Happy Easter Everyone!!

Yesterday, I decided to make little Easter Treat Baskets for my nieces instead of buying them like I normally do. They aren't as fancy as what I am used to doing, but I think they are WAY cuter and WAY more heartfelt!! To start, I used one of the SUPAH cute new Die Cuts that I got from my friend Jody(texasjodylynn). She has a TON of super cute die cuts for sale that you can order in any color that she has listed as available. For my projects, I used Taken With Teal and Regal Rose. Since I didn't have the actual die cuts in these colors, or enough for all seven of my girls, I used her original Tote Bag(it is the second die cut listed on the page) die cut as a template. Let me tell you, that was NOT the easiest way to go...next time, I plan ahead!!! I used my Spots and Dots jumbo wheel from SU to cover the bag die cuts in Versamark. I then assembled the boxes using some red line sticky tape that I also got from Jody. It is JUST as good as what you get from SU or the craft store, but seriously the roll is HUGE!! For my images, I used the Verve Stamps set Chocolate Bunnies. I stamped the Bunnies on Gina K. White and then colored them in with my Copic markers. The sentiments were stamped the same way and then punched out with my SU oval punches. I then filled the boxes with lotsa chocolate!! The ribbon came from my pal Julie, and is from May Arts!!

My next project is a redo of this card from a couple of weeks ago. My stepmom saw it and LOVED it, so I made one for her to give to her grandson Aiden. It is his first Easter, so it needed to be special. The DP is from the Delicate Dots DSP and from the retired Prints Pack from SU. I paired it with Bashful Blue and Brilliant Blue....I know, I was shocked too, LOL!! The image is from The Little Paper Shop and is one of their super cute and SUPER affordable digital stamps. I colored what little bit I had to color with my Copics and then popped up the egg and hands. I had someone ask me how I could paper piece a digital image. What I do is cut a piece of the DP just a little bigger than the space you want to die cut. I then attach it to a piece of typing paper exactly where the image will be printing out. I then run it through my printer and viola, it is paper pieced(well, after you cut it out, but ya know what I mean!)!! The ribbons are from SU, and the spiral clip was sent to me by my pal Jackie. It was bought at her local stamp store, I think. That is where I get all of mine too, just in case you are wondering!! The sentiment is from the Blessings set from LPS. Well, that is it for me now!! Hope you all have a fabulous Easter!!
