Let the Teasers Begin!!

Here we are again at our first day of My Favorite Things teasers, and I am SO excited about tonight's set. It was actually an idea I pitched to Jody and Kim, and I was THRILLED when they went through with it. My Daddy was in the Army for 21 years, so the military is something near and dear to my heart...not to mention the fact that everyday, I am allowed to live the life I want to live because someone is selflessly sacrificing their life for mine. To all our service men, women, and the families and friends that support them, this set is for you. Godspeed.

Here are the details about the upcoming release on June 5 at 10 PM EST:
  • You can attend the New Release Party on June 5 from 8-10 PM EST HERE in the MFT forum, where you can enjoy fun, games, and PRIZES!

For my card tonight, I used several MFT dies along with my Godspeed set. My images were colored with Copics, and then cut out. I used the new Tag Stax Die-namics to layer them in Fossil, and White Twill Ribbon and Jute Twine from the Ribbon Carousel. My paper is some random paper I got at Michael's, and I paired it with Bazzill Whirly Pop, SU Cranberry Crisp, Fossil, and Sweet Tooth. My stars are from the new Star Stax Die-namics. My sentiment was cut out with the First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics.

For the inside, I used the rest of the sentiment from the front, and more of the stars.

Here are the Die-namics I have used:

Well, that is it for me for now! For a full list of designer's participating in teasers today, head to Kim's Blog for all the details!

  8. Jessie - thanks for the great idea for this set! My Dad is a veteran and I we often make shadow boxes for other veterans with their metals and pictures in them. This stamp set will be wonderful for cards to go with these! Thanks for suggesting it. And all hail to all our service men and women!
