May New Product Tour

That's right everyone, we have made it through teasers, and now, all the new sets are available in the My Favorite Things Store!!!! Before you go shop, be sure to hop around to all the designers and leave them some love! You never know who has the candy!!

Tonight, my job is to show you the new Clearly Sentimental About Art set.  It is the Triple Scoop set for this month, which I will have more details about below!!

For my card tonight, I used the gorgeous Lilybee Designs Memorandum paper pad. I paired it with Mustard, Celery, and Wild Cherry cardstock. My flowers are from the Mini Royal Rose Die-namics, and I added some leafy flourishes with the Leafy Flourish Die-namics. I cut my sentiment out with the Vertical Greetings 2 Die-namics, and added a strip across it with the Mini Scalloped Edge Die-namics. My ribbon is Wild Cherry from MFT, and my brads are from Michael's.

For the inside, I used the same supplies as I did for the outside.

Here are the Die-namics I have used:

Don't forget:

The Cherry on Top is earned when you spend $150 before shipping and tax, earning you $15 off your order. Once that amount is hit, the coupon code will pop up on your screen, which you can write down and then apply to your order in your shopping cart. If you remove things from your cart, making it fall below $150, the coupon code will be removed automatically.

Also, remember that SOMEONE out there is giving out blog candy, and the BEST way to win, is to comment on ALL the designers blogs!! Good luck!!

Now, off to Kim's Blog for a full list of designer's participating!! Happy Stamping!!

This month we have: Baseball Boy, Goldfish Girl, Home Sweet Home, Giraffe Girl, Freckles, and the new and FABULOUS All Occasions Sentiments!!! I went for the Baseball Boy, and I have no idea why...other than he is SUPAH CUTE!!

For my card, as I said above, I used the new Pure Innocence Baseball Boy. I colored him with Copics after stamping him on X-Press It blending card. He was then cut out and layered with the Rectangle Stax Die-namics(both 1&2). My card stock colors are Ocean Tides(PTI), Going Gray, and Fossil(MFT). I paired it with the MME Lost&Found Portobello Road pack. I loved the soft muted colors, it made me think of baseball you see in old movies. I used the Jumbo Banner Day Die-namics(the second to the smallest banner) to make my sentiment flags. Using the new MiniScalloped Edge Die-namics, I was able to make their own scalloped embellishments at the top of the flags. I stamped my sentiments on them, and then added them on using some Stone Twine. The Mini Scalloped Edge Die-namics was also used for the strip across the card base. I cut out a circle panel using the Circle Stax Die-namics, and pierced it to look like a baseball...then covered it all up, LOL!! Oh well!! My ribbon is Kraft from MFT, and my brads are from Michael's.

For my card tonight, I decided to use the new Lightbulb Moment set. She was stamped on X-Press It blending card, and then colored with Copics. I paper pieced the lightbulb, which I love! This week's Crazy 4 Challenges challenge was paper piecing, so this work's perfectly since I'm sorta late, LOL! I used the Lilybee Designs Buttercup paper, and Marigold Morning, Baja Breeze, and Gray card stock. My sentiment was done on the First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics, and I used the new Vertical Greetings 2 Die-namics for my main image. I had cut the extra layer...for some color! DO you see that CUTE little scalloped border? That's from the new Mini Scalloped Edge Die-namics...LOVE IT!! Finally, my other embellishments are the brads from Michael's, and some Satin Edged White Grosgrain Ribbon from the Ribbon Carousel.
