Sweet Sunday Guest Designer- aka. ME!!!

A little over a week ago, Karen Giron emailed me and let me know that I had won the chance to be her guest designer for the next Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge...and I am STILL bouncing off the walls about it!! I work with Karen on the There She Goes AND My Favorite Things design teams, and have admired her work for SO long!! I've been playing in her sketch challenges for awhile now, so this was SUPER exciting for me!!

Then, I open the sketch and was even MORE excited!! I always get nervous because I have incredibly bad luck sometimes...I just NEW it was going to be all angles, and no layers...thank you Karen for NOT torturing me, LOL!!

For my card tonight, I started with the SUPER cute new Pure Innocence- Blowing Bubbles set. I stamped her on X-Press It blending card, and then colored her with my Copics. I decided to leave her as part of the main panel, fun, right?! My base is Sno Cone, So Saffron, and Pink Pirouette. I paired it with the MME Miss Caroline Dolled Up paper pad. My border was made with the Faux Crochet Border Die-namics, and my sentiment was added with the First Place Award Die-namics. I used the Mini Rolled Rose Die-namics, as well, for my small square panels. Michael's large brads, and some Blossom Twine from The Ribbon Carousel were my embellishments.

For the inside, I used more of the paper, and another sentiment from this set.

Here are the Die-namics I used:

Well, that is it for me for now!! Be sure to check out the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge Team, and their AWESOME creations!!

For my card tonight, I started by cutting my base from the Kraft card stock in the kit, as well as a layer with the Red and Moss. I used the MME paper included in the kit for the base, and used Michael's brads, and a ribbon from the kit. For my main panel, I staped one of the images from this set on the Cream card stock from the kit. I colored the inside of the image in, and then added some glitter pen to the swirls. To finish, I added a Creative Express Spiral Clip, and I added a flower from the kit to the "flower" on the main image.

This kit is SO full of amazing products, you can make several cards using just the products included in the kit.

Here is a close up of my image....I was hoping to see more sparkle!!

Well, that is it for me for now!! It is time to continue on the hop!! Next Stop:

Hey everyone, and welcome to the second sketch with the SUPER fun new sketch challenge blog, iSpy Sketches!! This week, Beate Johns has fallen under the magnifying glass!! Beate is one of my stamping idols, and her sketch was so FUN...challenging, but fun!!

My scallops were made with the Small Scalloped Border Die-namics from My Favorite Things, and my sentiment and other flag layer were made with the First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics. For my embellishments, I used Michael's brads, SU corduroy buttons, and Blossom Twine from the Ribbon Carousel.
