C4C and Sparkle Creations

Hey everyone!! I'm hostessing over at the Crazy 4 Challenges blog this month, and this week's challenge is carrying on with our Halloween-ish theme, but  before we get to that...a word from our sponsor, hehe!

This week's challenge is being sponsored by Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps!!!

They are offering up 2 Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps as our prize.

So, for this week's challenge, I have decided to do a color challenge. The colors are:

Orange/Black/Purple

If you decide to play along with us, all you have to do is create a card/project and upload it to your blog and/or to your SCS Gallery using the keyword C4C159. Don't forget to come back here and link it on Mr Linky so that everyone else can see it too.

For my card today,  I used the SUPER cute Mummy Oliver stamp set from Sparkle Creations. I stamped him on X-Press It blending card, and then colored him with my Copics. My cardstock colors are Grape Jelly, Orange Fizz, Black Licorice, and Sweet Tooth all from MFT. For my background, I used some Echo Park Happy Halloween paper, and the Spider Web Die from There She Goes. To finish, I used Black Licorice Grosgrain, and Michael's brads.

Well, that is it for me for now! Be sure to check out the Crazy 4 Challenges blog to see what my teammates have come up with this week!!

RCC24- BLING

Hey Everyone, and Happy Tuesday!! I am almost out of my funk/post-release coma!! Just in time for The Ribbon Carousel Challenge (RCC24)!!

This weeks challenge is brought to us by the amazingly talented Sparkle Smith! Sparkle wants us to get our sparkle and bling on. So make your creation with some sparkle and bling to join us this week.

Sparkle Creations is our sponsor this week with some of the cutest stamps EVAH!

For my card tonight, I decided to use the SUPER CUTE Cupcake Ruby stamp. I stamped her on X-Press It Blending Card, and then colored her with my Copics. I paper pieced part of her dress, and then covered most of it with glitter..VERY Blingy!! My paper is from the Lilybee Designs Happily Lost pack. I paired it with Rose Red, Orange Fizz, and Black Licorice paper. My ribbon is Black Seam Binding from The Ribbon Carousel. I also used Michael's Brads, a Creative Express Spiral Clip, and the MFT First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics for my sentiment.

We'd love for you to join us this week! Here are the details:
  • Make your NEW creation following the ribbon carousel challenge of the week. Any submissions made prior to the challenge date will be deleted. Be sure to include some type of ribbon, twine, hemp, lace....basically, anything that comes on a spool.
  • Load your creation up onto your blog or a public viewing forum like SplitcoastStampers, (use the keyword RCC24) with a direct link back to THIS post. Including the challenge graphic isn't a requirement, but sure is appreciated! (A participant of our very first challenge didn't link back or mention our challenge and couldn't be named Top Spool, so don't let that happen to you!)
  • Link up your creation using the Inlinkz button at the bottom of this post. Your image may take a little while to pop up, but don't worry, it will appear shortly.
  • Be sure to come back the Friday after the challenge ends to see if YOU are a Top Spool! :D
Well, that is it for me for now!! Thanks for stopping by and have an amazing day!
