook lovin' girl you can add your project to the MFT Fan Facebook page! Not yet a fan of MFT on Facebook? You can "like" it here: http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/My-Favorite-Things-Just-Delightful-Clear-Stamps/364057405371 and add your post! Don't have time to stamp? Just stop by the MFT Facebook page and wish the MFT Lady a happy birthday. Let's MOB her on her special day!etrpbout

For Kim’s Birthday card, I decided to use the SUPER CUTE, Enjoy the Ride set. I stamped her on X-Press IT Blending Card, and then colored her with my Copics. I paper pieced her shirt with some Lilybee Designs Happily Lost paper, and then layered her with Cotton Candy, Rose Red, and Black Licorice. My other paper is from the This&That Lilybee Designs pack. My ribbons are both from SU, and I used the Double Scallop Border Die-namics, for my border. I used the Pretty Posies Die-namics to create my flowers. My brads are all from Michael’s, and my spiral clip is from Creative Express.

My paper is from the Lime Twist Out of the Blue pad. I used brads from Michael's, and Charcoal Twine from MFT. My stars were cut out with the Stacking Stars Die-namics. So, I have had a TON of stuff going on in my personal life right now....left my current job, moving to a new town with my AMAZING boyfriend(moving to his town, rather) starting tomorrow, and my new nephew!!

Meet Marcus Alexander Liam Draper, the newest member of my FABULOUS family. He was the biggest of my nephews weighing in at a WHOPPING 8lbs 9oz, 21in long. He was born on the 19th, and joins his SUPER CUTE and ADORABLE brothers, Jared(3), and Ian(11 1/2months). I know...my sister is nuts, but she makes CUTE babies!!
So, I will be back tomorrow, I hope, with something crafty......until then....baby!!!!

Forgotten Stamp Friday

Hey everyone!! Since it is Friday, it is time for Forgotten Stamp Friday. If you aren't familiar with this challenge, it is a personal challenge that I have posed to myself to make me use some of my uninked, unused, and neglected stamps. The only rule is that it has to have been uninked or owned for 6 months. Digi images count, as well...we tend to collect those, and then never use them, too! If you decide to play along, just be sure to enter your name in the Mr. Linky, and when uploading to an online gallery, use the keyword...FSF25.

For my card tonight, I started with one of the first Pure Innocence images that were ever released, Fairy Girl. I stamped her on an X-Press It Blending card. I then layered my image with Sour Apple, Barely Banana, and Pink Lemonade. My paper is from one of the MME Lime Twist collections. I used MFT ribbon, Blossom and Honeydew Twine, Michael's brads, and a Creative Express spiral clip. I also used the Open Bracket Border Die-namics. My sentiment was cut out using the First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics.

For the inside, I used more of the same paper and the border, and another saying from the set.

Well, that is it for me for now! Thanks for stopping by, and I can't wait to see if you play along!

For my main image, I used the new Pure Innocence-Wedding Flower Girl set. I paired her with a sentiment from the Pure Innocence- Ring Bearer set. I paired it all with So Saffron(SU), Spearmint, and Black Licorice card stock. I used SU ribbon, and Michael's brads. My flowers were created with the Pretty Posies Die-namics. I then used the First Place Ribbon Award Die-namics to cut out my sentiment from the Ring Bearer set.

Vroom/Hibiscus Blog Hop Challenge!!

It is night two of this month's There She Goes Blog Hop Challenges, and tonight we have two super cute sets to share with you!! Tonight's hop started at the There She Goes blog, so if you didn't start there, head on back there to get started. If you are here now, you should have come from Jessica's blog!!

This adorable car illustrated by Melyssa is great to make a fun, every day card for family and friends! The larger car featured in this mini set was sized so that it could also be used with Leah (who can be seen in the Freeze The Moment stamp set).

Vroom is a 3x4 set that includes a total of 6 stamps and will sell for $7.

For my first card, I started with the smaller card from the set, which was colored on an X-Press it Blending Card. I then layered it with Orange Fizz and Hot Fudge. I felt a little retro with this super cute little car...so it just worked for me! I used some MME Lime Twist paper, Cappuccino Twine, and Michael's brads. My sketch is this week's Sweet Stop Sketch.

These gorgeous tropical flowers were illustrated by Torico and will quickly become a favorite from your summer stamping collection! Use them to create beautiful custom designer paper, color in the line art images to use as a focal point for your project or pair them with a TSG sentiment stamp set for a card that can be given for any occasion.

Hibiscus is a 3x4 set that includes a total of 7 stamps and will sell for $7.

For my second card tonight, I colored my Hibiscus on an X-Press It Blending card, and then layered it with Jelly Bean Green and Red Hot. My paper is from two different paper packs- the Cosmo Cricket Homemaker line, and the October Afternoon Fly a Kite line. I used some Maraschino Twine and Michael's brads.
