Today is the last of THREE awesome preview days at The Little Paper Shop! That's right, we are releasing THREE new sets for April and can't wait to show you how great they are! In addition to the three new clear stamp sets we are releasing, we also have a bunch of new digital images that are available NOW on the website! They are super cute, super affordable, and ready to go....instant gratification!
Be sure to stick with us for a chance to win this set(Growing Old) and the other sets we'll be showcasing over the next few days. There are more chances than ever to win FREE stamps during our month-long birthday celebration going on NOW at The Little Paper Shop. We are turning ONE this month and to ring in another great year, we are giving away all sorts of fun prizes and giveaways. You can read all about it on the LPS Blog, where we'd love for you to join us in all the fun festivities that are going on! See you there!

Today's set is called Growing Old and it is a sentiment set that is perfect for all sorts of birthday cards. I chose to use a little girl on mine, but the sentiments can work for all ages, and they are on the humorous side, so of course I LOVE them!! For today's card, I wanted to participate in the LPS Monday Blog challenge. Since it is the LPS birthday celebration this month, this week's challenge is an inspiration challenge. We were given this SUPER CUTE cake picture to use as our inspiration. I chose to use one of my favorite new Digi Images, Katie Kite(which is available now). The colors from the cake are what I was inspired by, so I used Lovely Lilac, Regal Rose and Certainly Celery. It is a tad BRIGHT for my taste, but that is the point, right?! The DP's are both from SU, and the sketch was this weeks SCS sketch challenge. All my accessories are from SU, except the spiral clips. The image was colored with my copics!!
Be sure to stop by the LPS blog and see the inspiration picture as well as sign up for a chance to win this super cute set!!

MFT Sorry

Today is the 20th of the April, so you know what that means, right? Yep, you guessed it, it is Celebrating My Favorite Things day. This month, Joanne challenged us to use our favorite Flopsey. I had a hard time deciding on a favorite, so I chose my most recent favorite..Flopsey's Flowers. For this card, besides starting with Flopsey, I also decided to use this week's sketch. You have until the 22nd to get your entry in to win a $5 gift certificate to the MFT store. I stamped my Flopsey on the new MFT Perfect Panels...awesome for coloring...with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then colored it in with my Copics. I then cut him out and layered him on another white oval. It is layered with Close to Cocoa. My DP is from the SU Berry Bliss pack. All my accessories, including the punches to make the sentiment panel and squares are from SU, EXCEPT the spiral clips. Well, that is it for me now!! Be sure to follow the links to the MFT forum for more details!!
