MFTWSC84-You Amaze me

Hey everyone, and happy Wednesday!! That means it is time for another Wednesday Stamp Club challenge from My Favorite Things! It's MY favorite sketch challenge!!

For my card today, I used the super cute new EMT Girl set from the My Favorite Things Pure Innocence line. I stamped her on X-Press It Blending card, and then colored her with my Copics. She was then layered with Taken with Teal(SU), Red Hot, and Black Licorice. I paired her with the Authentique Celebrate paper pad. My dots are from the Double Dot Border Die-namics. I used MFT buttons in Red Hot, Sweet Tooth, and Black Licorice. I tied Charcoal Twine through them, and added some brads from Michael's, and a spiral clip with some Black Licorice Grosgrain. To finish, I used the Lead the Way Die-namics for my sentiment.

For the inside, I used more of the same supplies.

We encourage you all to play along, and to enter your card in the weekly draw for a $15 gift voucher to the MFT Boutique. Simply follow the sketch and create a card or other paper creation. You may use any stamps and supplies that you wish. Each week, a keyword is assigned to the sketch. August New Product Tour!!!

That's right everyone, we have made it through teasers, and now, all the new sets are available in the My Favorite Things Store!!!! Before you go shop, be sure to hop around to all the designers and leave them some love! You never know who has the candy!!

I told you the other day that one of the new a la modes was near and dear to my heart, and here it is: 80's girl!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE her!!! I have been waiting rather patiently for her to come out, and I am SO happy she is finally here, rocking her leg warmers and side pony tail!!

For my card, I stamped her on X-Press It blending card, and then colored her with my Copics. She was then layered with Wild Cherry, Orange Fizz, and Black Licorice cardstock. I used the Basic Grey Offbeat paper pad for the background. For my sentiment, I used the Designer Labels 4 Stax Die-namics, and to accent it, I used one of the Lead the Way Die-namics arrows. To finish my card off, I used the Black Licorice Grosgrain, and some Maraschino Twine.

For the inside, I used the same supplies as I did for the outside.

For my card tonight, I used the Clearly Sentimental about Audrey Hepburn set. I stamped my sentiment on Sweet Tooth cardstock, and cut it out with the Designer Label 4 Die-namics. I used the Wavy Edge Border Die-namics under my flowered paper, but you can't really see it, lol. My flowers are the new Layered Rose Die-namics, and my flourishes are the Medium Leafy Flourish Die-namics. I cut both the flowers, and flourishes out of my Basic Grey Urban Prairie paper pad. My cardstock colors are Cameo Coral(SU), Blu Raspberry(MFT), and Black Licorice(MFT). For my embellishments, I used Michael's brads, and Black Licorice Grosgrain.

For my card tonight, I paired Loads of Love with my Basic Grey Nook&Pantry paper pad. I paper pieced her dress and apron, and colored the rest with my Copics. My scallops were made with the Small Open Scalloped Border Die-namics. I used Hot Fudge Grosgrain, Michael's brads, and a Creative Express spiral clip. My sentiment was cut out with the Sentiment Strips Die-namics, but I made it a little shorter. The cardstock colors I used are Lemon Drop, Hot Fudge, Sweet Tooth, and Baja Breeze(SU).

My embellishments are Black Licorice Grosgrain, Honeydew Twine, and Michael's brads. For my sentiment, I used the new Designer Labels 4 Die-namics, and I used the new Double Dots Border Die-namics for the background. To finish, I added an arrow from the Lead the Way Die-namics.

For my sentiment, I used Memento Rich Cocoa ink. To embellish my card, I used Michael's brads, the Small Scalloped Die-namics, Blossom Twine, Orange Fizz Grosgrain, and Bubblegum Grosgrain.

For my card I paired the Clearly Sentimental about Grandparents set with this week's I Spy sketch. I stamped my sentiment on Sweet Tooth card stock, and cut it out using the new Designer Labels 4 Die-namics. My flower is the new Layered Rose Die-namics, and my flourishes are the Medium Leafy Flourish Die-namics. They were both, and the paper on the base of my card, cut out of some MME Six by Six A Beautiful Life paper pad. My brads are from Michael's. My cardstock colors are Almost Amethyst, Orchid Opulence(both SU), and Fossill(MFT).

For my first card, I used the Mouse in the House-It's Your Birthday. I actually used the supplimentary image for my card, and not the mouse. I stamped my little birdie and balloon on X-Press It blending card, and then colored him with my Copics. My cardstock colors are Fossill(MFT), Orange Fizz(MFT), Sweet Tooth(MFT), and Rose Red(SU). I paired it with the MME Six by Six Vanity Fair pad. My border, which reminds me of clouds, is the new Triple Scallop Border Die-namics, and I used the Sentiment Strips Die-namics for my sentiment. TO finish, I used the Orange Fizz Grosgrain and Michael's brads.

For the inside, I used the same supplies.

My second card uses the Inspired by the Front Porch-Fall set. I stamped my rocking chair with Memento Rich Cocoa ink on X-Press It blending card. I used Colorbox chalk ink for my sentiment. The main image was cut out using the Oval Stax Die-namics, and layered with the Decorative Doily Oval Die-namics. My cardstock colors are Hot Fudge(MFT), Jellybean Green(MFT), River Rock(SU), and Sweet Tooth(MFT).  I paired it with the MME Six by Six All Spice pad. For my embellishments, I used the Medium Leafy Flourish Die-namics paired with the new Layered Rose Die-namics. My ribbon is Walnut Seam Binding from the Ribbon Carousel, and I used Michael's brads. The wave on my paper was created with the new Wavy Edge Die-namics.
