Prettie Wednesday-Fancy Folds
So, two weeks ago, Danielle challenged the Prettie Girls to make a card using a "Fancy Fold". She said we could pick whatever we wanted, just couldn't be a standard or normally folded card. As soon as I saw this challenge, I decided that I was FINALLY going to try making a free standing pop up card that I had seen on SCS a few weeks ago. I am not going to give directions for this technique here, but here is the SUPER fabulous tutorial that I used to make mine. Great pictures and directions, and so easy to follow, especially for someone like me who doesn't enjoy doing stuff like this!! LOL!! Now with that said, how can you NOT like this, it is so FABULOUS!! Yes, I love myself, hehehehe!! Anywho, this card was made using a Basic Black Base that I layered some paper from the SU Ghostly Greetings pack on. The tag features the soon to be released stamp set, Pick of the Patch from Paper Pretties. Isn't Daisy too cute!! She and Cooper are all dressed up and ready for Trick or Treating, although, Daisy doesn't look all that thrilled, LOL!!! I stamped both images on watercolor paper and colored them with my SU markers. Cooper was layered with Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive and Basic Black. Daisy was layered with just a scalloped circle cut out of Basic Black. I added some piercings and brads and attached the images to my tag base that was made with BB, PP, OO, and some more GGDSP(like all my abbreviations..lazy, what can I say). The tag at the top was made using my SU Round Tab punch and a large eyelet. All the ribbons on the tag and base are from SU. The sentiment panel on the bottom was made with my large oval punch and circle punches. I accidentally punched an extra hole, so I decided to add some brads to it.. I think it is super cute...IMHO!! This "card" is on its way(as soon as I get it in the mail...yikes) to Jackie R., I sure hope she likes it!! Well, that is it for me now, I will be back later with my sketch card, hopefully!!
