Masculine Challenge Saturday

This week our hostess is Krafty Girl, PEGGY! And her challenge is called YOU SAY IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY!!? So create a card, scrapbook page or altered item with a Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamp that is for a birthday celebration!! Pull out those fabby stamps and play along! My card today paired the You've Got Game set with some Simple Stories paper. I don't know why I am so in love with the warm, yummy colors of this paper pad, but I definitely am. I colored my Lucas on X-Press It blending card, and then colored him with Copics. He was then layered with Orange Fizz, Jellybean Green, and Hot Fudge from MFT. I used some Hemp Cord from MFT to embellish, along with some spiral clips and brads. 

My card today is also for this week's Crazy 4 Challenges, challenge, to make a masculine card, and this month's Naughty or Nice challenge, all about the guys. I have been a slacker thanks to my Migraines, so you should be seeing more of me soon as they hopefully get me lined out!

Naughty or Nice?

If you haven't already heard, we have started a new challenge blog, and I am SUPER excited to be a part of it...mostly because it's naughty, with a side of nice:) You can check us out on the Naughty or Nice blog, but for now, a bit about our challenge. 

So what do we mean by Naughty or Nice? Well, take a look at your sentiment stamps - are there any in your collection that are kind of "off-color" or a little bit racey? Pair them with a seemingly innocent image and BAM! You've succeeded in being naughty. But for those of you who cannot find a devilish stamp that fits the bill, no worries - you could be nice and post a card with our theme and you will be fulfilling our challenge parameters too!

With There She Goes closing, I really needed a place to get my snarky, naughty, slightly off color sentiments a place to hang out, and Naughty or Nice is the place!! This card was made with an image from the Shiver Me Timbers set, and paired with a sentiment from the Ship Happens set. Nothing says love like a little booty:)

I used Cosmo Cricket Pixie-Licious paper, along with Not Quite Navy and Jellybean Green cardstock. I used the MFT Heart Stax Die-namics, spiral clips, Michael's brads, Sweet Tooth grosgrain, and Smooth White cardstock for my base.

So, my card shows love for the booty, while also playing along in the Crazy 4 Challenge's challenge. This week's challenge is a color challenge, so be sure to check it out as well!
