Kraftin' Kimmie Day Three

Welcome back to day THREE of our SEPTEMBER Kraftin' Kimmie Peeks!!! Today we are sharing TWO super cute new sets by artist Thais Narciso! They are called.......GO WITH THE FLOW! and JUST CHILLIN'!

When I saw the bear and penguin with the antlers....I'm not going to lie, I squeeee'd a little...lol!! My penguin from Just Chillin' was stamped on X-Press It blending card, and then colored with Copics. It was then cut out using the circle stax Die-namics from My Favorite Things. I used Red Hot, and Gumdrop green buttons, cardstock, and Red Hot grosgrain, along with Michael's brads and a spiral clip. My paper is from Echo Park-Holly Jolly Christmas, and was cut out using the Fishtail Flags Stax Die-namics.

Krafty Peeks, Day Two!!

I used the SUPER cute Lucas from the Joyful Holiday set. He was colored with copics, then layered with MFT Red Hot, Berrylicious, and Sour Apple. My paper is from the MME Winter Wonderland paper pad. I paired it with large silver brads from Michael's, a spiral clip, and some Sour Apple Grosgrain.

Crazy 4 Kraftin' Kimmie

Welcome back for another totally fun challenge here at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!!! We've got a great challenge for you again this week!! Come along and play with us! 

This week our hostess is SHERI!! Her challenge for you this week is EMBELLISH IT!! So create a card, scrapbook page or altered item (with a Kraftin' Kimmie stamp) and share it with us here! Get creative! Add lots of fun embellies!! Have some krafty fun and join us this week because we'd LOVE to see your KKS designs. For my card today, I used the Birthday Girl set from the the Rachel Anne Miller line. She was stamped on X-Press It blending card, and then colored with my Copics. I then layered her with Bubblegum, Orange Fizz, and Berrylicious cardstock(also the color of my buttons). I used some Bubblegum grosgrain, Michael's brads, and a spiral clip.

Krafty Kardmaking Kit

We've had such wonderful response at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps to our first Krafty Kardmaking Kit, that we thought we do a little follow up HOP about it!! 

As you hop around today you'll be able check out SIX fabulously spooky creations from our Krafty Girls that were ALL made using only ONE KIT!! They of course used their own ink, coloring medium and white paper, but everything else can be found in these fabulous KITS! 

In case you haven't heard, you can find all the info on the Kraftin' Kimmie blog, or in the Kraftin' Kimmie Shop!!

For my card, I used the Cheryl Alger set You're Boo-tiful!. It is an $8 set, so if you like what you see, you could totally choose this as your add on set, or any other $8 set!!! The only paper I used that wasn't included in the kit was X-Press It blending card for my image, and layer, and I used Copics to color my image and matting.

OH and one last thing......you know we love giving stuff away!! Wanna WIN the September 2013 Krafty Kardmaking Kit??!! All you have to do is submit a creation (could be a card, scrapbook page, altered item) using only the supplies from your August kit and submit it on THIS POST by Friday, September 13th!! Life Is a Circus Blog Hop Challenge

Here we are again, and it's time for this month's Blog Hop Challenges to start!! We have four days of awesomeness to share with you, so be prepared for a ton of fun!! Today we are kicking things off with a new set from Torico called Life Is A Circus....so let's get going!

I don’t know about you, but sometimes my life is a circus….which makes this set just that much more FUN!! A ringmaster, stage, and dancing bears…what’s not to love??

Life’s a Circus is a 6x8 set that includes a total of 35 stamps and will sell for $24.00. This set will be for sale at 11pmEST on Saturday, August 31st.

I honestly can't say enough things about this set...it truly is ADORABLE!! I love every image it includes, and can't wait to create more with it!! For today, I paired it with the MME Summer Splash paper pad, and used Electric Red, Lemon Drop, Nightshift Blue, and Smooth White cardstock. My ribbon is Sweet Tooth grosgrain, and I used Michael's brads.

I chose this image, from Love is the Best Medicine, of Lucas because he looks SO sad, lol!! It looks like he has had the best summer, being a boy, and now it's over. I chose primary colors to show the "back to school" theme. My cardstock is all from MFT: Electric Red, Lemon Drop, Nightshift Blue, and Smooth White. I used Electric Red grosgrain, and Michael's brads. My paper is from the Simple Stories Summer Fresh paper pad.

TSG221-Fur Friends

How this card came to be, well...it started three or four weeks ago. Somewhere between life and migraines I got distracted and forgot all about it...literally...forgot. all. about. it.

So, when I sat down to make a card for this week's challenge, I remembered I already had this card and did the dance of joy a la Balki Bartokomous. Don't judge me, that show was crazy funny.

Anywho, I used Float My Boat, and I just LOVE this image. I forget some of the stamps that I have, and now that I "in theory" have more time to stamp, I need to start using them more. I used several MFT Die-namics: Catch a Wave Border Die-namics, Circle Stax Die-namics, Open Scalloped Doily Duo Dieonamics. My paper is from MME, and I used some red twine and Michael's brads.

This year has seen many changes for me. The end of a relationship, broken hearts, job changes, and my entry back into the wonderful world of dating...you know you envy me. Don't try to deny it. 

SO, if I seem absent, cross your fingers and hope he's worth it or I am making a ton of money. ;)

For my card today, I paired my Pick of the Patch stamp set with some yummy MME 6x6 paper. I used copics to color my image, and then layered it with Orange Fizz and Hot Fudge. We used the Leaf Filled Flourish Dienamics , as well as some Hot Fudge grosgrain, and hemp cord.
