MFTWSC94 Sweet Friend of Mine

Hey everyone, and happy Wednesday!! That means it is time for another Wednesday Stamp Club challenge from My Favorite Things! It's MY favorite sketch challenge!

For my card tonight, I used the super cute Pure Innocence Calendula. It's the PI Flower of the Month girl for October, so I wanted to show her off while it was still October! I paired her with some MME Tangerine paper, and my cardstock colors are Tangy Orange, Fossil, Sweet Tooth, and Aqua Mist(PTI). I used Sno Cone, Tangy Orange, and Kraft buttons for my card, along with some hemp cord. My image was cut out with my Circle Stax Die-namics, and then layered with the Dizzy Doily Duo Die-namics in Fossil. The sentiment I used was stamped on one of the layers from the Sweet Stack Label Die-namics, and I used Michael's brads on each end of it, as well as other places on the card. For my background, I used more of the Tangerine paper, and used the Fishtail Flags Layers Stax Die-namics, and the Designer Labels 3 Stax Die-namics.

Here are the Die-namics I have used:

We encourage you all to play along, and to enter your card in the weekly draw for a $15 gift voucher to the MFT Boutique. Simply follow the sketch and create a card or other paper creation. You may use any stamps and supplies that you wish. Each week, a keyword is assigned to the sketch. All you need to do to enter, is upload your card to the gallery at SCS, and enter the given keyword in the keyword box, during the upload process. After the deadline, we randomly choose a winner from that week's entries and the winner will receive a $15 gift voucher. If the winning card uses MFT stamps, the participant will earn a $5 bonus, for a total of a $20 gift voucher! That is up to $100 per month in prizes, JUST for playing along. We hope you'll join us in 2012.

Check out the FAQ - Wednesday Stamp Club thread if you need any further info on this challenge or help on how to upload your card to the gallery.  Upload your creation to SCS using keyword MFTWSC94 for a chance to win this week prize (see above). You have until noon Tuesday, October 23rd to play along.

Thanks SO much for stopping by!  Please head on over to Kim's Blog for a listing of all the designers working with this sketch today!

That's right everyone, we have made it through teasers, and now, all the new sets are available in the My Favorite Things Store!!!! Before you go shop, be sure to hop around to all the designers and leave them some love! You never know who has the candy!!

For my card tonight, I used the fun new Clearly Sentimental about Coffee set. I LOVE this set, and I LOVE all the sayings in it so much...it's perfect for the coffee lover in your life. :)

I stamped my sentiment on Sweet Tooth cardstock, and then cut it out with the Oval Stax Die-namics. I then layered it with the Oval Decorative Doily Die-namics which was cut out of the new Nightshift Blue cardstock from MFT. I used Nightshift Blue, Lemon Drop, and Sno Cone buttons from MFT, and some Hemp cord as embellishments. My ribbon is Nightshift Blue, and I also used some Michael's brads. To finish my card, I used the new Beautiful Bows Die-namics.

Here are the Die-namics I have used:

The Cherry on Top is earned when you spend $150 before shipping and tax, earning you $15 off your order. Once that amount is hit, the coupon code will pop up on your screen, which you can write down and then apply to your order in your shopping cart. If you remove things from your cart, making it fall below $150, the coupon code will be removed automatically.

Also, remember that SOMEONE out there is giving out blog candy, and the BEST way to win, is to comment on ALL the designers blogs!! Good luck!!

Now, off to Kim's Blog for a full list of designer's participating!! Happy Stamping!!

Kraftin' Kimmie-Let the Peeks Begin!!

We are kicking off the *New* OCTOBER Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps previews today and first off, we’d like to introduce you to a beautiful new set of Trinkets!!! We are very excited to share with you our….WINTER TRINKETS!!!

These circular sentiment stamps have been created and designed by the totally talented Krafty Girl, Nicole Aspinall!! They are made especially to fit in your 1 3/8ths and 1 ¾ inch punches, for quick and easy cutting!!! This month we are releasing the WINTER Trinkets set which includes EIGHT trinkets in each set with four of each size and they come as both positive and negative images, so you can use your black or brown ink with the positive stamps and use your coloured inks with the negative ones!! You will get the set as a completely unmounted full sheet of deeply etched grey rubber.

All of the Krafty Girls are cardmakers primarily and we have found these to be such a quick and easy way to add a sentiment to our creations or to use as the focal point on our cards! They are also perfect for your Smashbook pages and your scrapbook pages, not to mention your altered items and tags!! No stamper's stash is complete without them!

Now just you wait 'til you see the awesome samples the Krafty Girls have put together for you....and be sure to comment on each and every stop because one lucky stamper is going to WIN the new WINTER TRINKETS set!!!

For my Trinket preview, I decided to make a tag...one of the things that Trinkets are PERFECT for! I use a TON of gift tags at Christmas, and I was able to use ALL handmade ones last year...which means the fam will be expecting them, lol! I stamped my Trinket on X-Press It Blending card, and then colored it with my Copics. I then cut it out, and popped it up on a wreath made with the There She Goes Holly Jolly Die. I used Lilybee Designs Christmas Cheer paper for the wreath, and my base. My other dies were the MFT Fancy Flourish, Icicle Border, Tag You're It, and Let It Snowflake Die-namics. I used Baja Breeze(SU), Wild Cherry(MFT), and Fossil cardstock. To finish, I added some brads, and my ribbons are green polka dots from May Arts, and some Red Jute Twine from the Ribbon Carousel.

Well, that is it for me for now! Be sure to check out the other Krafty Girls to see their creations!!
