***You have until October 1st to comment on this post and still be entered into the drawing for a FREE MINI STAMP SET****

Hey everyone, and welcome to MY DAY to give away a free mini set from THERE SHE GOES!!!! This month is FULL of fun give-a-ways, and all sorts of FUN-NESS!! This week, we are having our riddle challenge, which you should TOTALLY head to the There She Goes blog to check out!

Of course, before you go, you REALLY need to comment here, so that I can give you FREE STUFF!! I LOVE giving away prizes, heck, I might throw in a SPECIAL something for the winner!!

Since it is There She Goes' 3rd Birthday, I thought it was ONLY fitting to make a birthday card. I did hear something about BONUS points, so I am CASHING those in with the boss lady, LOL!! For my card, I used the Out of This World set by Melyssa Connolly. I stamped it on X-Press It Blending card, and then colored it with my Copics. I then layered it with Blue Raspberry, Lemon Drop and Orange Fizz from MFT. My ribbon is from SU, as well as my button, and my twine is from MFT. I used brads from Michael's, and my paper is from My Mind's Eye(Fine and Dandy).

Well, that is it for me for now! Don't forget to comment so that you can WIN!! Have a great day!!

Creative Challenge-NO Coloring...sniff sniff

This challenge has been SO hard for me...I can't even tell you. I feel like I forgot something, LOL!! What challenge you ask? Well, it's time for another My Favorite Things Creative Challenge.....

In 2011, MFT is working harder than ever to inspire you, and we have come up with something we think you'll really enjoy. Our Design Team Creative Challenge is a new monthly feature, where we challenge our design team to explore their creative side using a specific theme, product or technique. This month, we're all putting down the markers, pencils and paints and sharing projects with No Coloring! Visit Kim's Blog for a full list of designers that have taken up the challenge!

So, I started by stamping my image, Pure Innocence Feelin' Froggy, on Sweet Tooth card stock, and then DIDN'T color it...with anything. Weird. I layered it with Hot Fudge, Jellybean Green, and Berrylicious. I used some MME Lost&Found Breeze paper. I used the Little Open Scallop Border Die-namics in Hot Fudge. My sentiment was cut on with the Dog Tag Die-namics. For my ribbon, I used Walnut Seam Binding from the Ribbon Carousel, which is what this card is for, as well. This week's challenge is to make a fun, sassy, punny card....Feelin' Froggy works for me!! LOL!! I attached my tag with Linen Thread. I also used some Baja Breeze SU corduroy buttons. Here are the Die-namics that I used. My sketch is this week's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge.

Be sure to check out the Ribbon Carousel blog for more details about this week's challenge, as well as, seeing all my teammates GORGEOUS samples!!

Well, that is it for me for now! Be sure to head to Kim's blog for a list of designers playing along today!

It's a Sweet, Beautiful, Sketchy Day

Hey everyone, and happy Monday! Today, I have a card I made using this week's Sweet Stop Sketch, along with one of the GORGEOUS new There She Goes sets. This month, There She Goes is celebrating it's birthday, and there is a TON of fun going on over at the There She Goes blog. Riddles and prizes galore!!

For my card, I used the gorgeous new Beautiful Day set, illustrated by Di Carubia. I stamped my girl, and flower box, on X-Press It blending card separately, and then colored them both with my Copics. I cut her out using my Cuttlebug and Circle Nesties, and then layered her with Black Licorice(MFT). The box was hand cut, and then layered on top of her, so it looks like she is behind it. My paper is from the Authentique Uncommon pack. I also used Bubblegum(MFT) and Cameo Coral(SU) card stock. My brads are from Michael's, and my seam binding is from The Ribbon Carousel.
Well, that is it for me for now! Thanks for stopping by, and be sure to head over to the TSG blog to see what the fun is all about!!!

Crazy 4 Challenges- Fall Colors

Hey everyone, and welcome to this week's Crazy 4 Challenges, challenge. This week's challenge was to make a card using Fall colors...specifically Orange, Brown, Olive Green and Yellow.

If you decide to play along with us, all you have to do is create a card/project and upload it to your blog and/or to your SCS Gallery using the keyword C4C104. Don't forget to come back here and link it on Mr Linky so that everyone else can see it too.

My card is also for my own personal challenge, Forgotten Stamp Friday. I can't remember the last time I used this set, and I do LOVE it! It is still Friday here in the central time zone, so I am sliding in just under my own radar, LOL! If you aren't familiar with this challenge, it is a personal challenge that I have posed to myself to make me use some of my un-inked, unused, and neglected stamps. The only rule is that it has to have been un-inked or owned for 6 months. Digi images count, as well...we tend to collect those, and then never use them, too! If you decide to play along, just be sure to enter your name in the Mr. Linky, and when uploading to an online gallery, use the keyword.. FSF32

For my card tonight, I used the SUPER cute Pure Innocence Lil' Pumpkin set. I stamped her on X-Press It Blending Card and then colored her with my Copics. I also used some All Spice paper from MME Six By Six, to paper piece her dress. I layered her with Orange Fizz, Bayou Blue, and Hot Fudge. My ribbon is from PTI, and my brads are from Michael's. I used the Notebook Edge Die-namics, as well as the Ticket Corner Tab Die-namics. My twine is from SU.

For the inside, I used more of the same supplies, and another sentiment from this set.

Well, that is it for me for now! Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day! Be sure to pop by and see what all the other Crazies have created!! Also, if you decide to play along with the Forgotten Stamp Friday challenge, just leave a link to your card in the comments, so I can see!!

I paper pieced her dress, and colored the rest of her with my Copics. She was then layered with Sour Apple, Orange Fizz, and Black Licorice. I used Black MFT Felt to make my flower with the new Rolled Mum Die-namics. My ribbon is from the Black collection, and my twine is Charcoal from MFT as well. I used the First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics for my sentiment. My brads came from Michael's.

Well, that is it for me for now!! Be sure to check out Kim's blog for a full list of designers participating in today's sketch!!

To start, I stamped her on X-Press It Blending card, and then colored her with my Copics. I paper pieced parts of her outfit, as well. I then layered her with So Saffron, Black Licorice, and Fossil. I added a Sweet Tooth scallop from the Homespun Birdhouse Die-namics, to the bottom, see VERSATILE!!! LOL!! My scallops were made with the Simply Scalloped Medium Die-namics, and I used some MME Lost and Found Sunshine paper. My twine is from MFT, and my brads are from Michael's. My sentiment was stamped on the new Dog Tag Die-namics, and then attached with a brad.

For the inside, I used more of the same paper, another sentiment from this set, and some more of my Simply Scallops Medium Die-namics.

Well, that is it for me for now! The next stop on tonight's hop is the FABULOUS, Karen!! Have fun and happy hopping!

Three Cheers for Die-namics!! Hip Hip HOORAY!!

When I first saw the new Homespun Birdhouse Die-namics, I'm not going to lie, but, it just wasn't for me. I LOVE the die, I just don't normally make cards that I can't color on, so I couldn't see myself using it for much....until I really looked at it. Once I realized that it DIDN'T ONLY have to be used as a Birdhouse, I had a BLAST with this Die-namic!!

First off, I saw the bottom of the house and thought: What a cute border? Wouldn't that work as clouds? What if someone was ON the clouds?? FUN! So that is exactly what I did! I cut the base of the house out, and used it as a cloud base.

Next, I thought...look at those fun bird wings...what can I do with those? My answer: EVERYTHING!! Here, I have added wings to my SUPER CUTE Feeling Froggy Pure Innocence set, but they could be added to MANY stamps to give them all their own "wings"!! Imagine using them with OTHER Pure Innocence sets like: Little Angel, or Princess to make her a Fairy Princess??!! SO AWESOME!! I will say, that I cut my wings out of MFT Puff Cloud White, that way you don't have to worry about the edges being wonky(I hope you know what I mean, but basically so it doesn't LOOK like you are using the wrong side of the die cut).

Next, I used the heart and the circle from this die to add some interest to my card. The circles are PERFECT size to use as button backers, brad backers, funky design elements....the sky's the limit!! And really, who DOESN'T need another size circle die?? I know I do!! The hearts could get some wings, be balloons, and be added as a design element , as well.

I guess my point is....don't judge a Die-namic by it's cover, it may be WAY cooler than you expected!!!

Now, would you LIKE to see my card....isn't she CUTE!!!

I think that I am in LOVE with this CUTIE pie little girl! I adore her, and I gave her wings, and put her on a cloud because I can totally see her as a day dreamer...someone who has no limits to her imagination. :)
I stamped her on X-Press It Blending Card and then colored her with my Copics. I then layered her with Sno Cone, Sour Apple, and Tangy Orange. My paper is from the Fly a Kite MME Lime Twist pack. I added some large Michael's brads, to my circles at the bottom...fun, right??!! My ribbon is from the Ribbon Carousel, and my twine is from MFT, Mandarin Orange.
My sentiment was stamped on the new Dog Tag Die-namics. It is my NEW go to sentiment die...LOVE IT!!

For the inside, I used more of the same supplies....and did you see that I added twine to my circle?? Told you the sky was the limit! I, of course, could NOT forget another froggy...it's just too cute!

Well, that is it for me for now!! Be sure to check out Kim's blog for a full list of designers participating in today's teasers!! Have a great day!

For my card tonight, I have to say, I had so much FUN with this one! I started by stamping my Spa Day girl on X-Press It Blending Card, as well as some MME Six by Six Dwell paper. I paper pieced her robe, and colored the rest of her with Copics. I then layered her on top of the Open Scalloped Doily Die-namics...I love the way this looks, going to have to do it more often, which was cut out of Cotton Candy card stock. My other card stock colors are Sweet Tooth, Sno Cone and Barely Banana, all from MFT!! My ribbon is from MFT, as well as my Blossom twine, and my brads are from Michael's. I used the new Dog Tag Die-namics to attach my sentiment.

For the inside, I used one of the Open Scalloped Doily Duo Die-namics cut out of the Dwell paper. I used my First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics to cut out my sentiment. SO much FUUUUN!!

Well, that is it for me for now!! Be sure to check out Kim's blog for a full list of designers participating in today's teasers!! Have a great day!

If you upload your Paper Doll to an online craft gallery, please use the keyword TSGBDAY1 so we can check out your beautiful work!

So, here she is...my little girl from Pumpkins on the Vine. I LOVE HER!! I stamped her on X-Press It Blending card, and then colored her with my Copics. Her outfit was paper pieced with some Echo Park Happy Halloween paper(still my favoritest paper ever). I couldn't get her to stand up at first, so I added a support piece to her base...then she was perfect!! I followed Christine's FABU directions...what a neato idea!! And well, I couldn't just make a paper doll, so I had to make a fun card to go with her!!

She was paper pieced and colored the same way, and I even used the same Echo Park DP. I followed this month's Sketch For You To Try, as well. I used a sentiment from the adorable Hauntingly Delightful set. My brads are from Michael's, and my Spiral clip is from Creative Express. My ribbons, all three of them, are SO YUMMY and are part of the new Ribbon Club Kits being offered by The Ribbon Carousel! Here are the details!

September's kit includes 10 different ribbons and twine for a total of 20 yards. :D

Sept Ribbon Club Kit $9.25
3 months of Ribbon Club Kits $27.00
6 months of Ribbon Club Kits $49.95

Each kit will include 15 to 20 yards of ribbon and twine. For the 3 and 6 months of kits, shipping is only paid once.

Well, that is it for me for now! Can't wait to see what all you come up with, and what kind of fun we can have this month celebrating!! HUGS!!

I then layered her with So Saffron, Spearmint, and Black Licorice. My white paper is Sweet Tooth, also from MFT. Her pants were paper pieced with some MME Lost&Found Rosy paper. SO FUN!
