***if you are here to see my Kraftin' Kimmie post, please scroll down or click here!! You won't want to miss it***

Hey everyone, and happy Wednesday!! That means it is time for another Wednesday Stamp Club challenge from My Favorite Things! It's MY favorite sketch challenge.

For my card today, I used the super cute Pure Innocence Little Santa set. I stamped him with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on X-Press It Blending card, and then colored him with my Copics. I paper pieced his sack with some Crate Paper Peppermint Collection paper. I cut my flags out of the Fishtail Flags Layers Stax Die-namics, and I added Michael's brads to those. My snowflakes are from the Let It Snowflake Die-namics, and I added Sweet Tooth buttons to the center using Peapod and Maraschino twine. For my sentiment, I used the new Decorative Circle Tag Stax Die-namics. I embellished it with Wild Cherry grosgrain, and hemp cord. My finishing touch was to add the Framing Flourishes Die-namics in Wild Cherry and Gumdrop cardstock.

For the inside, I used more of the same supplies.

Here are the Die-namics I have used:

Kraftin' Kimmie Previews-Day 1

We are kicking off the *New* DECEMBER Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps previews today and first off, we’d like to introduce you to a beautiful new set of Trinkets!!! We are very excited to share with you our GORGEOUS….CIRCUS TRINKETS!!!

What a FUN set of awesome new stamps....and I don't suppose it's going to be too hard to figure out what theme one of the artists worked with this month, hunh??

These circular sentiment stamps have been created and designed by the totally talented Krafty Girl, Nicole Aspinall!! They are made especially to fit in your 1 3/8ths and 1 ¾ inch punches, for quick and easy cutting!!! This month we are releasing the CIRCUS Trinkets set which includes EIGHT trinkets in each set with four of each size and they come as both positive and negative images, so you can use your black or brown ink with the positive stamps and use your coloured inks with the negative ones!! You will get the set as a completely unmounted full sheet of deeply etched grey rubber.

A lot of the Krafty Girls are cardmakers and we have found these to be such a quick and easy way to add a sentiment to our creations or to use as the focal point on your cards! They are also perfect for your Smashbook pages and your scrapbook pages, not to mention your altered items and tags!! No stamper's stash is complete without them!

Today we have awesome samples that the Krafty Girls have put together for you....and be sure to comment on each and every stop because one lucky stamper is going to WIN the new CIRCUS TRINKETS set!!! {And just WAIT 'til you see how they combine with our other NEW December stamps!!!}

Happy kraftin'!

I started out my card by stamping my Circus Trinket on X-Press It blending card, and then coloring it with my Copics. I then stamped my image from the Snips and Snails set on X-Press It blending card, and it was colored with Copics as well. My cardstock colors are Steel Grey, Orange Fizz, Berrylicious, and Sweet Tooth all from MFT. I used some MME Life of the Party paper, and used the MFT Western Star Border Duo Die-namics for my star border under the image. To finish, I used Michael's brads, Steel Grey Grosgrain, and a spiral clip.

Well, that is it for me for now! Have fun hopping!

TSG184-Warm Winter Wishes

Hey everyone! This week's challenge from There She Goes is called Tag, You're It, so tags it is! I was happy to get to play along, mostly because I can use all the tags I can get. I love putting them on gifts I have wrapped for Christmas, and my family loves getting them.

For my tags, I started by using the Snow Globe die to cut out my tag bases from Fossil cardstock. I then
cut some patterned paper from the MME Winter Wonderland paper pad to attach to the bases.

My images, from the Holiday Cheer set, were stamped on X-Press It blending card. I cut them out with my Circle Stax Die-namics from MFT, and then colored them with my Copics.

I then punched a hole at the top, and added a piece of White Twill ribbon from the Ribbon Carousel(May Arts), and Red Jute Twine with my sentiment tag. My sentiment is from the Penguin Love set.

Well, that is it for me for now! Be sure to check out the There She Goes blog to which of my fellow Trendsetters are playing along. Have a great day!!

For my card today, I decided to use the Snowy Day Lucas set. I just LOVE him, and it's so adorable seeing he peeking out from behind his snowman. I stamped him on X-Press It Blending card and then colored him with my Copics. He was then layered with Fossil cardstock from MFT. The base of my card  is Fossil cardstock, along with Paver Red from MFT, and the blue layer is actually from the Carta Bella Winter Fun paper pad. I used the Winter Fun paper pad for the rest of my card, as well. My embellishments are Paver Red Grosgrain, a Creative Express spiral clip, Michael's brads, hemp cord, and Paver Red, Sweet Tooth, and Sno Cone buttons from MFT.

My card is also for this week's Crazy 4 Challenges challenge, to use a snowman on your creation.

Up To Snow Good..

I don't personally love snow. In fact, I kinda hate it. It's pretty to look at, and makes the world look like a magical fairy land...then you step out in it and it's cold, wet, sticky, and gross. Bah Humbug, right?! LOL! With that said, I do LOVE snowmen, so the new Snowbuddies set from There She Goes is PERFECT for me, and for all you other snowman lovers out there. With over FIFTY stamps, you can create your own snowmen, or use the pre-made ones, but that's entirely up to you!! I decided to pair this super cute set with not only this week's There She Goes challenge(an Inspiration challenge), but with this week's I Spy SketchThis week we are featuring  Christine Okken ChristineCreations at SCS) and is inspired by this card.

I started by stamping my snowman on X-Press It blending card. It was just the body of the snowman, so I added the eyes and nose, and then did the hat on a separate piece of blending card, and cut it out. I colored it all with Copics, then cut it out with my Oval Stax Die-namics. My Fossil layer was cut out with the Oval Open Scalloped Doily Duo Die-namics. I used the Cosmo Cricket Mitten Weather paper pad for my card, along with Grapesicle card stock from MFT, and Gummybear from Bazzil. To finish my card, I used several, different embellishments. I used Michael's brads, White Twill ribbon from the Ribbon Carousel(May Arts), some hemp cord from MFT, the Let It Snowflake Die-namics in Sweet Tooth cardstock from MFT, and a Grapesicle button from MFT. Under my ribbon, I used another piece of the Cosmo Cricket paper, which was cut out with the Small Scalloped Border Die-namics from MFT. My sentiment is from the Snowman Sentiments stamp set, also from There She Goes.

Well, that is it for me for now  Be sure to check out the creations from my fellow I Spy Secret Agents, and the Trendsetters from There She Goes.

November Creative Challenge- Home Decor

The MFT Design Team Creative Challenge is a monthly feature, where we are challenged to explore our creative side using a specific theme, product, or technique. This month, we were challenged to create Holiday Home Decor using our MFT Stamps and Die-namics.  Be sure to check out the MFT Blog for a list of all participating designers who have a project to share with you today.

For my project today, I decided to do a wall hanging using a few Die-namics. What I LOVE the most about Die-namics is the fact that they make it so easy to create FABULOUS projects with out having to buy a fancy cutting machine!! I'm still cranking away at my old Cuttlebug, and I still LOVE it as much as I did when I first got it.

I started by cutting my stockings out of some Lilybee Designs Holiday Cheer paper, and out of Wild Cherry, Berrylicious, and Sour Apple card stock. I used one of the patterned paper for the front of my stocking, and the cardstock stocking as a backer to attach it to the ribbon using the Jumbo Stocking Die-namics. My ribbon is a combo of Wild Cherry, Berrylicious, and Sour Apple. At the top of the hanging, I used Sweet Tooth grosgrain to create a loop and bow.

For the tops of my stockings, I cut the scalloped part out of Sweet Tooth cardstock, my holly berries out of Wild Cherry, and my holly leaves out of Sour Apple.

To add my Ho Ho Ho to the stockings, I used the High-rise Uppercase Alphabet Die-namics. I cut it out of my cardstock colors-Berrylicious, Wild Cherry, and Sour Apple. My finishing touch was to add snowflakes using the Let It Snowflake Die-namics in Sweet Tooth, which I added a Michael's brad to.

Here are the Die-namics I used:

Well that is it for me for now! Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day!! Be sure to check out the My Favorite Things blog to see a full list of designers participating in today's challenge!
