It's VIP Time!!

Hey everyone, and welcome to this month's VIP New Product Tour with My Favorite Things!

If you aren't familiar with the VIP package, it is a LIMITED QUANTITY product (NOT a one-day product - it will be available until it sells out), that allows you the opportunity to purchase new, unreleased sets TWO weeks early. Normally, we release the new Who's That Girl for the VIP package, but this month, we decided to change it up!! Instead of Who's That Girl, you will get TWO new Pure Innocence sets!! This month's package is:

Pure Innocence Ice Princess stamp set
Pure Innocence Holly Girl stamp set
Winter Cuties Sentiments mini (VIP exclusive stamp set - will never be offered for sale or be available again $9 value, FREE)
Oval Open Scallop Doily Die-namics Die

Awesome, right??!! Let's get to my card!!

For my card tonight, I used the GORGEOUS Pure Innocence Holly Girl. I stamped her on X-Press It Blending card and some Holly Jolly paper from My Mind's Eye. I paper pieced half her dress(I LOVE doing this...reminds me of dresses I have bought for my nieces), and then colored the rest of her with Copics. I used more of the paper, and the Oval Open Scalloped Doily Die-namics, to create my background. I also used the Fancy Flourish Die-namics. It was cut out of Cranberry Crisp card stock, and I used Jellybean Green, Fossil, and Sweet Tooth, as well. My seam binding is Leather Tan from the RibbonCarousel.com, and I used Michael's brads, and a Creative Express Spiral Clip. For my sentiment, I used the First Place Award Die-namics.

For the inside, I used more of the same supplies, and dies, and more of the paper. I also used another sentiment from this set.

Here are the Die-namics I have used:

Well, that is it for me for now!! Be sure to check out Kim's blog for a full list of designers participating in today's post!!

TSG130-

Hey everyone, and Happy Monday....well, as happy as Monday can be, right?? LOL!! It is time for another There She Goes challenge, so let's get started!

This week our challenge is brought to us by our Senior Trendsetters. The week before release week there will be a TSG (Again!) week where we will be featuring cards/projects/tip sheets/etc. on the TSG Blog that use our fabulous older TSG stamp sets. This week the challenge is to create a card or project with the following recipe: A snowflake and a bird (it must have both images), and at least one kind of ribbon or a button.

To be eligible for the giveaway, you are to create a card using the recipe, and then come back to the TSG Blog to add your name and a link to your project in the InLinkz that is located at the bottom of this challenge post. This challenge is open until the winner has been announced on the following Monday (November 21st). The winner will get a $5 gift certificate to use in the TSG Web store!

By participating in this challenge, you may also find yourself in the Trendsetting Spotlight that shines on the TSG Blog every Thursday. We will be on the look out to find challenge cards that stand out and show Trendsetting qualities. TSG stamps are not required to participate in the challenges but are appreciated :)

You do not need to have a blog to be able to participate in the TSG Challenges! You can simply add the URL link from your project after it has been uploaded to your online craft gallery. If you upload your card to an online craft gallery, please use the keyword TSG130 so we can check out your beautiful work!

For my card tonight, I used one of this week's featured There She Goes Again sets, Penguin Love. I masked my trees, in two different sizes, and created my forest scene. I then colored them with my Copics. My Penguin was stamped separately, along with this hat, and then colored and cut out. I used my Circle Nestabilities to cut out my scene, and it's Pink Pirouette, Red Hot, and Jellybean Green layers. My paper is from the Be Merry collection from MME, and I used the Icicle Die-namics, along with some Sno Cone paper, to make my icicles. The ribbon I used is from the MFT Red Collection, and my twine is Maraschino. I used a PTI button, and some snowflakes cut from the Snowflakes Die-namics. To finish my card off, I added some brads from Michael's, and a spiral clip. I see now that the challenge says snowflake image, but I used an actual snowflake...I hope the Challenge Police don't come after me!!

Well, that is it for me for now! Thanks for stopping by, and be sure to head to the There She Goes blog to see what the other designers have come up with!! Have a great day!

Sweet Sunday Sketch With Hugs...

Hey Everyone, sorry for the late post, but I was on Facebook, and came across Karen's post showing what this week's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge was gong to be, and I wanted to play along. I strated this card before 10, but got distracted several times, and didn't get it done til almost 1am. I don't usually take that long, but I do get distracted very....SQUIRREL!!

For my card tonight, beyond starting with Karen's sketch, I decided to use one of my favorite Jolinne stamps, Just For You. I LOVE this ADORABLE little girl, and LOVE to work with her. I stamped her on X-Press It Blending card, and MME Oh La La paper. I paired it with Razzleberry, Sour Apple, and Sno Cone cardstock. I colored her with my Copics. My ribbon is old SU, and I added some Honeydew Twine to my bow. My spiral clip is from Creative Express, and my brads are from Michael's. I used the Postage Stamp Border Die-namics for my border, and the First Place Award Ribbon for my sentiment.

For the inside, I used more of the same paper, and another sentiment from this set. I also added a trail of butterflies.

Here are the Die-namics I used:

Well, that is it for me for now! Thanks so much for stoping by, and have a great day!!

Crazy 4 Challenges: Threes

Hey Everyone! It is time for another Crazy 4 Challenges ! I also threw in a side of Forgotten Stamp Friday by using my à la mode-Candy Cane Kisses set. I love using my older, unused stamps....makes me feel better about owning all of them, lol!

Now, onto the challenge!

This week we're making a TRIPLE THREAT card! We want to see AT LEAST 3 of each of the following:
3 different papers (yes card stock counts as a paper)
3 embellishments
3 dies or punches
If you decide to play along with us, all you have to do is create a card/project and upload it to your blog and/or to your SCS Gallery using the keyword C4C113. Don't forget to come back here and link it on Mr Linky so that everyone else can see it too.

I am now KICKING myself in the the rear....I saw list of threes, and thought it was THREE only, not MINIMUM of three....CRAPTASTIC!! LOL!! Well, I took the list literally, and used three papers: Fossil, Sweet Tooth, and Signature Christmas from MME, three dies of punches: MFT's Clearly Sentimental Label Die-namics, First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics, and the Bracket Edge Die-namics, and three embellishments: brads, Leather Tan Seam Binding from the Ribbon Carousel, and an acrylic snowflake from Heidi Swap. My image was stamped on X-Press It blending card, and then colored with my Copics. I used Fossil with the CS Label Die-namics, and then added two large Michael's brads.

Here is the inside of my card. I used more of the paper, another acrylic snowflake, and a sentiment from this set.

Here are the Die-namics I used:

Well, that is it for me for now! Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day! Be sure to pop by and see what all the other Crazies have created!!

MFTWSC45 Joy To The World

Hey everyone, and happy Wednesday!! Since it is Wednesday, it is time for another Wednesday Stamp Club challenge from My Favorite Things!!

For my card tonight, I started by stamping my Pure Innocence Christmas Caroler on X-Press It Blending Card, and then colored it with my Copics. For the bottom of her dress, I paper pieced it using some MME The Merry Days of Christmas paper. I then cut her out, and placed her on my tag, which was cut out of more of the same paper, using my Tag You're It Die-namics. For my snow, I used the new Wonky Scalloped Border Die-namics and some Puff Cloud White Felt. The ribbon I used is from the Ribbon Carousel; it is Covert Seam binding. My sentiment was stamped on the Dog Tag Die-namics, and then added to my seam binding bow.

And just so no one worries, I used a SPIRAL CLIP, LMAO!!

For the inside, I used more of the same supplies, and another sentiment from this set.

Here are the Die-namics I used:

TSG129 Holiday Projects

Hey everyone! Hope you had a great weekend, and that Daylight Savings Time isn't being as mean to you as it is to me...I swear, I hate it! LOL!!

It is time for another There She Goes challenge, and this week's challenge is to make a Holiday Project. Whether it be a card, or something more, the sky's the limit!!

To be eligible for the giveaway, you are to create a holiday project, and then come back to the TSG Blog to add your name and a link to your project in the InLinkz that is located at the bottom of this challenge post. This challenge is open until the winner has been announced on the following Monday (November 14th).

If you upload your card to an online craft gallery, please use the keyword TSG129 so we can check out your beautiful work!

Now, I don't want to scare anyone, but I did NOT make a card for this post....I made, what I am calling, a Christmas Shopping List holder. I started by cutting a piece of Jellybean Green card stock 9x8 1/2. I then scored it(on the 8 1/2 length) at 4, 4 1/4 and 4 1/2. The first and third score were after thoughts, and I forgot to go back and photograph it, but since my notepad has some girth, I wanted to make it more like a book.

Then for the ribbon closure, I used red line tape, and some White Satin Edge Grosgrain from the Ribbon carousel. The red line tape will help to make sure it doesn't move. To make sure it was straight, I used my Scor Pal as a guide.

I then finished the inside by adding my notepad, from the $1 bin at Michael's, and some Jingle paper from Lily Bee Designs. At the base, I created a pocket with some more Jellybean Green card stock, and the MFT Simply Scalloped Medium Die-namics. I put a piece of white paper inside it to show that you can keep notes, receipts, just whatever you need!! My other card stock colors are Wild Cherry, and Sno Cone.

For the outside, I stamped my girl from Wrapped In Joy on X-Press It blending card, and then colored her with my Copics. Her dress was paper pieced with some more of the yummy paper. I then added more paper to the base, a spiral clip with some more ribbon on it, and lots of brads. For my final embellishment, I added some silver snowflakes at the bottom. I believe I purchased them at Wal-mart last year.

Well, that is it for me for now! Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day! Be sure to head to the There She Goes blog for more inspiration and to play along!!

C4C112- Wrap It Up

Hey everyone, and Happy Saturday!! Sorry for the lack of post yesterday...it's that post release coma, again, LOL!! I have already snapped out of it, after going to bed WAY early the last two nights, and I am back tonight with my Crazy 4 Challenges challenge!

It's Joycelyn's turn to host this week, and she is hoping that you'll all join us in the challenges that she's come up with for the next month!!
To start off, this week's challenge is to WRAP IT UP! With the holidays fast approaching, let’s see how you’ll give a gift that personal touch! (boxes, bags, gift card holders, etc)

If you decide to play along with us, all you have to do is create a card/project and upload it to your blog and/or to your SCS Gallery using the keyword C4C112. Don't forget to come back here and link it on Mr Linky so that everyone else can see it too.

Now, I am not usually a tag maker, but I couldn't resist throwing together some SUPER simple, SUPER cute gift tags using the new There She Goes- No Peeking set. This set was designed for use making Advent calendars, but I think it has SO MUCH versatility. I stamped each of my images on circles I had punched out of X-Press It Blending card with my SU 3/4in circle punch. I colored them with Copics, and then layered them with either Jellybean Green, Red Hot, or Pink Pirouette scalloped circles(also used the SU punch). My paper is from MME Be Merry paper. I used the MFT Tag You're It Die-namics to cut out my tag bases(same card stock colors as before). Blossom and Maraschino Twine were used at the top, and around my MME paper layer. For the corners, I used glitter dots I bought from Gina K. a LONG time ago. To finish them off, I stamped my sentiments at the bottom: No Peeking and Don't Open Until Dec. 25th.

Well, that is it for me for now! Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day! Be sure to pop by and see what all the other Crazies have created!!

My ribbon is from MFT's Red Collection, and my twine is Blossom from MFT. I used Michael's brads, and a Creative Express Spiral Clip. Tonight my job is to show you the new Pure Innocence Chrysanthemum. She is this month's calendar/flower PI, and is so pretty!! I love seeing the gorgeous calendar pages my co-designers make with this line of stamps, I should do it, too!

For my card, I started by stamping my girl on X-Press It Blending Card. I then colored her with my Copics. She was then layered with So Saffron, Tangerine Tango, and Fossil. My white card stock is called Sweet Tooth, and a I paired all of this with the MME Six by Six pad-Blink of an Eye. My border was made with the new Crown Border Die-namics, and my sentiment was cut out with the First Place Award Die-namics. I used some Leather Tan Seam Binding from the Ribbon Carousel, Michael's brads, and a Creative Express Spiral Clip.

This little cutie pie sells for $9.

Here are the Die-namics I used:

Well, that is it for me for now!! Before you go, here are some need to know details:

The Cherry on Top is earned when you spend $150 before shipping and tax, earning you $15 off your order. For my card tonight, I started by stamping my à la mode on X-Press It Blending card, and then colored it with my Copics. Her dress was paper pieced with MME Oh La La For Girls paper. I then covered the disco ball with Icicle Stickles. I then cut it out using the Clearly Sentimental Label Die-namics. I then used more of the MME Oh La La paper for my base, along with Sweet Tooth, Razzleberry, Tangerine Tango, and Sour Apple. For the top and bottom border, I used the new Crown Border Die-namics. When I cut it out for the first time, it reminded me of curtains, and the negative part reminded me of the stage....so I went with it. For my sentiment, I used one of the Christmas Ornaments Die-namics....because it reminded me of a disco ball..lol!! My brads are from Michael's and my ribbon is old plaid from MFT.

Here are the Die-namics I used:
