Sweet Little Prince

So, I mentioned before that I was going to be making a lot of my Christmas gifts this year to save money, well this is one of them!! I had made signs for my nieces a few months ago as part of one of our releases, and I decided to do the same for my nephew Aiden and Jared(although Jared hasn't gotten his yet....bad Aunt Jessie). I also decided to make signs for my other "nieces"(they are the cousins of my actually nieces, but I still claim them as my own!!), so I actually made 5 more of those plus the two for Jared and Aiden. Phew www, this elf was TIRED by the time she was done!!

Since I did the sign the same way, here is a link with directions on how I made it. The DP is from My Mind's Eye, and I paired it with Real Red and Pumpkin Pie cardstock. I used the My Favorite Things, Bling Bet set and Cuddle Up Carter. All my ribbons are from SU, and my image was colored with Copics after being stamped on an MFT Perfect Panel.
Well, that is it for me now!! Thanks for stopping by!!

Mercy's Tuesday Sketch MTSC54

Happy Tuesday people!! I am sorry my post is so late, but I was planning on writing it after I got off work last night. We had a girl walk out of her shift after about an hour, so I got stuck at work to cover her shift. Needless to say, after working 10+hours with no break(standing the ENTIRE TIME), and being short handed so I had to work TWICE as hard, I was just too tired to function!!

This is my last sketch as Mercy's Guest Muse, and it is so sad!! I was HONORED when she asked me and I have had a great time playing along with her and the rest of her team. Thanks girls, it's been fun!!

For my card today, I decided to use the SUPER CUTE new set from There She Goes, Loads of Fun. I started by stamping my washer and dryer image on an MFT Perfect Panel, and then I colored it with my Copics. It was cut out, and then mounted on an oval cut out with my Cuttlebug and Oval Nesties. The white paper is Gina K, my cardstock colors are Riding Hood Red and Basic Gray. I used some Rockabilly DP and also some Prestwick(I think) from SU. They are both retired. My scallops were made with an SU edge punch, and all my ribbons and brads are from SU. I love the sentiments in this set....so playful, and SO me!!LOL!! Plus, I have wanted a red washer and dryer since I first saw them, so now I have one!!
Well, that is it for me now!! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!! Here is a list of the Muse's who participated this week. Be sure to put your name in the Mr. Linky box on Mercy's blog so we can see your creation!!

MTSC53- Merry Wishes

Hey everyone!! This is my second post today, so if you are here for the There She Goes blog hop, check it out here!!

This card is for this week's sketch on Mercy's Blog. Mercy has the best sketches, and my first card(my blog hop card) was SUPPOSED to be for today's sketch, but if you take a look at it, and a look at the sketch....I failed, LOL!!

I needed some more Christmas cards, so it really wasn't a big deal for me to make a new card...even though Mercy made fun of me a little....I know she loves me though, so it's all good!! ANYWHO, like I have said before, I really hope you aren't sick of this paper yet(from Die Cuts With a View)...I love it, and the colors are so FUN!! I used my SUPER cute new Pure Innocence stamp, Presents for You from My Favorite Things....I told you I loved these girls!!

I started by stamping her on an MFT Perfect Panel and coloring her with my Copics. She was then cut out and embossed using my Cuttlebug and Circle Nesties. I layered her with Regal Rose, Real Red, and Wild Wasabi. The ribbons are all SU, and my ghost snowflake is from Heidi Swapp. The spiral clip is from Joanne's and my glitter dot is from Gina K. Designs.
Well, that is it for me now!! Be sure to check out the other Muse's and if you decided to play along, make sure you add your link to the Mr. Linky box on Mercy's blog!!

MTSC52 Stamp Insanity Christmas

Hey Everyone! I am back with this week's sketch for Mercy's Tuesday Sketch challenge. Mercy is one of my FAVORITE people on this planet, and I am LOVING being her guest this month. For today's sketch, I decided to use another one of the SUPER CUTE Stamp Insanity images that the wonderful people at Stamp Insanity sent to us. For today's card, I used Morgan from the Naughty and Nice set.

She was stamped on and MFT perfect Panel and then colored in with my Copics. I then cut her out and placed her on top of my ovals, which were made using my Oval Nesties and Cuttlebug. My cardstock colors are Real Red and Wild Wasabi. I used Gina K. white for the oval and sentiment, and my DP came from the DCWV Christmas Glitter stack.

My white satin ribbon is from May Arts, the ghost snowflake is Heidi Swapp, and the rest of the ribbon is from SU. My glitter dot came from Gina K. as well, and the spiral clip was bought at Joanne's. I did some piercing, and added some Liquid Applique to her dress and hat.
Well, that is it for me now!! Be sure to take a look around at what the other Muse's have been up to. Thanks for stopping by!!

Hey everyone!! Hope you are having a LOVELY weekend so far!! I have to work all weekend, but I am trying to stay positive...at least I don't have to be outside in the cold this weekend!!YAYYY!! Here is my card for this week's Crazy 4 Challenges challenge, to focus on Snowmen and Snowflakes. FUN!!! Since I am never gonna get done making Christmas cards...and I mean never, I LOVED this challenge because it gave me a chance to get just one more done!!

For my card, I started with a Real Red base, then Wild Wasabi. The white is from Gina K. and was run through my Cuttlebug with my Snowflakes embossing folder. The DP panel is my cs colors plus some DCWV Christmas paper....sure hope you aren't getting sick of it cause I LOVE it!! I did a bunch of piercing on the base of the card. My main image is the new Merry Kissmas set from My Favorite Things. It is part of the Pure Innocence line....TOO CUTE!! I stamped it on an MFT Perfect Panel and then colored it with my Copics. It was then cut out using my Cuttlebug and Label Nesties. I then stamped my sentiment on a piece of Gina K. white and punched it and it's layers out with my Circle punches from SU. I added a Heidi Swapp snowflake in between the green and red layers. The brads and all the ribbon are from SU, but the Wasabi is retired. My spiral clip came from Joanne's. Love You Muchly

It's really no secret, but I am in LOVE with the new Pure Innocence line from My Favorite Things...I seriously have to stop myself from reaching for them. I LOVE THEM!! I made this card the weekend I was in Georgia with my girls. It was that weekends(November 14th) Sketch For You To Try. I used the SUPER cute Pure Innocence stamp, Flower Girl.
I stamped her on an MFT Perfect Panel and colored her in with my Copics. I then layered her with Bashful Blue, Real Red, and Old Olive. The sentiment panel was made using my SU circle punches. I used all SU ribbons around the middle, and of course had to use a spiral clip....I do love them so.Hehe!! My DP is from the retired SU Summer Picnic pack, one of my all time faves!!
Well, that is it for me now!! Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day!!

Mojo Merry Christmas

I finally got a chance to sit down and play with my new There She Goes sets today, yayyy fun!! Jessica released three new sets this past release, and they are fabulous. The set I am showing you today is actually the new Holiday Tags set. It was made to be used with 1 1/2 x 2 3/4 address labels, which is SO COOL in my opinion.

I started by stamping my candy cane and saying on an MFT Perfect Panel. I then colored the candy cane in with my Copics and used my circle Nestabilities and Cuttlebug to cut them out. I layered the main image with Wild Wasabi and Real Red. The bottom layer is Real Red, which was run through my Cuttlebug with the Snowflakes embossing folder. My DP is from the DCWV Christmas stack from last year. I added some piercing, SU silver brads, and a ton of SU ribbons(except the white around the base which was May Arts). I got a comment about my last card not having a spiral clip, lol, so I made SURE there was one included. If you couldn't already tell, the sketch was this week's Mojo Monday sketch. LOVE it!!
Well, that is it for me now!! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!

MTSC51-Life is Good!!

Hey everyone!! This is my second week as Mercy's Guest Muse, and I am LOVING this week's sketch!!
For my card, I decided to use the new Maid for WTG set from My Favorite Things. I love that it shows her sitting in the chair, and HIM running the vacuum...never experienced THAT in my life, but it is nice to see!!LOL!!
I stamped the main image on an MFT Perfect Panel, as well as several pieces of SU DSP. I paper pieced the floor, walls, and chair. The rest was colored with my Copics. I paired it with Baja Breeze, Kiwi Kiss, and Basic Grey. All my accessories are from SU, except the brads which are from MFT.
Well, that is it for me now!! Be sure to check out the rest of the Muses' and see what they have created this week. If you decided to play along, head on over to Mercy's blog to add a link to your card in the Mr. Linky box!! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!

Crazy 4 Challenges- Week 14

Hey Everyone!!! I told you I would be back tonight with some more There She Goes goodies, and here I am!! Tonight's card/gift card holder is also for the Crazy 4 Challenges blog challenge for today. The challenge was to make a gift card holder of any type.

For my card, I did the easiest gift card holder I have found. You make a normal card, then on the inside I took a piece of plain white cardstock that was cut to 5x10. I then score my paper at 4, 5, and 6 inches. Fold and on the underside(where 4 and 6 go together), you glue together your fold, but just at the bottom so that you can punch out the top and open it to hold your gift card. I used my Word Window punch, and small oval punch to make my opening. For the card front, I used the super cute Penguin Love set from There She Goes. I stamped my scene on and MFT Perfect Panel and then colored it with my Copics. The snow was made using Liquid Applique, and I added crystal effects to the blue parts to make them shiny. The penguin was cut out separately and popped up. My ribbons and brads are all from SU, and my spiral clip is from Joann's.

Well, that is it for me now!! Be sure to check out the Crazy 4 Challenges blog to see what the other girls have created!!

Christmas With There She Goes

Since my new release stamps took a vacation WITHOUT me, I was unable to participate in this month's There She Goes release....wahhh. I have been working so much, I haven't had time to play now that they are back with me, but while I was in Georgia I made some cards using last month's release. Since they are AWESOME(in my opinion, hehe), I wanted to go ahead and show them!! If you haven't seen the new releases yet, you need to though!!

For my card today, I used the GORGEOUS Home Sweet Home set, along with the Home Sweet Home Holiday Additions. I did a TON of work on this card, and a TON of cutting. I think Mercy, Pam and Jess thought I had lost my mind, but the end result was WELL worth it. The garland was two step stamped with Kiwi Kiss and Old Olive, the bows were colored with Copics and cut out, the bells were colored with Copics, my gold glitter pen, and then cut out, the rug was paper pieced and cut out, the presents were colored then cut out, even the fireplace was stamped(the fireplace from HSH, the bricks from the HA, and the candles from the HA) then colored, and cut out. I drew in the floor using a Copic Multiliner pen, and then it was colored with my Copics. The DP is retired SU, and I paired it with Chocolate Chip, Riding Hood Red, and Kiwi Kiss. The ribbons are all from SU, and the brads are as well. I used a spiral clip I purchased at Hobby Lobby.
Well, that is it for me now!! I will be back later tonight with my card for the Crazy 4 Challenges blog post...yayyy fun!!

I stamped my image on an MFT Perfect Panel, colored it with my Copics, and then cut it out using my Circle Nesties and Cuttlebug. I then layered it with Pink Pirouette and Riding Hood Red. I did some piercing, and attached it to my card base. The base of the card is the same CS colors, which I paired with some retired Candy Cane Lane DSP(I think that was the name). The brads and ribbon are all from SU, and the spiral clip came from Joanne's.
Well, that is it for me now!! The next stop on the hop is at Joanne's Blog!! Thanks for stopping by and have a great night!!

Love Machine!!

I know most of you, if you are MFT Junkies like me, have seen this SUPER CUTE stamp before, but isn't it CA-UTEEEE!!! It was part of one of the MFT kits recently, and is now being released on Wednesday!!
For my card, I stamped the super cute robot on an MFT Perfect Panel and then colored it in using my Copics. I then cut it and it's Basic Black layer out with my Cuttlebug and Oval Nesties. The rest of the card is pretty simple. My ribbon, except the red gingham, all were part of the Love Machine kit, as well as the brads. The DP is SU, and the red CS is Real Red from SU as well. I did a bunch of piercing, added one of my favorite spiral clips, and it was done.

Crazy 4 Challenges and a Teaser!!

Hey Everyone!! Long time no see!! I have been flying somewhat under the radar recently and I have missed posting and hearing from all of you, but life has been pretty hectic. Between work and the holidays, I just haven't had a chance to play as much as I would like.

Today I have a teaser for you using the soon to be released set from My Favorite Things, Love at First Sight. It was illustrated by Amanda Baird. I stamped my girl on an MFT Perfect Panel and then colored her in with my Copics. It was then layered with Riding Hood Red and Pink Pirouette. My DP is from the Bella Rose pack. I used my PTI heart punches for my paper hearts, then I layered a Heidi Swapp ghost heart, then an SU button. I attached them all together using some white Stampin' Up taffeta ribbon. The other ribbons are from SU, as well as my brads. I did a little bit of piercing, and it was done. My card is also for this week's Crazy 4 Challenges post, to get punchy.
Be sure to head on over to Kim's Blog for links to all the other DT members that are posting teasers with this new set today!!

More Verve-y Sketches

I know I am such a slacker, but I STILL haven't shown all the cards I had made for the last Verve Stamps release. Here are two more of the cards that I made. The first card was made with the new O' Christmas Tree set.

I stamped the wreath with Memento Tuxedo Black and then colored it with my Copics. I stamped the bow again and cut it out and glued it on top to give it more dimension. I added a silver brad to the center of it. My sentiment was stamped and then punched out using my SU punches. I added a silver brad to it as well to make it look like it was hanging. The DP is from the Basic Grey Fruitcake line. I did a lot of piercing and added some SU ribbon. The sketch is an older Mojo Monday sketch.
My next card uses the new Christmas in the Air set. I stamped several of the trees on my MFT Perfect Panel and then again on different pieces of SU Wintergreen DSP. I then cut out the trees and paper pieced them. I then added some liquid applique under the trees and heated it to make it look like snow.

The image was layered with Mellow Moss and Always Artichoke. My ribbons and brads are from SU. The spiral clip is from Joanne's. My sketch was one of the release sketches....better REALLY late than never.
Well, that is it for me now!! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!
