I started my card tonight by cutting out the gift card pocket with the new Gift Card Pocket-Vertical Die-namics. It was cut out of Sweet Tooth cardstock, and then I stamped my sentiment on the front of the pocket with Wild Cherry ink. My paper is from the Lilybee Designs Christmas Cheer paper pad, and I paired it with Berrylicious, Gumdrop Green, and Wild Cherry cardstock. I followed Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch challenge, and used Sweet Tooth Grosgrain, and Michael's brads. To embellish it further, I used the Fancy Flourish Medium Die-namics, and the Let It Snowflake Die-namics in Berrylicious.

My card is also for today's Crazy 4 Challenges, challenge. The challenge this week is to make a card inspired by your favorite Christmas carol. I REALLY don't like Christmas music, but I have always loved the Mariah Carey version of "All I Want For Christmas Is You". What better way to get what you want for Christmas than with a gift card? It's a stretch, I know, but it's where I went with it, lol!

For the inside, I used more of the same supplies.

Here are the Die-namics I have used:

Well, that is it for me for now! Thanks for stopping by, and have fun hopping around to all my teammates blogs! Head on over to the MFT Blog for the official list!

Sweet Sunday Guest Designer- aka. ME!!!

A little over a week ago, Karen Giron emailed me and let me know that I had won the chance to be her guest designer for the next Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge...and I am STILL bouncing off the walls about it!! I work with Karen on the There She Goes AND My Favorite Things design teams, and have admired her work for SO long!! I've been playing in her sketch challenges for awhile now, so this was SUPER exciting for me!!

Then, I open the sketch and was even MORE excited!! I always get nervous because I have incredibly bad luck sometimes...I just NEW it was going to be all angles, and no layers...thank you Karen for NOT torturing me, LOL!!

Her pajamas were paper pieced with some MME Holly Jolly paper. For her stocking, I added some Martha Stewart Snow Glitter. I then cut her, and her Fossil layer, out with my Cuttlebug and Circle Nesties. The other card stock colors I used are Cranberry Crisp and Mellow Moss(SU). My paper on the background is also from Holly Jolly. I used the First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics for my sentiment, and my Snowflakes Die-namics for the snowflakes. My brads are from Michael's, spiral clip is from Creative Express, and my ribbon is from The Ribbon Carousel-Leather Tan Seam Binding.
