Harvest Blessings

So, this card was made for today's limited supplies challenge over on SCS. Of course, it has 13 layers, so I am PRETTY SURE that disqualifies it, but I seriously can't help myself!! I love this image from Anna Wights Harvest Blessing set she designed for Whipper Snapper. It has some of the cutest fall images in it, and I love this super cute GIRL scarecrow. That's right, she is wearing a dress people, she HAS to be a girl!!hehe!! Anyway, I colored her in with my SU markers after stamping her on Whisper White with Black Stazon. I stamped it again on white and some Autumn Vine DSP from SU. I cut out the shirt from the paper, and colored just the scarf on the white and paper pieced them on(shhhhh, I know that it makes it 14 layers, technically...SHHHHH). I added some piercing and antique brass brads to it, as well as some wide Chocolate Grosgrain, narrow Sage grosgrain, and chocolate gingham. I stamped the sentiment on some more of the Autumn Vine paper and glued it reality, I wanted to layer it...but didn't want the Challenge Police to come get me...scary!! The colors on this card are Chocolate Chip, Sage Shadow and Really Rust. The DP is from the Holiday Mini, and I LOVE it. I debated on whether or not to order it, and I am totally glad that I did. Well, that is it for me now..Jared has had all of his bouncy seat he cares to tolerate. Looks like it is time for a nap!! I will be back later, if he cooperates...LOL!!
BTW- Whipper Snapper is having a release on Monday for FOUR new cling sets..WAHOO!! Can't wait to show you what I have done for this(errr, once I get it done of course, but trust me, total CUTENESS). Anna has been giving super sneaky peeks on her blog, so be sure to check them out...they ROCK!!
