TSG81 Dashing Through the Snowwwww....

This week has been a HECTIC one, to say the least! My boyfriend's grandma passed away this week, and I have been nursing a pretty severe cold/sore throat. To say that I have burned my candle at both ends, would be an understatement. I decided, while he was out having some MUCH needed bonding time with family from all across the globe, that I would stamp a little, and TRY to catch up my Google reader....HA!!!

I hadn't had a chance to play with this week's There She Goes challenge, and since it was a sketch...I had to "jump in it".....have you seen that commercial?for DirecTV? kinda annoying, but catchy....anywho. I stamped my cutie pie dogie from the Snowy Days set on an MFT Perfect Panel, and then colored him with my Copics. I then layered him with Wild Wasabi and Pacific Point cardstock. My DP is from DCWV from a few years ago, and the Wasabi panel on top of it was run through my Cuttlebug with my snowflakes folder. I used some MFT mini brads, brads from Michael's, SU ribbons and punches, and Creative Express spiral clips.
Well, that is it for me for now!! Be sure to check out the TSG blog to see the other designer's who have participated this week!! Have fun and have a great day!!

On a side note, be sure to hug the one's you love if you can, and if you can't VERBALLY hug them. You never know when the last time you will see them will be.

WSC- Catch Up!!

Today, the new WSC challenge was posted on the My Favorite Things blog...and when I saw the challenge, I decided I wanted to play along!! I also missed out on last week's sketch, so I decided I would combine the two....that's why I'm "catch(ing) up".
Wanna play along? All you need to do to participate is to upload your creation to the Splitcoast Stampers Gallery using this keyword: MFTWSC11102010 – and one lucky winner will be selected at random next week to win a $15 gift card to the MFT Boutique! And, if you wanna chat with your competition, be sure to join us on the My Favorite Things Member Company Forum on Splitcoast Stampers. We’re on this thread, and would love to chat with you!

For my card, I started with my Lovin' From the Oven set. She was stamped on an MFT Perfect Panel, and the parts that weren't paper pieced were colored with my Copics. I paper pieced her skirt, and apron with some Pasta Fagioli paper from Jillibean Soup. I did all my NORMAL embellishing...pierce, pierce, brads, pierce, pierce, ribbon, pierce, pierce, spiral clip WITH ribbon...you know me!! My sentiment was cut out using a ribbon slide tag die from Spellbinders.

For the inside, I used all the same supplies along with another image from this set. It was stamped on Gina K. White, and colored with Copics.
Well, that is it for me for now!! Thanks for stopping by!!

My card today was made with the Pure Innocence set Tweeny Teen Frosty Friends. I haven't had a chance to use her...and I almost forgot I had her...so sad!!! I am starting to feel really bad for all my un-inked stamps...guess I will have to stamp more, LOL!! I paired my girl with some DCWV Christmas DP(which I am STILL obsessed with two years later), Red Hot(MFT), Regal Rose, and Wild Wasabi card stock(SU). My ribbon is from MFT, and my image was stamped on an MFT Perfect Panel, and colored with Copics.

TSG80 Ho Ho Ho

Hey everyone!! Today is Monday, and this week's challenge at There She Goes is brought to us by our featured Trendsetter- Angela! She is challenging us to create a scene using our stamps. One of the great things about TSG stamps is that many of the stamp sets are designed to be able to use together for even more versatility in your stamping projects. So get out those stamps and get inky because we can't wait to see what you create!

To be eligible for the giveaway, you are to create a card that uses the provided sketch then come back to the TSG Blog to add your name and a link to your project in the InLinkz that is located at the bottom of this challenge post. This challenge is open until the winner has been announced on the following Monday (11-15-10). The winner will get a $5 gift certificate to use in the TSG Web store!

By participating in this challenge, you may also find yourself in the Trendsetting Spotlight that shines on the TSG Blog every Thursday. We will be on the look out to find challenge cards that stand out and show Trendsetting qualities. TSG stamps are not required to participate in the challenges but are appreciated :)

You do not need to have a blog to be able to participate in the TSG Challenges! You can simply add the URL link from your project after it has been uploaded to your online craft gallery. If you upload your card to an online craft gallery, please use the keyword TSG80 so we can check out your beautiful work!

I am running super late for work...shock, so here is my card!!! My DP is from the Paper Studio, and I used the super cute Penguin Love set. Fun huh!!

My sketch is Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch from last week. My brads came from Michael's, and my ribbon is from MFT.

Crazy 4 Challenges- Square Cards

Happy Saturday people!! Right now, I am working the midnight shift, so my Saturday isn't what I would call happy, but hey...such is life!! I am VERY HAPPY that it is time for another Crazy 4 Challenges challenge...and being a new month means we have a new hostess which is Cindy Haffner. With Christmas just around the corner, Cindy has some nice and easy challenges for us this month.

So let's get started! For our first challenge for the month, Cindy has challenged us to create square cards.

If you would like to play along with us, all you have to do is create a card/project, and upload it to your blog and/or to your SCS Gallery using the keyword C4C62. Don't forget to come back here and link it on Mr Linky so that everyone else can see it too.

For my card, I used Mercy's sketch from this week, along with the new Bedtime Story Pure Innocence set. Isn't she a CUTIE PIE!! I paper pieced most of my image using some Pasta Fagioli DP from Jillibean Soup along with some Fly a Kite from Cosmo Cricket. My card stock is Regal Rose and Summer Sun from SU, and Berrylicious from MFT. What wasn't paper pieced, was stamped on an MFT Perfect Panel, and then colored with Copics.

For the inside, I used the same paper, and some more brads from Michael's.
Well, that is it for me for now!! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!! Be sure to check out my Crazie girls...it will be worth it!!

Mojo162 Happy Holidays

Isn't this new set from There She Goes just the CUTEST??!! When I sat down to stamp tonight, I knew EXACTLY what I wanted to use!! This new set is called Snowy Days, and sells for $15. It was designed by the fabulous Torico!

I paired my super cute image with the Mojo Monday sketch from last week. It fit perfectly in the cute little circle in the middle. My image was stamped on an MFT Perfect Panel, and then colored with my Copics. I paired it with Ruby Red(SU), and Jellybean Green from MFT. My red ribbon is from SU, and my white is from Michael's. My brads are from Michael's as well, and my spiral clips is from Creative Express. I used an SU punch for my sentiment.
