Prettie Wednesday-Moving

So, two week's ago, Jana challenged the Prettie Girls, and all of you to get MOVING!! She said that we could take that literally or figuratively, but to make sure our cards were about moving. Well, since you all know how much I HATE to do technique-y cards, I decided to use our new Home Sweet Home set, which is part of our new Fat Cat Stamps line designed by my fellow Prettie Girl Danielle, and MOVE. I started by stamping my boxes on an MFT Perfect Panel and then I colored them with my Copics. They were then layered with Old Olive, Tangerine Tango and So Saffron. The layers and main image were cut out and embossed using my Cuttlebug and Oval Nesties. The DP is from the SU Haiku pack that is now sad. I added some silver brads, lots of piercing, and some SU ribbon. the white panel, and sentiment are Gina K. White(80lb). The sentiment was punched out with my Word Window punch. Anyone need this card, let me know and it is YOURS!! I am not moving, no matter how much I WANT to, lol!!

It is my turn to issue the challenge this week, and I decided on a sketch challenge. So, if you are like me, and can't resist a good sketch, please play along!! We would love to have you!! You can click on the picture to make it bigger, but it is pretty self explanatory!!

Well, that is it for me now. Be sure to check out what the other Pretties have in store for you!!!

MFT Kits-Just Add Color!!

We are pleased and proud to introduce something fresh, fun and completely distinctive - MFT Kits! Each month, a new Kit will be revealed, complete with an exclusive, unreleased stamp set, and the items you'll need to complete a very special project (s). The set included with your MFT Kit is a brand new, unreleased set, and will not be available for a period of at least 3 months after the MFT Kit containing the set is released.

I haven't received my kit yet, but I can't WAIT!! Until then, I decided to use my By the Sea set. It coordinates PERFECTLY with the new kit, and gives you MANY more options!! Isn't that
For my card I used this week's SCS Color Challenge. It was Apricot Appeal, Creamy Caramel, and Tempting Turquoise which I thought would work PERFECT for a beachy scene!! I started by stamping my main images, and added some small birds in the corner. The hat was stamped separately and then cut out and added later. I used an MFT Perfect Panel and memento Tuxedo Black ink. I then colored my scene with Copics. I added some SU brads and SU ribbons. The hemp is also from SU, and the Spiral Clip is from Creative Express. The sentiment was punched out with my SU circle punches. I did a bunch of piercing, and it was done!!
Be sure to get your kit while they are still available!! Trust me, you won't want to miss out!!
Also, today is Wednesday, so there is a new tutorial posted over in the How'd They Do That forum! Kathy has done some AWESOME stuff with Fabric and the digi papers that you won't want to miss out on either!
Well, that is it for me now!! You better get to shopping!! Have a great day!!
