Here For You

I know I have said it here before, but I really dislike making sympathy cards. Basically, I don't make them until I need them. Well, unfortunately I need one, so I used my go to sympathy set from There She Goes, Here For You. It is simple and STUNNING and always makes the most gorgeous cards. I started with this past weekend's Weekend Sketch Challenge.

I stamped my main image with Memento Rich Cocoa on Gina K. White, and then cut it out using my Nestabilities and Cuttlebug. I then layered it with Chocolate Chip. The other card stock color is Baja Breeze, and my DP is from the retired Parisian Breeze pack from SU. My ribbons and brads are from SU as well. I did my normal piercing, and it was done. This card is pretty simple, but I think it is lovely!!
That is it for me now!! Thanks for stopping by!

  6. Yes,Jessie, this card is lovely and I agree that a sympathy card is a difficult one to make probably because we want to convey just the right feeling at a time of great sadness.

  8. It IS lovely and so beautiful, Jessie! How do you like the Tuxedo Memento color stamp pads? Are the colors different enough from SU colors? I use the black one all the time, of course, but I've been wondering about their other colors. When you get a sec, I'd appreciate your thoughts!

  11. sorry you had to need a sympathy card, that's the only time I make them too but it gives me a chance to pray for the recipient and all who are grieving and make it with them in mind rather than ahead of time & not as personal. this is a beauty!
