Hey everyone, and happy Wednesday!! Since it is Wednesday, it is time for another Wednesday Stamp Club challenge from My Favorite Things!!

She was layered with Pixie Pink(SU), Sour Apple, and Blu Raspberry. I used Sweet Tooth for my base. The paper I used is from the MME Oh La La for Her pad. I used the Crown Border Die-namics for my border both inside, and out. My sentiment was cut out with the First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics, along with it's layer. I also used the Pretty Posies Die-namics for my flower, and the new Sour Apple ribbon from MFT. My brads are from Michael's, and my spiral clip is from Creative Express.

For the inside, I used more of the same supplies!

RCC45 Showered With Twine

Hey Everyone, and Happy Tuesday! It is time for this week's Ribbon Carousel challenge, and even though it's not my week to post, my card fit the challenge perfectly, so I went with it!

This week's challenge is being sponsored by The Twinery, and our challenge was to OF COURSE use Twine...which I use all the time, so no biggie, right!

For my card tonight,I CASEd a card I had made previously using the MFT Umbrella and Die-namics set. I had it requested as an order for a Wedding card, using more "peacock-y" colors, so I hope Igot it close to right, LOL! I used the MME Lime Twist Happy Go Lucky pad, and paired it with Night of Navy(SU), Blu Raspberry, and Sour Apple(MFT) card stock. I used both the Notched Tag, and Hearts Die-namics for my hearts. My sentiment was cut out with the First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics.  For my embellishments, I used brads from Michael's, Satin Edged White Grosgrain Ribbon and Caribbean Twine from the Ribbon Carousel. I used the Center Step Card tutorial on SCS for my design, as well.

For the inside, I used a sentiment from Clearly Sentimental about Romance, and Inspired by Flowers 2.

Here are the Die-namics I have used:

Crazy 4 Green!

So, the story of my life right now is that I am day behind....and since it's my story, I must stick to it, right? Right. Basically, I am late, but I am here, so I am giving myself an E for Effort!! I should have posted this last  night, because that's when the Crazy 4 Challenges, challenge, went live, but I decided to have a girl's night out, instead....I would say I regret it, but I TOTALLY don't!! Better late than never, right??

So, by now you have figured out that my card is for this week's Crazy 4 Challenges, challenge, which was to make a card with some green on it for St.Paddy's Day, but it didn't have to be a St.Patrick's Day card. Stampotique is our sponsor this week, and I chose this SUPER cute Hug Monster stamp...which wasn't really St. Paddy's Day at ALL, so I went with green! My colors are Celery(SU), Orange Fizz, and Berrylicious(MFT). I stamped my monster on X-Press It blending card, and then colored him with my Copics. The sentiment I used is also from Stampotique, Give Self a Hug. My paper is from the MME On The Bright Side 2 pad, and I used Michael's brads. My ribbons are Orange Net, and Honeydew and Caribbean Twine, all from the Ribbon Carousel. My sketch is this month's Sketch For You To Try.

Well, that is it for me for now! Be sure to blurf around and see what my teammates have created for you to see!!

For my card tonight,I stamped my a la mode-Cheers girl on X-Press It blending card, and then colored it with my Copics. I paper pieced just the dress with some MME Happy Go Lucky paper, and then added some Diamond Glaze to my glass to make it shiny. My image was cut out with the new Oval Stax Die-namics from My Favorite Things. I paired it with the Oval Decorative Doily Die-namics, cut out of Black Licorice. My border is the Faux Crochet Border Die-namics, and I used the new Photo Corners Die-namics, as well. My ribbon is Satin Edged Grosgrain from the Ribbon Carousel, and I used Michael's brads.

For the inside, I used more of the same supplies. My top sentiment is from the Clearly Sentimental about Birthday's set, and my Happy Birthday came from the Birthday Girl a la mode.

March Creative Challenge-Teacher Appreciation

***Scroll down just a bit for my Ribbon Carousel/Sweet Stamp Shop post***

This month's Creative Challenge from My Favorite Things is Teacher Appreciation!! Let's face it, they deserve it and MFT has LOTS of SUPER CUTE sets to help out!!

We are being featured on the SCS home page, so be sure to head to our SCS Forum for a look at every one's creations !!

When it comes to Teachers, I always think school supplies! Pencils, notebooks, erasers, pens, folders....FUN STUFF!! Not only is it stuff they need, but it puts a more personal touch on them when you decorate them!!

For my post tonight, I went all out...for me, that is! I don't usually get this involved in a project, but I really have a soft spot in my heart for teachers, and I was recently asked to donate to a teacher appreciation dinner, so I am getting a little jumpstart!!

My first project was a card for my special teacher. I used the à la mode set, You Rule. I stamped her on X-Press It blending card, and then colored her with my Copics. She was layered with Bubblegum, Rose Red(SU), and Ocean Mist(PTI). I used the Mini Rolled Rose Die-namics to embellish her a little, and added my sentiment with the First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics. For the back ground, I used some Cosmo Cricket Girl Friday paper, and the Notebook Edge Die-namics. My ribbon is from the Ribbon Carousel, and my brads are from Michael's.

For the inside, I used more of the same supplies, and a sentiment from the Clearly Sentimental About Teaching set.

I SWEAR I have seen something like this before, but I couldn't find it anywhere, so I made up my own template for my pencil box. It holds 12 pencils, which I banded together with tape, and then tied some Satin Edged White Grosgrain ribbon from the Ribbon Carousel around longways. I then connected that with some Blossom Twine. The box was made with the same card stock colors and paper as before, and I added some old SU buttons. I added some letters cut out with the By The Letters Die-namics...so FUN!

For the last part of my project, I altered a composition notebook. I used all the same supplies as before, along with another sentiment from the Clearly Sentimental About Teaching set.

Here are the Die-namics I have used:

Well, that is it for me for now, thanks for stopping by!!
