Now for my card!!

For my card tonight, I used the GORGEOUS new Eliza set from the Old Hollywood collection! I stamped her on X-Press It Blending card, and then colored her with my Copics. She was paired with Banana Split, Black Licorice, and Kraft card stock from MFT. I used some of the MME Lost&Found Two Sunshine paper pad. My border wash made with the Faux Crochet Border Die-namics, my flowers are the Mini Rolled Royal Rose Die-namics, and I used the Royal Leaves Die-namics. My sentiment is one of the new Birthday Trinkets, which was stamped on Kraft with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

To finish my card, I used the Black Vintage Seam Binding from the Ribbon Carousel, and some Michael's brads. I added the detail shot so you could see the glitter I put on her parasol, skirt, bows, and feather. It is SUPER sparkly in real life, but doesn't always translate to photograph!

Well, that is it for me for now! You are ALMOST done with the hop...off to the blog of our fearless leader, and all around FABULOUS person, Kimmie's Blog!!

Have fun on the hop!!

Not only is it another day of release peeks for Kraftin' Kimmie, but it is ALSO time for the Saturday challenge at both Kraftin' Kimmie and Crazy 4 Challenges. It worked out pretty well that the two were able to go together for me!

The Crazy 4 Challenge's Challenge is a sketch challenge that you see below. I did slightly tilt the center panel, but the rest is pretty spot on ;).  Kraftin' Kimmie's challenge this week is called "Lots of Dots". The sketch with it's circles, and me with my fun paper and paper piercing and brads....I think I got it!!

The sets we are revealing today are Old Hollywood Inspired, and I am DYING they are so much FUN!! This is Debbie, and she's a showgirl just trying to SHINE!!!

I paired her with the Lilybee Designs Victoria Park paper pad. I stamped Debbie on X-Press It Blending Card, and then colored her with my Copics. I added some Diamond Glaze to her SHINE, and some glitter to her feather, and outfit! My ribbon is from the Ribbon Carousel, Black Satin Scalloped Edge. I used Michael's brads, and the Circle Stax Die-namics from MFT for my circles.

TSG164-Feel Better Soon

This week's There She Goes challenge is being hosted by our Trendsetter of the Week, Wendy!! She has challenged us to make a card or project using faux or real stitching/sewing. I tried, I swear I did, to sew around the edges of my paper, but I am DEFINITELY going to need more practice with it, lol!

Instead of doing actual stitching, I used the There She Goes set, Stitches. I paired it with the new Get Well Wishes set. The paper I used is from the MME Out of the Blue paper pad. It was co-ordinated with Sour Apple, Orange Fizz, Sweet Tooth, and Black Licorice card stock from MFT. I also used the MFT Sentiment Strips Die-namics for my saying, and Black Licorice Grosgrain. The only other supplies I used are Creative Express spiral clips, and silver brads from Michael's.

Well, that is it for me for now! Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day!

Christmas In July Creative Challenge

Hey everyone, and welcome to this month's My Favorite Things Creative Challenge!! Tonight, we are celebrating Christmas in July!! MFT has a TON of AWESOME Christmas stamp sets, and some super cute dies to help you with all your Christmas card making needs. I got REALLY into making my card for tonight's post, that I decided to make two!

For my first card tonight I used the Ski Bunny à la mode set. I stamped her on X-Press It Blending card, and colored her with my Copics. She was then layered with Sno Cone, Red Hot, and Jellybean Green card stock from MFT.

Her ski's and jacket were paper pieced with some MME Be Merry paper. I also used the Snow Flakes Die-namics, and layered them together to make my embellishments. I used some large Michael's brads to keep them together, and then added flourishes using the Fancy Flourish Die-namics in Jellybean Green and Red Hot.

For my sentiment,  I used the Sentiment Strips Die-namics, and some more of the large Michael's brads. For some added interest, I used Liquid Applique under her feet and skis to look like snow.

For the inside, I used more of the same supplies, as well as the Small Scalloped Border Die-namics

For my second card, I used the same paper pad(MME Be Merry) and cardstock colors(Jellybean Green, Sno Cone, and Red Hot). My girl from the Cocoa Cutie à la mode set was stamped on X-Press It Blending Card, and then colored her with my Copics.

I paper pieced her mug, and then added Liquid Applique to the marshmallows to make them nice and fluffy!

For my sentiment, I used three different Die-namics: The Mini Doily Die-namics in Jellybean Green for the base, Snowflakes Die-namics out of some of the MME paper for my layered snowflake(attached with a small brad), and the Sentiment Strips Die-namics.

For the inside, I used more of the same supplies, including more of the Sno Cone Grosgrain ribbon that I also used on the front of the card.

Here is the Die-namics I used:

Well, that is it for me for now!! Head to Kim's Blog for a full list of Designers playing along today, and have a great day!!

Isn't that SUPER exciting!!

I made this card to celebrate Lisa joining the MFT family, and I KNOW she will be a PERFECT 10!! Her first stamp set will be released August 7th, and we are SUPER excited!!

For my card tonight, I used the ADORABLE Pure Innocence Gymnast Girl. She was stamped on X-Press It Blending card, and then colored with my Copics. I paper pieced her suit with some Authentique Delightful paper. I paired it with Bubblegum, Sour Apple, Sweet Tooth, and Orange Fizz paper. My ribbon is Sweet Tooth Grosgrain from MFT, and some Honeydew Twine was used as well. Did you SEE the yummy new buttons from MFT? They are died to match the cardstock perfectly, so I used Bubblegum, Sour Apple, and Orange Fizz buttons! My only other embellishments are brads from Michael's.

For the inside, I used more of the same supplies.

Here is the Die-namics I used:
