The Cat's Pajamas Peeks-Day Two

Peeks for this month's The Cat's Pajamas Peeks started yesterday, and although I didn't play along yesterday, I have a peek for you today....so ENJOY!!

Today's peek features the HE-LARIOUS new set "Lemons." I gotta say, I have never been more inspired to finish the inside of a card in my life, lol.

I used Penny Black paper for my card. My cardstock is Lemon Tart from PTI, Berrylicious and Kraft from MFT, and White from Michael's. I threw this all together and embellished it with MFT buttons in Banana Split, Sweet Tooth, and Berrylicious, a spiral clip, some Kraft grosgrain. The CutUps I used on my card are the new County Fair, Apron Border, and the Stitched Clouds.

I love this sentiment so much, it's super snarky, just like me. :)

Sunny Wishes-Saturday KKS Challenge

Hello lovelies, welcome to my blog!

I am this week's hostess of the the Saturday challenge at the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps blog, and this week I have challenge you all to make a card or project using a beach theme. You can create a beach scene, or use a beach image, the sky's the limit!

My card today was made using the Sweet Summer Sentiments set from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps. I decided to create a beach scene instead of using a "beach" image. I love the sentiments in this set, and I wanted to highlight one.

Now create a card, scrapbook page or altered item with a Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp or any other stamp and be sure to use our THEME as a starting point for your creation!!!  You will have until July 24th at 11:55 pm EST to get your entries in!

It's Time To Hop...and SHOP!!

Well humans, we're finally here.....it's hop day for the July release at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!!! The awesome thing about the release hop, is you get to see bits of ALL the stamp sets as you go along, so sit back, and enjoy.   Now, yes, the sets are available, but please....look first, then shop....because really, you're going to want to see it all because we might change your mind :)

 Over the last few days in our Krafty Peeks, we have shared lots of amazing creations featuring  new stamp sets from all of our artists for our July release!  We know these new stamps will inspire you to make your own fabulous creations!

First of all, we got a sweet new BABY set from Cheryl Grant called WELCOME TO THE WORLD, which I am using today!!

I paired my super cute image from the new Welcome To The World set with a paper pad from Penny Black. I used MFT Cardstock and buttons in Orange Fizz, Blu Raspberry, Bubblegum, Lemon Drop, and Sweet Tooth....and some Orange Fizz grosgrain. My brads are from Michael's, and I used spiral clips as well. My image was cut out using the MFT Circle Stax, and I used the MFT Fishtail Flags to cut out my flag panel. I also used this month's sketch!!

Here are the details for using the KKS Sketch:  
The sketch will last all month long and if you use it in ANY of our Challenges or WW's during that month you will get an additional chance to win a store gift card!  You do NOT have to use the sketch, it's just a little extra boost for your mojo if ya need it!

Along the way, we also shared a gorgeous set of SWEET SUMMER SENTIMENTS by artist, Becky Pearce! 

 Then we had TWO new sets from artist, Annie Rodrigue called BECKY BUBBLES and COFFEE & FRIENDS! 

Also we have an awesome new girly girl set from artist Emilie Goulet called PRETTY AS A PRINCESS!

Saturday Challenges-Still Peekin'

Hey there humans of blogland, welcome to my blog....hopefully this isn't your first time, but if it is...WELCOME!!  Today is day four of our Kraftin' Kimmie Peeks, and also our Saturday Challenge(and the Crazy 4 Challenges challenge)!! But first, let's talk about the set, and my card...ooookay???

 A necessary staple of any stamper's arsenal is a BABY SET!!!  We are SO thrilled to share this sweet new baby set by artist, Cheryl Grant!   It is called WELCOME TO THE WORLD!!  This adorable set includes THREE main images plus SEVEN coordinating sentiments!!

For my card today, I made a card that I think could be used in several different ways. It uses the super cute stork image from this adorable new set. I paired it with the MME Just Splendid Paper Pad, which I paired with MFT Spearmint, Bazzill Banana Split, and Michael's White. I used the Cat's Pajamas Stitched Clouds CutUps to make my clouds out of some MFT Bubblegum and Berrylicous, and Bazzill cardstock. My finishing embellishments were Spearmint grosgrain, Sweet Tooth buttons both from MFT, Michael's brads, and some spiral clips.

This week our challenge hostess is  JENNY!  And her challenge is ANYTHING GOES (as it always is during release week)!!   So create a card, scrapbook page or altered item with any stamp but if you use a Kraftin' Kimmie stamp you'll double your chances to WIN!!  Use any sketch, any design, any embellishments because Anything Goes!   Have some krafty fun and join us this week because we'd LOVE to see your KKS designs. Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Peeks-Day Three!

Hey there wayward wanderers of blog world, welcome to day THREE of our JULY Kraftin' Kimmie Peeks!!!  Hopefully this isn't the first day you have stumbled upon this month's Kraftin' Kimmie peeks....and if it is, uh....go back a few days and start at the beginning....we've got some amazing stuff this month!!

  Today it's all about the girls!!!  And we are SO thrilled to share this fabulous set of stamps by artist Emilie Goulet, perfect for all the sweet little girls in your life!  It is called PRETTY AS A PRINCESS!! This fun set includes THREE main images plus EIGHT perfectly coordinating sentiments!! They are ADORABLE!!!

I used my super sassy little princess to create this fun card using the Echo Park Life is Good paper pad to make it stand out! My cardstock is MFT Sour Apple and Bubblegum, and I used Bazzill Banana Split. I created my background using the Cat's Pajamas Dots CutUps, and and MFT Doily Die-namics. For my embellishments, I used MFT buttons and grosgrain, Michael's brads, and some spiral clips.

Kraftin' Kimmie July Peeks-Day Two!

Hey there krafty people, loyal followers, friends and family, and aimless internet wanderers, I hope you enjoyed yesterday's peek from the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps JULY 2015 previews!!!  

Today's peek features two new sets from our fabulous artist, Annie Rodrigue!!  One, called BECKY BUBBLES was featured in our limited edition Kard Kit and NOW we are officially releasing it with the other July stamps!!  The second set is for all you caffeine junkies out there (myself include) and it's called ....COFFEE &FRIENDS!!   Be sure to prepare yourself....this hop is going to be full of coffee, bubbles, naked Becky butts, and fun!

So for my card, I used Becky Bubbles....and her cute little bubble butt! It took every bit of will power I had not to put a cute little tattoo on that bootie, and I gotta tell you...I wasn't the only one that was tempted. She was paired with the products that were included in the kit this month including the Crystal Iridescent Sparkles from the Kimmie Store.  The paper I used is called We Are Family from Echo Park!!!

Bring On The Fun...It's Time For A Release!!

Hey there krafty people, loyal followers, friends and family, and aimless internet wanderers, it's time for the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps JULY 2015 previews!!!  

I am SUPER excited to let you know that we FINALLY have another set from Krafty Girl, and sentiment QUEEN, Becky Pearce!!  Today's set is called....SWEET SUMMER SENTIMENTS!!    Full of gorgeous sayings, fonts, and sentiments both large and small, this set is perfect for cards, scrapbooking, altered items, and what ever your heart desires.....no really, you can use it for whatever you want!!

For my creation, I made a relatively simple, yet SUPER bright and cheerful card using the Kaiser Craft Butterfly Kisses paper pad. My cardstock is MFT Razzleberry Razzleberry and Orange Fizz, and Michael's White. I use MFT buttons in the same colors as my cardstock, and Sweet Tooth, and some grosgrain in Orange Fizz as well. For a little added fun, I used some Pink May Arts Ruffled Ribbon.

TCP Tuesday-Stamp All Night....Who Needs Sleep

Today is Tuesday, so it is time for another new challenge from The Cat's Pajamas. This week's challenge is a sketch challenge, which you can totally see at the Cat's Pajama Blog!

For my card today, I paired the super cute new In Shape set with today's sketch. I also know that it will come as absolutely no surprise to you that I used the amazing, awesome, and absolutely totally cute Stitched Cloud CutUps with my card as well. My paper is from Chickaniddy, and I paired it with cardstock from MFT and Michael's.

TCP Tuesday Inspiration

Hey ya'll and welcome to my bloggity blog....however you got here, I'm happy you came, and I whether you leave a comment or not, I'm just happy that you decided to stop long enough to look. :)

Today is Tuesday, so it is time for another new challenge from The Cat's Pajamas. This week's challenge is a Inspiration challenge. I loved the light feel of the photo, the springy bright colors, and the different levels of images in the jars photo(you can see the photo HERE). 

For my card today, I used the super gorgeous new Take Flight stamp set. I paired it with the Bird Friends and Stitched Clouds CutUps. My sentiment was cut out with the Fancy Flip Frames CutUps. I used 4 MFT inks in Steel Grey, Lemon Drop, Bubblegum, and Berrylicious. My cardstock is Michael's White, MFT Banana Split, Berrylicious, and Bubblegum, and some MME DP. To finish, I embellished with some Hemp Cord and brads.

WARNING....Sarcasm, Snark, and Saturday Challenges Ahead!!

I talk about this all the time if you are friends with me on Facebook, but I really do need adult supervision. I fall, I break things(myself included), I eat cheese puffs for lunch AND dinner some days(excuse me while I go wash the orange dust off my fingers). Why do I bring this up? Well, it's simple you see....firstly, I have been up for almost 24 hours(grownups, especially ones who suffer from migraines, shouldn't do that), I for real did have cheese puffs for lunch, and for some ungodly reason I signed up for today's challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps which was to try something new........I hate trying new things. Sigh. I should have orange traffic cones, and flashing signs or something........

So, I did the no lines coloring technique using my Let's Roll, Dude! set....which is as intimidating as hell when you work with some of the most talented colorists in the biz. This was my first try, so don't be judgy, I tried, ok??!! I used an Echo Park paper pad, and paired it with MFT Gumdrop Green, and Bazzill Whirlypop and Banana Split. I embellished with Michael's brads, spiral clips, May Arts twine, and some buttons from MFT in Lemon Drop and Nightshift Blue. For my background, I used the MFT Open Scallop Doily Die-namics. 

Here's the fun part, I used this week's Crazy 4 Challenges challenge, which was a sketch.....with three tiny squares, so, I adapted......sue me. :)
