Forgotten Stamp Friday-Week 6

Hey everyone, welcome back to my blog!! It is time for my Forgotten Stamp Friday challenge!! As some of you might have seen, I started a little challenge called- Forgotten Stamp Friday!! Basically, I am challenging myself, and YOU, to use some of those poor, dusty, neglected, forgotten stamps from your collection!! I have created my own "keyword", this week's is FSF06. The only rule is that you can only use stamps that are 6months old or older, or haven't been used for at least 6 months. Basically, this is a use what you have challenge!! Thanks so much to all that have been participating...it means the world to me!!

For my card today, I pulled out my first ever cling mount stamp set from Whipper Snapper Designs, called Posies For You. It was designed my the MEGA talented Anna Wight, and as soon as I saw it, I was in love. I have QUITE the collection of her sets...and I NEVER get to them, so be prepared to get to see them a LOT on Fridays!! I stamped my flower, butterfly, and sentiment all on an MFT Perfect Panel. I then colored them with my Copics. The cardstock colors I used are Celery, Curry and Baja from SU. I then paired them with some Early Bird DP from Cosmo Cricket. My ribbons are from SU, and my brads are from Michael's. My sketch is this week's Mojo Monday sketch.
Well, that is it for me for now!! Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day!! Thanks so much to everyone that has been playing along, again. I am THRILLED to see you all getting into this challenge!!

SSSC99 Friendship

I don't know about you all, depending on where you are located, but I am TIRED of winter!! Snow, ice, cold....bleeeech!!! I really can't wait until Spring is here....winter is just depressing. I will say, though, the only good thing about Winter are SUPER cute stamp sets such as THIS one!! Wonderful Winter Wishes from There She Goes is one of the most ADORABLE stamp sets...like, ever. LOVE IT!

For my card, I started with this week's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge from Karen's blog. I started by stamping my image on an MFT Perfect Panel, and then I colored it with my Copics. She was then layered with Lavender Moon, Plum Pudding and Baja Breeze card stock. I used Cosmo Cricket Mitten Weather paper, as well. My ribbon is from PTI, and my brads are from Michael's. I used a Ribbon Slide Nestability for my sentiment panel. For my border, which I kinda covered up completely, I used the Small Scalloped Die-namic, and the Dainty Dots Border Die-namic, but like I said...I kinda covered up the scallops. Silly girl.
Well, that is it for me for now! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Greatest Hits- Valentines!!

In 2011, MFT is working harder than ever to inspire you, and we have come up with something we think you'll really enjoy. Our Design Team Creative Challenge will be a new monthly feature, where we challenge our design team to explore their creative side using a specific theme or product. This month, we asked the team to get creative for Valentine's Day. It's a great occasion to get crafty, and put your supplies to good use. Are you ready to get some ideas for your Valentine's Day gifts? Visit Kim's Blog for a full list of participants to see everything from cards to gift ideas and everything between.

For my card tonight, I started by stamping my Emma Blowing Kisses stamp on an MFT Perfect Panel. I then colored her with my Copics. She was then layered with Pretty in Pink, Purely Pomegranate, and Close To Cocoa. My DP is from an old SU pack called Berry Bliss. I used Pretty in Pink brads, spiral clips from Creative Express, and MFT ribbon.

I used the Hearts a Plenty Die-namic to cut out my hearts on my sentiment panel. I then added some more brads, and a saying punched out with an SU punch. My sketch is this week's Sweet Stop Sketch.

For the inside, I used the new Layered Label Die, and it's matching More Essential Sentiments set.

The rest was made using the same DP and ribbon as the front of the card.
Well, that is it for me for now!! Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to check out Kim's blog for the official list!!

As I said above...this card tried to kill me. I mean, completely and totally kill me. I could handle the Red, Grey and Black...the pink....whaaaaat?? It just wouldn't work for me. I can't wait to see how easy you all make it look, for real. Anyway, I stamped my birds, from the new Love Birds set, on an MFT Perfect Panel, and then colored them with my Copics. I then layered the image with Wild Cherry, Basic Grey, and Black Licorice. My DP is from the SU Rockabilly pack. I used some MFT ribbon, Michael's brads, and my tag nestabilities for the sentiment. My dots border was cut out using the Dainty Dots Border Die-namic.
Well, that is it for me for now. Be gentle..I am fragile right now, LOL!!

Crazy 4 Challenges- Color Inspiration

Hey everyone, and welcome to this week's Crazy 4 Challenges challenge!! Today, Maria...our hostess, has a super cool inspiration challenge for us. The picture is on the C4C blog, so be sure to go check it out.

If you would like to play along with us, all you have to do is create a card/project, and upload it to your blog and/or to your SCS Gallery using the keyword C4C69. Don't forget to come back here and link it on Mr Linky so that everyone else can see it too.

For my card today, I used one of my new favorite à la mode sets, Key To My Heart from My Favorite Things. She was stamped on an MFT Perfect Panel, and then colored with my Copics. I paper pieced her dress, and layered the image with So Saffron, and Regal Rose. My DP is from the Georgia Peach DSP pack from SU. I added some Dainty Doily Borders on both sides of the panel, and some large silver brads from Michael's to the bottom.

My sentiment panel is where I had the MOST fun. I am LOVING these layered sentiments..and all the YUMMY Die-namics at MFT are making that super easy!! I cut out some hearts using the Heart's A Plenty Die-namic, and then used a Filigree Flower from SU. My sentiment was punched out with an SU punch. I put it as close to my Pretty in Pink bow as I could, so it would look like it was part of it...fun, right?

For the inside, I used more of the same stuff, and another sentiment from the set. I just LOVE the finished look on the inside of cards. Makes them so much easier to get ready to sell or give away!!
Well, that is it for me for now!! Be sure to check out the other girls to see what they have created for this challenge!!

Last week, I had three people play along!! Thanks to: Wanda, Kecia, and Teresa!! The only rule is to use a stamp set that hasn't been used in at least 6 months.

I started by stamping my Flutter Anya stamp on an MFT Perfect Panel. I then colored her with my Copics. She was then layered with Berrylicious and Regal Rose. I added a tiny bit of glitter to her hearts, but I have a sucky camera, so you can't really see it, lol. For my paper, I used My Mind's Eye Fine and Dandy. I cut a strip of flowers out with my Flower Border Die-namics.

For my sentiment, from the Anya Says set, I used the Hearts a Plenty Die-namic, and an SU punch. My brads are from Michael's, and my ribbon is from both MFT and SU.

Well, that is it for me for now!! I can't wait to see if you play along!! Be sure to use the keyword FSF05, or come back here and leave me a link in the comments!! There is no time limit, just be sure to use the right keyword, and have FUN!! Have a great day!!

Changes, They Are Here!!

MFT is super excited to announce that Wednesday Stamp Club will now be centered around a weekly sketch. We know your stamping time is precious, and we want you to maintain as much creative freedom as possible. Sketches are the perfect starting point to a card. Use it as a blueprint, and create a card using the stamp set and supplies that strike your fancy. You can turn to the sketches time and again for creative inspiration.
A new sketch will be posted each Wednesday at midnight on the MFT blog. You'll also find the sketch in the MFT forum on SCS on Wednesday morning, as well as in the weekly newsletter. Our talented Challenge and Design Teams will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.
We encourage you all to play along, and to enter your card in the weekly draw for a $15 gift voucher to the MFT Boutique. Simply follow the sketch and create a card or other paper creation. You may use any stamps and supplies that you wish. Each week, a keyword is assigned to the sketch. All you need to do to enter, is upload your card to the gallery at SCS, and enter the given keyword in the keyword box, during the upload process. After the deadline, we randomly choose a winner from that week's entries and the winner will receive a $15 gift voucher. If the winning card uses MFT stamps, the participant will earn a $5 bonus, for a total of a $20 gift voucher! That is up to $100 per month in prizes, JUST for playing along. We hope you'll join us in 2011.

EXCITING!! I LOVE sketch challenges, so plan on seeing me play in ALL of them, lol!! Today, I have a card made for this month's sketch using the SUPER CUTE new Pure Innocence-World's Best Doctor. He was stamped on an MFT Perfect Panel, and then colored with my Copics. I layered him with Not Quite Navy cardstock. My DP is from the October Afternoon Detour collection. Cute, right?

For my scallops, I used Not Quite Navy and Kiwi Kiss along with my Scalloped Die-namics, and Scalloped Scallops Die-namic. My brads are from Michael's, and SU Kiwi Kiss ribbon.

For the inside, I used more of the same, and the rest of the saying from this super cute set!!
Well, that is it for me for now!! Be sure to check out the MFT Blog to see who else is playing along. Have a great day!!
