Kraftin' Kimmie Day 4, and Some Challenges!

Welcome back to day FOUR of our JULY Kraftin' Kimmie Peeks!!! The awesome new stamps just keep on comin'!!

This week our hostess is AMANDA!! And her challenge is ANYTHING GOES!! So create a card, scrapbook page or altered item with a Kraftin' Kimmie stamp with no restrictions! For my card today, I paired this week's Anything Goes challenge along with this week's Crazy  4 Challenges challenge. I used the MME Happy Day paper pad, and colored my Summer Swingin' image with Copics on X-Press It blending card. She was layered with Orange Fizz, and I used Smooth White cardstock for my base. The circle panels I used were cut out with the Circle Stax Die-namics, and I embellished with Blu Raspberry grosgrain, and some Michael's brads. I did also use the MFT Branch with Leaves Die-namics to make it look like she was handing from a tree. It was cut out with Fossil cardstock.

Kraftin' Kimmie Day Three

Welcome back to day THREE of our JULY Kraftin' Kimmie Peeks!!! Today we are sharing ANOTHER cute new set by artist Cheryl Alger (because the two from yesterday just couldn't hold all the fun) and we're also previewing another GORGEOUS set from artist Thais Narciso! They are called.......GOOD SPORTS! and WOODLAND FRIENDS!!

I used the SUPER cute new Good Sports set, and colored my Lucas playing golf image on X-Press it blending card. My paper is from the Simple Stories Take a Hike paper pad, and I used Gumdrop Green, Orange Fizz, and Hot Fudge cardstock. Some brads from Michael's were used as embellishments, and I used the Small Open Scalloped Border Die-namics from MFT.

Kraftin' Kimmie Day Two

Welcome back to day two of our JULY Kraftin' Kimmie Peeks!!! Today we are excited to share TWO supah cute new sets by artist Cheryl Alger just in time for summer SPORTS!!! We are sharing samples featuring.......LIL' ATHLETES and YOU'VE GOT GAME!!

For my card today, I used the SUPER cute little karate Lulu from the Lil' Athletes set. I colored her with Copics, and then layered her with Wild Cherry and Black Licorice cardstock. My ribbon is Sweet Tooth from MFT, and I used Michael's brads, and a Creative Express spiral clip.

My second card uses Lucas from the You've Got Game set. I stamped him on X-Press it blending card, and then colored him with Copics. I used Not Quite Navy cardstock, and Banana Split. My base is Smooth White from MFT, and I used Michael's brads, hemp twine, and some MME Oliver paper.

Let the Kraftin' Kimmie Peeks Begin!!

It's time for Kraftin' Kimmie's JULY 2013 RELEASE!!!!! We've been dying to share this month's images with you!! We've got SO many exciting things going on....so let's get to it!

We are kicking off the *New* JULY Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps previews today and we're SO excited to share these new stamps with you from artist, Nicole Aspinall!!! Today we’d like to introduce you to these sweet image sets ….Flowers Feed the Soul and You're a Peach!

After the success of our awesome Trinket stamps, we're thrilled to share these fun image stamps we've designed!! You can create either clean and simple cards with them or much more elaborate designs!! And you'll see this in the amazing samples today!

For today's card, I started with a Smooth white cardstock base. I used some MME paper for the bottom, and added a border using the Open Scalloped Trio Die-namics from MFT. My sentiment was stamped on a piece of Fossil cardstock, and cut out using the Framed Greetings Die-namics. I colored my peaches on X-Press It blending card, and then popped them up under the sentiment. To add some more color, I used the Fresh Cut Grass Die-namics with Jellybean Green cardstock. To finish, I added some hemp cord at the top.

Making a Christmas card when it's 90 out...it feels wrong, but I do love making holiday cards, so whatever works...right??!

For my card, I used the Lexi's Winter Fun set. I used the Carta Bella Merry & Bright paper pad, and paired it with Smooth White, Red Hot, and Sour Apple cardstock. My buttons are Red Hot and Sour Apple, and my ribbon and white button are Sweet Tooth. My sketch is this week's Deconstructed Sketch.

I had an order for a card using this stamp, so I decided to make it and the challenge word together, right? I stamped my Priya stamp on X-Press It Blending card, and then colored ehr with Copics. I used some MME paper to paper piece her dress, and more on the base of the card. My flower is the Layered Rose Die-namics, and I used the Simply Scalloped Medium Die-namics for my twine. My ribbon is Black Licorice, and I used Michael's brads and a spiral clip.

Crazy 4 Words

Hey everyone, and happy Saturday!! It's time for another Crazy 4 Challenges challenge, and this week's challenge is to use words as the main focus on your card. I also decided to play along with the Mojo Monday challenge again, so be sure to head to the Mojo Monday blog to see what that's all about!! There She Goes is also a sponsor for the celebration, so I decided to use one of their sets!

If you decide to play along with us, all you have to do is create a card/project and upload it to your blog and/or to your SCS Gallery using the keyword C4C193. Don't forget to come back here and link it on Mr. Linky so that everyone else can see it too.

I used the Simple Stories 24/7 paper pad, and paired it with the There She Goes set, Chalkboard Memories. I stamped my sentiment with Black Licorice ink, as well as Electric Red. I cut out just the apple from the Electric Red sentiment, and colored the banner in with my Copics. I used the MFT Fishtail Flags Stax Die-namics, along with my Circle Stax Die-namics. The cardstock colors I used are Fossil, Black Licorice, and Electric Red. My buttons are Factory Green, Nightshift Blue, and Lemon Drop.

She was stamped on X-Press It blending card, then colored with Copics. I cut her out so that her umbrella was sticking out, using the out of the box technique! My paper is from the Simple Stories Vintage Bliss paper pad. I used the MFT Fishtail Flags Die-namics, along with the Circle Stax Die-namics. My Ribbon is Steel Grey grosgrain from MFT, and I used Michael's brads. For my cardstock colors I used Steel Grey, Smooth White, Bubblegum, and Banana Split(Bazzil).

TSG214-CASE a Trendsetter

Hey everyone, and Happy Independence Day!! I have had this card made for days, and wound up getting a migraine... I hate them so much. I'm trying to quit caffeine, and even though it never did anything wrong to me, I am super dependent on it, and I don't like that missing a morning cup of coffee or tea can send me into a migraine, so I will suffer through until I break the addicition...let's just hope it doesn't take much longer! I quit drinking diet soda of all kinds three months ago, and I feel better for it...in fact, it eliminated a TON of my headaches, but this no caffeine thing...ouch. I'm not sure I am tough enough, LOL

Anywho, my card is for this week's CASE a Trendsetter post over at There She Goes. I chose Tobi's FABULOUS card from this past release, and used the SUPER fun new This Is My Life set. I changed the colors, papers, shapes, and added buttons instead of sequins. I kinda love it a lot...like, a lot a lot.
