I know I have talked about him on my blog before, but this is my cousin's baby, Jonah. Jonah was born with Marfan's Syndrome, which is rarely ever detected at birth unless in severe cases, like Jonah's. He has had a tough life, so far, for a 6 month old, and has been in the ICU after two heart surgeries, for over a month. Despite everything the world has thrown at him, he fights through everything, and even has an adorable little smile on his face. My family is having a benefit supper and auction to raise money for his medical expenses, and this is one of the four shadow boxes I donated. I actually made two of this one, so that his mom and dad could have one, as well. I really hope that we are able to raise a TON of money, but more importantly, I REALLY hope that Jonah, and his mom and Dad, get to come home soon!!
I used Orange Fizz, Banana Split, Sweet Tooth, and Ballet Blue card stock. My stars were cut out using the Stacking Stars Die-namics, and my border was the Star Border Die-namics. I used the First Place Award Ribbon for my sentiment, along with the Clearly Sentimental About Babies set. My other sentiment, Dream Big, is from the Big Greetings set, and was cut out with my Oval Stax, then layered with the new Mini Circle Doily Die-namics. My paper is a DCWV pad I have had for FOREVER! I did use a spiral clip, Orange V Striped Twill from the Ribbon Carousel. I used the new By The Letters Uppercase Alphabet Die-namics, as well, for his name.
Here are the Die-namics I used:
