Kraftin' Kimmie Peeks Day Two

Welcome back to day two of our MAY Kraftin' Kimmie Peeks!!! Today we are excited to share TWO supah cute new sets by artist Cheryl Alger!!! Check out these fabulous summer sets!!! They're called.......SHELL ME A STORY and TOTALLY TUBULAR!!

My first card was made with the Totally Tubular stamp set. I love these super cute beach images, and had so much fun with them! My paper is from the Echo Park Hello Summer paper pad, and I used Sour Apple, Orange Fizz, Bubblegum, and Berrylicious cardstock. The card base is Smooth White cardstock, and I used Michael's brads and Sweet Tooth grosgrain.

For my second card, I used the SUPER FUN Shell Me A Story set. I LOVE THESE MERMAIDS!! I colored my scene with Copics, and then paper pieced her skirt with some MME My Girl paper. My waves were made with the Catch a Wave Die-namics and Berrylicious cardstock, and my "seaweed" was made with the Leafy Flourish Die-namics and Sour Apple cardstock. I used Michael's brads, and Bubblegum grosgrain on a spiral clip. My other cardstock colors are Smooth White, Orange Fizz, and Bubblegum.

Hey everyone, and happy Wednesday!! That means it is time for another Wednesday Stamp Club challenge from My Favorite Things! It's MY favorite sketch challenge!

For my card today, I used the new Happy Hello's Die-namics in Sour Apple cardstock. My card base is Smooth White cardstock, and I used the MME Memorable paper pad. I used the Fishtail Flags Stax Die-namics, Open Scalloped Doily Duo Die-namics, and the First Place Award Ribbon 

Die-namics. I embellished with Sweet Tooth Grosgrain, a Sour Apple button, hemp cord, and some Michael's brads.

Guess what???!! It's that time again........ time for Kraftin' Kimmie's MAY 2013 RELEASE!!!!! 

We are kicking off the *New* MAY Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps previews today and we're SO excited to share these new stamps with you from artist, Nicole Aspinall!!! Today we’d like to introduce you to these FUN SUMMERTIME image sets ….GOOD VIBRATIONS and SUMMER LOVIN'!!!

After the success of our awesome Trinket stamps by Nicole, we're thrilled to share these fun image stamps we've designed!! You can create either clean and simple cards with them or much more elaborate designs!! And you'll see this in the amazing samples today!

For my card today, I used the super cute new Good Vibrations set. I stamped my ice cream cone on X-Press It blending card, colored it with Copics, then cut it out using my MFT Oval Die-namics. I layered it with the Oval Open Scalloped Doily Die-namics in Orange Fizz. My other cardstock colors are Smooth White, Bubblegum, and Berrylicious. I used Sweet Tooth Grosgrain and Michael's brads to embellish my card. The paper I used is from the MME My Girl paper pad.

May-Release Rewind Day One

Hi, everyone! This month MFT is introducing a new event, Release Rewind, that will follow each month’s release. This gives the designers a great opportunity to use some products we might not have gotten around to using during the release. The amazing new MFT products that are available right HERE, right NOW in the MFT Boutique. To get all the details, be sure to stop by the MFT Blog. 

For my first card, I used a Smooth White Cardstock base. I cut out a heart using the MME My Girl paper pad, and the Heart Stax Die-namics. My sentiment from the Cheerful Blessings set was stamped on a piece of white cardstock cut out from the Designer Label 4 Die-namics. I added another heart from the Heart Stax Die-namics, and accented it with Michael's brads. My ribbon is Sweet Tooth Grosgrain, and I added a strip from the Dotted Scallop Border Trio Die-namics in Bubblegum.

For the inside, I used another sentiment from the Cheerful Blessings set. It was stamped with Black Licorice, and added some Pink Lemonade hearts.

For my second card, I once again used the MME My Girl paper pad. I accented it with the Dotted Scallop Border Trio Die-namics in Bubblegum. My ribbon is Sweet Tooth, and I used the new Happy Hellos Die-namics in Berrylicous. My buttons are Berrylicous, Bubblegum, and Sweet tooth and I used Hemp cord through them.

For the inside, I used another sentiment from the Cheerful Blessings set. I stamped the sentiment with Berrylicious ink, and added a heart with Pink Lemonade.

MFTWSC123-How's It growin'?

Hey everyone, and happy Wednesday!! That means it is time for another Wednesday Stamp Club challenge from My Favorite Things! It's MY favorite sketch challenge!

For my card today, I used the super cute new Pure Innocence-Farmer Girl.

She was stamped on X-Press It blending card, and then colored with Copics. I created a little scene using the Fresh Cut Grass Die-namics in Factory Green, and the new Farm Fence Die-namics in Kraft. My paper is from the MME Boy Crazy paper pad, and I paired it with Kraft, Hot Fudge, and Smooth White cardstock. I used some Orange Fizz buttons with hemp through them to embellish, along with more hemp and some Michael's brads.

May New Product Tour

That's right everyone, we have made it through teasers, and now, all the new sets are available in the My Favorite Things Store!!!! Before you go shop, be sure to hop around and see what all my fellow designers have been up to...they are TRULY one of the most talented bunch of women I have ever had the pleasure of working with. :)

This month, I am showing off the new Dandelion Wishes set, along with the Dandelions Stems and Toppers Die-namics. It is from our new Mona Pendleton Designs line, so congrats Mona!!! This set will sell for $17.95, and the Die-namics will sell for $24.95.

I started by inking my dandelion with Factory Green, Lemon Drop, and Hot Fudge ink. I used the new Vertical Frame Die-namics cut out of some MME paper, and Hot Fudge Cardstock. My image was stamped on Smooth White cardstock, then layered with the Hot Fudge. I added brads to the corners, and then wrapped some Hemp twine around it. My other cardstock color is Kraft, and I used buttons from MFT in Kraft, Sweet Tooth, and Hot Fudge to accent my card. To finish, I added a Sweet Tooth grosgrain bow, and some Dandelions Stems and Toppers Die-namics.

For the inside, I used the Dandelions Stems and Toppers Die-namics again, along with a Sentiment from this set in Hot Fudge, and I stamped the flower over it(stamped off once) with Kraft ink.

Final Day of MFTeasers!!

Here we are on our final night of My Favorite Things teasers, and we hope you have enjoyed them as much as we have!! It truly is awesome getting to read and hear your reactions to our new releases, after all, you are the reason we all do what we do!!

For my final teaser card this month, I paired three of the new Die-namics together-Accent It Feathers and Arrows, Chicken Wire, and Insert It-3x4 Notepad, with the new Document It-Right on Target. My paper is from the MME Memorable paper pad, and I used Smooth White for my base and sentiment. The sentiment was stamped with Steel Blue ink...I love that color SO much.  To embellish my card, besides the Feathers and Arrows Die-namics, I used Sweet Tooth grosgrain, a Sweet Tooth button with hemp through it, and a spiral clip. I am really starting to embrace the CAS look...who knew!

For the inside of my card, I used two more stamps from the Right on Target stamp set. The sentiment was stamped with Steel Blue, and I used Pink Lemonade for the heart target.

MFTeasers Day Six!!

Here we are on our sixth night of My Favorite Things teasers, and we have another fabulous day of gorgeous sets and Die-namics to show you!!

 For my card tonight, I started by stamping my sentiment from the new Chalkboard Greetings set in Versamark ink on Black Licorice cardstock. I embossed it with white embossing powder, then added some white shadow with a white colored pencil. I cut it out using the new Blueprints 3 Die-namics. The paper I used on my card is Echo Park Love Story. My card base and ribbon are both Smooth White cardstock, and I added my scallops with Black Licorice cardstock. I used two other dies for my card, the Layered Rose Die-namics, and the Large Fancy Flourish Die-namics. To finish, I added some Sweet Tooth grosgrain and Michael's brads.

For the inside, I used the new Cheerful  Blessing  set, along with another piece from the Blueprints 3 Die-namics in Black Licorice. My sentiment was stamped with Black Licorice ink, and my heart was stamped with Razzleberry.

MFTeasers Day Five!!

Here we are on our fifth night of My Favorite Things teasers, and we have another fabulous day of gorgeous sets and Die-namics to show you!!

For my card tonight, I paired the new Turtle Girl set with this month's Blueprints 3 Die-namics. I love them SO much!!  She was stamped on X-Press It blending card, and then colored with my Copics. The cardstock colors I used are Banana Split(bazzill), Smooth White, Sour Apple, Electric Red, and I paired them with Lilybee Designs Double Dutch. I used the Blueprints 3 Die-namics to cut out my cute cardstock bow, the rounded piece the girl is on, and the stitched ribbon piece across the front. The scalloped edge is also from the Blueprints 3 Die-namics, and I used a tag from that set of dies for my sentiment. My ribbon and button are both Electric Red, and I used hemp cord, and Michael's brads as well.

For my card tonight, I used the super fun Chocolate Sentiments set. I used it quite a bit for last month's release, but I couldn't help but to use it again. I paired it with the new Heirloom Label Die-namics, Vertical Frame Die-namics and the Dotted Scallop Border Trio Die-namics. My cardstock colors are Steel Grey, Electric Red, Bubblegum, and Smooth White. I used buttons in Steel Grey, Electric Red, and Bubblegum with hemp cord, and some Steel Grey grosgrain. My paper is from the Basic Grey True Love paper pad.
