For my card today, I started with my super cute new Pure Innocence image, Book in Hand. My cardstock is Pumpkin and Bashful Blue from SU, and Red Hot from MFT. My white is GP white, and my image was stamped on an MFT Perfect Panel. I colored it using my Copics. My ribbons are from SU, spiral clips are from Creative Express, and my brads are from Michael's. The Dp I used is from the SU Summer Picnic pack.

MFT Greatest Hits!!

Recently, Joanne, came up with a BRILLIANT idea for all of us at My Favorite Things to bring out some of our older, but still excellent, sets. Each of us chose a different set, and today we are all posting them for your viewing pleasure!! We are going to keep doing this every month, because let's face it....with all the new stamps coming in, we tend to neglect the older ones.

For my set, I chose to use Here's The Scoop....love it!! Right now, with my Gall Bladder issues, I can't have Ice Cream. It isn't something I normally crave, but you know how it is when you KNOW you can't have something, that's the one thing you really really want. I started by stamping my image on an MFT perfect panel, and then colored parts of it with my Copics. The rest, I paper pieced using the FABULOUS Chocolate Kiss pack from MFT. My cardstock is all from MFT- Hot Fudge, Bubblegum, and Pink Lemonade. My ribbons are both MFT as well, my spiral clips are from Creative Express, and my brad's are from Michael's. I used Taylor's sketch from Friday, as well.
Well, that is it for me now!! Be sure to check out all the other MFT girls and see what they are posting with today!! There will be a full list on Kim's blog in the morning by 10AMEST(April 15th). Thanks and have a wonderful day!!

TSG50--Pleating

Hey everyone, long time no see!! I have been having some health issues, so I haven't really felt like stamping. I am hoping that everything works out soon, but we will see. I go back to the doctor in the morning, and I am hoping to get some answers!!
Anyway, enough about me!! Today, I have a card I made using the new Sweet Pea set from There She Goes. It was designed by our new illustrator, Chris Dark. She is fabulous!! I made this card for the There She Goes weekly challenge, to use pleating.....something I definitely need practice with!! I also decided to play along with Mercy's Tuesday Sketch.....super fun!!

I started by stamping my Sweet Pea image on an MFT Perfect Panel, and then I colored it with my Copics. I then layered it with Celery and Hot Fudge cardstock. My DP is from the DCWV Latte stack. My ribbon, which I TRIED to pleat, is from SU.....definitely more practice.
Well, that is it for me now!! Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day!!

HB2U

When I saw the new Lots of Bots set from My Favorite Things, I was instantly in love. It is just too cute for words!! I don't have a lot of boy stamps, so this was kinda perfect....especially since it can technically be used for either one. The card I have to show you today was made as a sample for the MFT guest designer contest, which I hosted. This month's FABULOUS winner is Wendy Bond. If you haven't seen her card, you will know why once you do. It is amazing!!

For my card, I colored it with Copics, and layered it with Tangerine Tango, Kiwi Kiss and Hot Fudge(MFT). My DP and ribbon are from SU, my brads from Michael's, and my spiral clips are by Creative Express.
Well, that is it for me now. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.

Hey everyone and welcome to this month's My Favorite Things new release blog hop. The party actually started at Kim' Blog so head there to get started!! If you are here now, you should have come from Cindy's FABULOUS blog!!
Tonight, it is my job to share with you the new Fred Bear in Flight. I know you all have seen him in peeks before, but isn't he just the CUTEST!!??!! He is my new fave....til the next one, LMBO!!

I started by stamping my Fred Bear on an MFT Perfect Panel, then colored him with my Copics. I then cut him, and his layers out using my Cuttlebug and Circle Nesties. I used all MFT Cardstock(Red Hot, Fossil, and Black Licorice). My sentiment was punched out with the SU modern label punch, and my brads, ribbon, and DP are from there as well.
Well, that is it for me now!! Thanks for stopping by and have a great time on the hop!! Next stop.. MEL'S BLOG!!

Teasers Day 5- Baby Bump!!

Today is the final day of teaser's at My Favorite Things, and we are showing three new sets today!! Actually, you MAY have seen them before...if you are an MFT junkie like me!! Baby Bump was this month's VIP set, so you may have seen it then, the other two sets are Baby Bump Additions and Clearly Sentimental About Babies.

For the outside of my card, I stamped my Baby Bump image on an MFT Perfect Panel and then colored it with my Copics. I then layered it with Riding Hood Red, Kiwi Kiss, and Black Licorice(MFT). My DP is Rockabilly from SU, brads and ribbon are SU as well. My spiral clip came from Amazon. I used SU punches to create my sentiment panel, and my Cuttlebug to cut out the circle in the background.

For the inside, I used the same supplies, but added a sentiment from the Clearly Sentimental set. Isn't is sweet? A TON of my friends are pregnant right now, including my sister. Not only did she get pregnant with my nephew, Jared, when she wasn't supposed to be able to, now she is pregnant with his brother, due in July!! I can't wait. If I can't have babies of my own, I will spoil others!!
Well, that is it for me now!! Thanks for stopping by and be sure to head to KIM'S BLOG to see who else is peeking today!!

Pure Innocence Monday-TEASERS!!!

Happy Monday!! Hope you all had a happy and safe weekend. Today, since it is Monday, we are showing teasers of this month's Pure Innocence images from My Favorite Things. This month, we are releasing four images.....and they are to DIE for cute!! I decided to show two different images using the same supplies, but different sketches.

Both sketches were featured on the Taylored Expressions blog(this past Friday and the Friday before), and I am LOVING them. For both cards, I stamped my images on MFT Perfect Panel. I then colored them with my Copics. They were cut out(the first card using my Cuttlebug and Nestabilities), and then layered with Regal Rose, Pumpkin Pie, and Hot Fudge(MFT). For my first card using the new Make Mine a Double, I used a combination of Basic Grey, SU, and MFT Chocolate Kiss buttons.

My DP is from the Sweet Always pack from SU. All my ribbons are from SU as well, and my big silver brads are from Michael's. I used SU punched to make my sentiment panel on my Birthday Princess card. The spiral clips I used, came from Amazon.
Well, that is it for me now!! Be sure to head to Kim's blog to see what other MFT team members are posting teasers today!! Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!!

I am already in LOVE with Fred...for good reason!! I mean really, do you see how stinkin' cute he is?? Millie is SUPER cute too, and I can't wait to get my hands on her!!

For my card today, I decided to do this past week's SCS sketch(ok, two weeks). I haven't done one of those in about a year....at least, that's how it feels!! I stamped my Fred on an MFT Perfect Panel, colored him with my Copics, and then cut him out using my Cuttlebug and Circle Nesties. My ribbons, brads, and corduroy buttons are all SU, as well as my DP(Prestwick) and CS. My spiral clips came from Amazon.

Crazy 4 Challenges-Kraft Base

It's Saturday-ish, so it is time for another Crazy 4 Challenges challenge. This week's challenge was to use a Kraft base on your card. I figured this would be an easy one, til I got into the drawer where I keep my Kraft card stock, and realized I am just about out......YIKES!! I don't use it often, but I hate being out of something!! Be sure to head over to the C4C blog to see all the details about his week's challenge. We are being sponsored by The Greeting Farm this month, so I was anxious to use some of their stamps that I have started collecting.

The stamps I used today is from the Hope and Grace collection, called Sing. I stamped it on an MFT Perfect Panel and then colored it with my Copics. I layered it with Kraft. My DP is from the Bella Rose collection, and I also used Riding Hood Red and Kiwi Kiss card stock. My ribbons and brads are from SU, and my spiral clip from Amazon.
Well, that is it for me now!! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!! Be sure to see what my other crazy girls have come up with for this challenge!!
