MFTWSC97- Snuggle Time

Hey everyone, and happy Wednesday!! That means it is time for another Wednesday Stamp Club challenge from My Favorite Things! It's MY favorite sketch challenge!

For my card tonight, I used the a la mode Hot Cocoa Cutie set, paired with some Be Merry paper from MME. I used Jellybean Green, Wild Cherry, and Pink Lemonade cardstock for my base, along with Sweet Tooth for my white panel. My border was cut out with the Little Open Scalloped Strip Die-namics, and Jellybean Green cardstock. I tied hemp cord around that panel, and then added my flags using the Fishtail Flags Layers Stax Die-namics, and the First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics.

For the inside, I have used more of the same supplies.:)

Here are the Die-namics I have used:

For my first card, I used the new Stitched Stockings set, along with the new Stocking Trio Die-namics. The stockings were cut out of some Lilybee Designs Christmas Cheer paper, and then popped up on the new Decorative Circle Tag Stax Die-namics, I made mine look like an ornament by cutting it out in Sweet Tooth and Fossil cardstock, then using the Mini Scalloped Edge Die-namics to make it look the the Fossil was a topper. Wild Cherry ribbon and hemp cord were tied through the top to make it look like it had a hanger, too!  I used buttons and cardstock in Berrylicious, Gumdrop Green, and Wild Cherry for my card base, and to accent my stockings. On my card base, I used the new Wild Cherry ink pad to stamp my sentiment, some Michael's brads, and the Fishtail Flags Layers Stax Die-namics for my patterned paper flags. To finish, I added a flourish using the new Medium Fancy Flourish Die-namics...love love LOVE it!!!

For the inside, I used another stocking, and another saying from the set stamped with Wild Cherry.

For my second card, I started out going clean and simple, but well, you know me!! I stamped my dots from the Darling Dots stamp set in Wild Cherry on Sweet Tooth cardstock, and then added some cute buttons in Sweet Tooth and Gumdrop Green with either Peapod or Maraschino Twine through them. My sentiment from the Stitched Stockings set, was stamped on a flag made with the Fishtail Flags Layers Stax Die-namics  in Wild Cherry ink. I added a Wild Cherry button to my flag, and a Medium Fancy Flourish Die-namics in Wild Cherry as well. My only other embellishments are brads from Michael's.

For the inside, I used more of the same supplies.

TSG180- HoHoHo

I don't normally get into the Christmas spirit this early, but I have been in a bit of a funk lately, and needed some cheering up....who better to cheer me up then the SUPER adorable Santa from the There She Goes Hohoho set!! It was time for this week's There She Goes challenge, anyway, so I used that as yet ANOTHER excuse to cheer me up, not that I needed one!

This week's challenge was to Dress Up Your Coloring, so I started by coloring my Santa with Copics on X-Press It Blending card. To dress it up, I used a Sakura Glaze Pen to cover all the white on Santa's outfit, and a silver glitter pen to cover his belt buckle. If you enlarge the photo below, you can see the shine on the buckle and his trimming! I used the MFT Banner Day Die-namics to create my banner. It was made using my cardstock colors in Gumdrop Green, Berrylicious, Sweet Tooth, and Wild Cherry(all from MFT). My paper is from the Lilybee Designs Christmas Cheer paper pad. I followed this past week's Tuesday Morning Sketch, but I did add the ribbon, which is Sweet Tooth Grosgrain, and Maraschino Twine. My only other embellishment is brads from Michael's.

Well, that is it for me for now! Be sure to check out the There She Goes blog for more details on this week's challenge, and to see which one's of my teammates are playing along!

KKS153-Holiday Cheer

Happy Saturday crafty peeps!! It's time for this week's Kraftin' Kimmie challenge...and well, the Krafty Girls are making a scene!! Not literally, but I wouldn't put it past this crazy bunch of girls!! We are creating a scene using our Kraftin' Kimmie stamps, and whatever else we need to make them. This week's hostess is Melanie, and she used Meowy Christmas, so that is what this week's prize will be!!

For my card tonight, I used the GORGEOUS Nettie stamp set. She is the PERFECT party hostess, complete with bottle of wine, so I had to give her a sparkly dress!! She was stamped on X-Press It Blending card, and then colored with my Copics. I added the sparkle to her dress using my Sakura Glitter pen...I wanted it to look like sequins. The wood floor was hand drawn in with my Copic Multiliner pen. I layered my image with Black Licorice cardstock, and embellished with some bling swirls. My ribbon is Silky Crushed ribbon in black from the Ribbon Carousel, and I used Michael's brads, hemp cord, and a spiral clip as well.  For the base, my paper is from the MME All is Bright paper pad, which I paired with Cranberry Crisp and Fossil cardstock.

Here is a close up picture of my image, so you can see some of the sparkle!

Well, that is it for me for now! Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day! Be sure to check out the Krafty Blog for a full list of girls playing along this week!!!

Crazy 4 Anything But a Card

This week's challenge at the Crazy 4 Challenges blog was to make anything but a card...so I made more tags! Not only are tags SUPER simple to make, they add so much to a gift you are giving...makes them more personal, yes?

For my tags, I started by cutting the tag bases with the MFT Tag You're It Die-namics and some Sweet Tooth cardstock. I used the MME Christmas pad, and some Black Licorice cardstock for my paper strip. The Fancy Flourish Die-namics in Gumdrop Green and Wild Cherry embellish the tag bases, along with some Gumdrop Green Grosgrain, Charcoal Twine, and Red Jute Twine.

My images are from the There She Goes No Peeking set. I stamped them on circles cut from X-Press It blending card, and then colored them with my Copics. They were cut out using the MFT Circle Die-namics.

Well, that is it for me for now! Thank you so much for stopping by, and have a great day! Be sure to stop by the Crazy 4 Challenges blog to check out my teammates AMAZING projects!!

I used the Thankful Leaves Die-namics along with some MME All Spice paper pad. My cardstock colors are Ocean Mist(PTI), Orange Fizz(MFT), and Hot Fudge(MFT). On the base of my card, I used more of the MME paper, the Small Open Scalloped Border Die-namics, some Michael's brads, and hemp cord. To embellish my card, I also used the Medium Leafy Flourish Die-namics in both Hot Fudge and Ocean Mist.

For the inside, I used more of the same supplies. I also used some Sage Shadow ink from SU to stamp my leaf .

The other Die-namics I used were the Rounded Banner Trio Die-namics for my half circle at the top, the Simply Scalloped Medium Die-namics for my scallops, and the Fishtail Banner Die-namics for my banner.

October Creative Challenge-Banners

Hey everyone!! It's time for the My Favorite Things Creative Challenge. The MFT Design Team Creative Challenge is a monthly feature, where we are challenged to explore our creative side using a specific theme, product, or technique. This month, we were challenged to create a custom banner using our assortment of STAX Banner Die-namics.  Be sure to check out the MFT Blog for a list of all participating designers who have a project to share with you today.

For my banner, I decided to go with a winter theme, so SNOW it is!!

I started by cutting my flags from the Jumbo Fishtail Banner Die-namics out of Fossil cardstock. My paper for the layer on the flags is from the MME Be Merry paper pad.

Next, I used the 3/8ths Rosette Die-namics and my other cardstock colors: Wild Cherry, Pink Lemonade, Berrylicious, and Jellybean Green. I cut the die cut pieces in half to create my rosettes. Then I added a button in either Wild Cherry, Berrylicious, Pink Lemonade, and Jellybean Green, with hemp cord tied in them.

Underneath my rosettes, I used the Fancy Flourish Die-namics in my cardstock colors, and added brads to the corners. My letters were cut out with the High-rise Alphabet Uppercase Die-namics in Sweet Tooth.  I also used the Let It Snowflake Die-namics to add some snowflakes in all my cardstock colors as well.

On each end of the banner, I used two different Pure Innocence sets: Frosty and Fabulous, and Holiday Hugs Snowman. They were both stamped on X-Press It blending card, and then colored with my Copics. To finish, I threaded a piec of Hemp Cord through the tops of all the panels, and tied double bows on each end.

Here are the Die-namics I used:

Well that is it for me for now! Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day!! Be sure to check out the My Favorite Things blog to see a full list of designers participating in today's challenge!
