CYCI#137-Colorful Rise&Shine

Hey there loves, it's time for another Can You Case It Challenge! This week's challenge is a fun color challenge....a fun one that found me at google trying to figure out just what exactly Chartreuse REALLY was....cause come on now, I'm from the country.

I used my Rise & Shine set from The Cat's Pajamas....cause it's amazing. I paired it with some cardstock from Bazzill that I thought could pass for the challenge colors, and while they are brighter than the graphic, well, that's how I roll.

For my card today, I used the GORGEOUS "Let It Be" set. My butterflies were colored with Copics, then cut out and placed on my panel of dp from a Simple Stories Sunshine and Happiness. I used all my normal goodies, minus the spiral clips...so there's brads, buttons, twine, and ruffled gingham ribbon. To add some interest to my butterflies, I added some dots...I don't remember what they are called, but they used to be super popular back in the day and I'm a hoarder apparently, so I still have a ton. (Ok, I couldn't sit there any longer and not know what these stupid dots were called...they are dew drops from the Robin's Nest, geez)

CYCI#136-Brains Sketch

Hey there party people, welcome back for another Can You Case It? challenge!! 

This week we have a FANTASTICAL sketch for you to play with, so I can't WAIT to see what you all come up with for this week's challenge!

Me, I decided to play with some more Halloween stamps! This week, I have used the SUPER cute BRAIIIINS set from The Cat's Pajamas! I used some yummy Pebbles BOO paper, which I paired with MFT Orange Fizz, Sour Apple, Grape Jelly, and Black Licorice cardstock. For my spiderweb, I used a Die-Namics from MFT, and then decorated my card with buttons from MFT, some black mesh ribbon, a cute clothespin I found at Wal-mart, and GOOOOOOOGLIE EYES!!!

I know you know, but if you're new here, I'm obsessed with googlie eyes at Halloween. They make me GIDDY!

CYCI#135-Back to School Smarty Pants

Hey there party people, and welcome to this week's Can You Case It? Challenge! This week's theme has been on EVERYONE'S minds....it's BACK TO SCHOOL!!

That's right, as our kids, grandkids, nieces, nephews, coaches, administrations, and beloved teachers head back to school, we here at Can You Case It? are making cards and projects saluting YOU!

I decided to use the SUPER CUTE Back To School Ellie set from The Paper Nest Dolls. I paired her with some My Mind's Eye School Daze paper from long ago. I'm not going to lie y'all, I have a hoard of paper that rivals probably anyone. It's terrible. So much paper. I colored my ellie in some bright, fun colors to match the crayon scribbles, and added some buttons and ribbons to add some fun. Yes, I know, I button and ribbon the heck out of everything...it's my style, it's my thing. I like, I love it, I can't get enough of it. Sorry, not sorry.

C4C351-Totally Witchin'

Hey there party people, and welcome back to my poor, neglected blog. I'm a slacker, what can I say?

I'm actually not, I've been crazy busy, but you'll have to wait until later to see some of the other awesomeness that I have created!

Today, I have a card for the new Crazy 4 Challenges challenge! I am ending my month as hostess with a Holiday challenge. I left it am leaving it up to all of you to decide which holiday you want your card to be for, just make some sort of holiday card!

For my card today, I paired the super cute new Totally Witchin' set from Kraftin' Kimmie stamps with some yummy Doodlebug Halloween paper. Now, normally on Saturday I play along with the Kraftin' Kimmie challenge....but someone let Melanie be in charge, and they went with a vintage, shabby, chic theme or something....I can not. Can't.

The Cat's Pajamas Tuesday Challenge#321-Paper Piecing

Our current challenge at The Cat's Pajamas is a fun one that I haven't done in a CRAZY long time! We are doing a PAPER PIECING challenge!!

For my challenge card, I used the SUPER cute Constellation Prize! I decided to pair it with some super cute Doodlebug paper, that I THINK was meant for mermaid cards or something, but I do what I want, ok??? I used the awesome 3x3 Star CutUps and the Stitched Cloud CutUps as well to decorate my card. Because I was having a super hard time trying to decide what to do with my sentiment, I decided to stamp it on the cloud...and omg...it worked, and I really loved it. What do you think?

1. Every other Tuesday a new challenge will be posted on The Cat’s Pajamas blog and our Facebook page.
2. If you want to play along you just upload your design to The Cat’s Pajamas blog page using the InLinkz button by the Monday, 11:55 EDT before the next challenge.
3. You are not required to use a Cat’s Pajamas stamp or die but if you have them we would love to see them.
4. On the following TCP Tuesday, the winner will be chosen from the previous challenge and will receive a Cat Cash Voucher for $10 or $15 if a TCP product is used.

CYCI#134-Pet Challenge

Hey there, and welcome to this week's Can You Case It? Challenge!! This week's challenge is all about PETS!! Now, I personally don't have a pet any longer...sniff sniff, but I used to have the cutest little dog name Sophie, so I decided to put a cute little doggie on my card today!

My image is from the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps set called Totally Paw-some! I paired him with the Doodlebug Puppy Love paper pad, and I even used the matching Puppy Love Sprinkles that go along with it! I of course had to add some gingham ribbon, brads, and a spiral clip to hold my sentiment on! My balls....hehehehhee, she said balls.....were colored and cut out seperately.

Crazy 4 Magic Sketches

Hey there party people, and welcome to this week's Saturday challenge from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! This week's theme is MAGIC, so of course I had to use the new Make Your Own Magic set!

I also paired it with this week's Crazy 4 Challenges sketch challenge. I'm hosting the challenges this month, so I am super in love with this sketch!

For my card, I used the Make Your Own Magic set paired with some Echo Park paper. For my main image, I cut it out using MFT Die-namics. I used buttons from different makers(MFT and Recollections), gingham ruffled ribbon, brads, black twine, spiral clips, and some MFT Sno Cone grosgrain.

We always enjoy your creations so be sure to submit them so you can have a chance to WIN a $20 gift card to the Shop!! Show us your stuff!! Wonderful Wednesday-

It's Wonderful Wednesday time!!  We hope you can play along!!  As always....it's ANYTHING GOES!!  Break out your Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and get krafty!!

For my card today, I used the super cute new Harvest Blessings set. I paired it with some paper from Carta Bella, and cardstock from both MFT and SU.

We want EVERYONE to be able to play along so your submission can use ANY stamp and can be any theme, any style, any design and it can be a card, a scrapbook page, an altered item....you name it!!  It must be a NEW creation and you can enter on this post until August 23rd at midnight!  At the end of the month one random winner will be chosen from all the submissions for the whole month and will receive a $20 Gift Card to the shop!!!  What do you think.....wanna WIN??  Let's see your krafty stuff!!

C4C-Back to School

This week's challenge at the Crazy 4 Challenges blog is a fun back to school challenge. With the kids headed back to school, the challenge was to make any card, scrapbook page, or item that had a back to school theme. I decided to make an altered notebook....yeah, I promise I wasn't sick when this happened.

I took a normal composition notebook and covered it with Martha Stewart paper. I used the MFT Apple Die-namics to make my apple, and a sentiment from the Happiness is Reading set  from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps set for my sentiment. I would have LOVED to have a notebook like this for my journal when I was in school. How about you??

My letters and numbers are thickers, and I used some May Arts Twill, and buttons from various manufacturers. 

Well, that is it for me for now...my craft area looks like a bomb dropped on it, and it isn't going to clean itself, apparently.
