First of all...I used the Jumbo Scalloped Die-namics on my Kraft piece, LOVE!! I can't wait for the new Die-namics to be released!!!

DD/DDA- Bev's Button Challenge!!

Every month on the 20th, the past and present Dirty Girls host a monthly challenge. I forget about it every month, but my cutie patootie friend, Joanne, reminded us a couple days ago, and I finally got time to play!! This month's challenge was hosted by Bev, who was on the DD during my term as one, as well. Her challenge was to use buttons!! Lots of buttons, in fact, and the only restriction was that you were not allowed to use black of any kind...no ribbon, thread, buttons, or cardstock....not even ink.

For my card, I stamped my image from the There She Goes set, What's Up Buttercup?, on an MFT Perfect Panel with Memento Rich Cocoa ink. I then colored it with my Copics. The image was then cut out with Cuttlebug and Circle Nesties. I layered it with Celery, Saffron, and Bashful Blue cardstock. My DP is from the SU Delicate Dots pack. I used all SU ribbons, brads from Michael's, spiral clips from Creative Express, and my buttons are from the Paper Studio.
Well, that is it for me for now!! Here is a link to the gallery for this challenge, so you can see what the other DD/DDA's have created!! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!

I'm Mad About You SFYTT

I told you last night when I posted my My Favorite Things hop card, that I had a card using the new Costumes of Wonderland set, and here it is!! I am in LOVE with this new set....how about you??

I started by stamping my image on an MFT Perfect Panel, and also on some Razzleberry Lemonade DP. I paper pieced parts of her dress, and colored the rest with my Copics. I also stamped the flowers separately, and cut them out. I used Rich Razzleberry, Melon Mambo, and Crushed Curry cardstock. The sketch I used is Jen's SFYTT from this Saturday. All my ribbons, and punches, are from SU.

For the inside, I used more of the SU DP and cardstock, but I also used my new Die-namics dies. I used the scalloped scallops for the DP edge, and the cloud dies for my sentiment. Aren't they fabulous!!
Well, that is it for me for now!! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.

TSG55- Make an Impression

This week’s challenge over at the There She Goes blog, is being brought to us by Jessica! She challenged us to create a card using line art as your background. This is a fun technique to use when you might not feel like coloring or are short on time. Larger line art type images (like the cafĂ© from Daily Grind) work great! Simply stamp your image in a light colored ink for the background. You can then use dimensionals to add smaller images (that have been colored and cut out) on top of the background image.

To be eligible for the giveaway, you are to create a card that utilizes line art as a background, then go to the TSG Blog to add your name and a link to your project in the Mr. Linky that is located at the bottom of this challenge post. This challenge is open until the winner has been announced on the following Monday (May 24th). The winner will get a $5 gift certificate to use in the TSG Web store!

By participating in this challenge, you may also find yourself in the Trendsetting Spotlight that shines on the TSG Blog every Thursday. We will be on the look out to find challenge cards that stand out and show Trendsetting qualities. TSG stamps are not required to participate in the challenges but are appreciated :)

You do not need to have a blog to be able to participate in the TSG Challenges! You can simply add the URL link from your project after it has been uploaded to your online craft gallery. If you upload your card to an online craft gallery, please use the keyword TSG55 so we can check out your beautiful work!

So, I'm not sure I did this right, but I tried, lol!! I used my She's A Lady set, yet again. Love it!!! I stamped my image with Memento Rich Cocoa on a piece of Pink Pirouette. I then stamped my bags, and poodle on an MFT Perfect Panel and then colored the dog with my Copics. My bags were paper pieced with different pieces of Parisian Summer DSP. My ribbon is SU, as well as my CS, DSP, and punches used for my sentiment. The brad's came from Michael's.

Mojo 138 Congrats Grad!!!

My cousin is graduating from high school in the next week or two, so I decided to go ahead and make his card. Totally out of character, I know, but I kinda like being ahead right at this moment. This is the ONLY thing I am ahead on, but I digress....lol.

I decided to use this week's mojo sketch, and I was COMPLETELY inspired by one of my favorite people's SUPAH CUTE card, Wendy Bond. She rocks, really, she does!! I stamped my Fred Bear Graduates, from My Favorite Things, on an MFT Perfect Panel and then colored him with my Copics. I layered him with Bravo Burgundy, and Black Licorice(MFT). My sentiment was punched out with an SU punch, my brads are from SU, all my ribbons are SU, and my buttons are from PTI. The DP I used is from the Parisian Spring DP pack from SU, as well.
Here is a look at what I did for the inside...fun stuff!
Well, that is it for me now!! Hope you all have a wonderful day!!

Stampbook Saturday

Hey everyone and welcome to this week's Stampbook Saturday!! This is my first time helping out with this, and I gotta tell you, it was a TON of fun!! In fact, I was so excited, and I knew EXACTLY what picture I wanted to use, so I spent almost an hour trying to locate it!!LOL!! Guess I still have some organizing to do, huh?
Before I get into what my page is all about, here is some info on just what a stampbook page is!!

What is a Stampbook Page? A Stampbook Page is a scrapbook page created using stamps and inspired by a card. Each week I create a new Stampbook Page to give you ideas on how to use your stamps in a new way and hopefully inspire you to catch up on those family photos that you've been meaning to scrapbook ;)

So, my inspiration piece was this SUPER gorgeous card made by my fabulous friend, Jodi. Jodi has been one of the most amazing friends I have met through stamping, and although we don't get to talk as much as we used to, I still love her to pieces!! I knew I wanted to use the Fairy Good Day set for my page, seeing as how I had my heart set on using this picture, so I looked in the TSG gallery, and found her card, and was instantly inspired.

So, you probably want to know a little bit about the picture, right? Well, it was taken December of 1999, right before Christmas. My mom and late stepfather paid for my siblings and I, and my cousin Mandy(in the middle), to all go to Disney World for a Christmas present....BEST GIFT EVER!! Not only do I LOVE Disney World, it was the Millennium celebration and everything was just spectacular. On this particular day, my two sisters, cousin, and I all went into one of the stores, and in true to us fashion, decided to have a little fun. My picture was taken of my girls wearing their tiaras, and holding their wands.....HAHAHAHAHA!!! I bet I get into so much trouble if they see I posted this.....hehehehe.

I used SU's Baja Breeze, Cameo Coral, and Walk in the Park DP. My images were stamped on MFT Perfect Panels, and then colored with my Copics. My ribbon is from SU, as well.
Well, that is it for me for now!! Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed my page and were inspired to make one of your own!! There is no better way to preserve a memory, in my opinion!!
Be sure to check out the There She Goes blog for all the going's on at TSG, as well as to check out other Stampbookers!!

Crazy 4 Challenges- Pockets!!

Hey everyone!! It's time for another Crazy 4 Challenges challenge! This week's challenge(C4C37) was to make a card using a pocket. It could either be a pocket image, and image with a pocket on it, an actual pocket card, pocket paper...just as long as it had a pocket.

For my card, I used the pocket from an old SU set, Pocket Fun. I haven't used an SU stamp in FOREVER!! My flowers are from the Verve Stamps set, Feel the Sun. I stamped the flowers on an MFT Perfect Panel, and then colored them with my Copics. I then cut them out and added them to the top of my pocket. I paper pieced the pocket using some Bella Rose DP. I did a ton of piercing, used a bunch of Michael's brads, added some SU ribbon, and made my sentiment panel using SU punches.
Well, that is it for me for now!! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!

MFT Greatest Hits!!

Hey everyone, and welcome back!! Last month, the team at My Favorite Things decided to start doing a monthly challenge. The challenge is to use some of your OLDER MFT sets....cool eh??!! Today, the MFT Design Team is celebrating the Stephanie Fizer line of stamps. As an added bonus, there is a 2 day sale (good only Thursday & Friday) on all Stephanie Fizer stamp sets. You'll save 15% on all of her sets. The code is FIZER.

For my project today, I chose to use the SUPER CUTE I {Heart} Books set. I haven't used it, shamefully, since it was released, and I was itching to use it again!! Instead of a card, I decided to make some bookmarks. I LOVE them!!

Each bookmark was made with the same basic supplies, so I will just list them at the bottom. What you can't see, is that I personalized all of these by using my Bling Bet to put names on the back. I forgot to photo them, oh well!!

My Supplies were: MFT Perfect Panel, Copics, SU Good Morning Sunshine DSP, Hot Fudge(MFT), Pacific Point, Summer Sun, and Kiwi Kiss CS, and SU ribbons.

Well, that is it for me for now!! Be sure to head to Kim's Blog(official list will be up at 11amEST) to see what other designers have participated today!! I can't wait to see all the Greatest Hits!!
