Hey everyone, and Happy Friday!! It is a HAPPY Friday indeed, because in a few short hours, I will be on my way to Tennessee, then Georgia to meet up with some of my fellow stamping friends, Jessica Diedrich and Pam Varnell....SO EXCITED I CAN'T EVEN SLEEP!!

Sorry, I am a little amped up, can you tell?! Anyway, it is time for another I Spy Sketch Challenge, and the girl's and I are LOVING this week's sketch! It was originally done by the FABULOUS Julia Stainton (Julia S @ SCS). This is the card that it's based on :)

I used the ADORABLE Jungle Out There set just released from There She Goes. It was stamped on X-Press It Blending card, colored with Copics, and then cut out. I used MME Lime Twist Fly a Kite paper, along with Hot Fudge, Orange Fizz, and Sour Apple card stock. My brads are from Michael's, and my ribbons are Orange V Striped Twill and Brown Satin Edged Grosgrain, both from the Ribbon Carousel.

MFTWSC67-Vertical Greetings

Hey everyone, and happy Wednesday!! Since it is Wednesday, it is time for another Wednesday Stamp Club challenge from My Favorite Things!!

For my card tonight, I used the Vertical Greetings set and matching Die-namics. I stamped my sentiment with Tuxedo Black ink, and then cut it out with the Die-namics. I added large silver brads from Michael's to the top and bottom of it. My paper is from the Lilybee Designs Victoria Park pad. I used Black Licorice and Cotton Candy card stock. For my scallops, I used the Scalloped Ribbon Die-namics. I cut it out with my Cuttlebug, and then cut it in half and used one half at the top and bottom of my paper panel. My flourishes were made with the Fancy Flourish Die-namics, and then my flowers with the Rolled Rose Die-namics, and Mini Rolled Rose Die-namics. To finish, I used some Black Vintage Seam Binding.

For the inside, I used more of the same supplies, and a sentiment from the Clearly Sentimental about Sympathy set.

Here are the Die-namics I used:

Well, that is it for me for now!! Be sure to check out MFT Blog for a full list of designers participating in today's sketch!!

Baby Shadow Box

Hey everyone, a!! A couple weeks ago, it was my turn to do the Stampbook Saturday post for There She Goes. My project isn't really a Stampbook page, but it WAS based on a card, so I say it counts. My family was having a benefit for my cousin's baby, and this was part of what I gave them to auction.

First of all, I used Iwona's card as inspiration. I loved the funky panels, so I wanted to try to repeat that pattern.

I used the Bear Hugs set, and stamped all four images separately, and cut them out.I added various buttons, with Jute Twine in them. My paper is the Echo Park Boy's Life, and I used Orange Fizz and Sour Apple card stock from My Favorite Things. My letters are thickers from American Crafts.

Well, that is it for me for tonight!!Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day!

April Creative Challenge-Mom

Hey everyone, and welcome to April's Creative Challenge with My Favorite ThingsOur Design Team Creative Challenge is a monthly feature, where we challenge our design team to explore their creative side using a specific theme, product or technique. This month, "It's all about Mom"

For my card, I used the super cute a la mode- All Star. I stamped her on X-Press It Blending card, and then colored her with my Copics. Her pants were paper pieced with some of the MME On The Bright Side One paper. I used the Banner Day Alphabet to stamp MOM on her shirt, and the number one on the flag as well. I hand drew in the number symbol. I used the Banner Strip Die-namics for my Mom Banner, which was cut out of Night of Navy, and more of the MME paper. My hearts were cut out of Wild Cherry from the Notched Tag Die-namics. I used brads from Michael's to attach my sentiment, and decorate my card. My ribbon is the Wild Cherry Grosgrain sold by MFT, and I used a Creative Express Spiral clip. On the base of my card, I used the Open Zig Zag Border Die-namics. My other cardstock color besides Wild Cherry and Night of Navy is Spring Moss from PTI. Finally, I added my sentiment from the Clearly Sentimental about Mothers set with the First Place Award Die-namics.

For the inside, I used the same supplies, and two more sentiments from the Clearly Sentimental about Mothers set. The Mini Banner Day Alphabet was stamped on my hearts, as well. At the bottom, I left the top of my panel open to create a pocket for a gift card! My mom is the kind of mom that has EVERYTHING she wants, so I give her gift cards, mostly, so she can buy whatever she happens to find along the way, lol!

Here are the Die-namics I have used:

To start, I used Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch from this week. I needed yet another sympathy card, and the layout was perfect for the image I wanted to use. My stamp set is Bloom from There She Goes. It has some of the most GORGEOUS flower images I have every had the pleasure of using, They are STUNNING! I paired it with a sentiment from the Here For You set. My image was colored with Copics, and then layered with Hot Fudge Cardstock. To get my fancy edge, I used the Clearly Sentimental Label Die-namics. I cut my white layer out with it, and then hand cut my Hot Fudge layer to match. My sentiment was cut out with the First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics, and my background is the new Fishtail Flags Stax Die-namics with MME On the Bright Side Two paper. I used Walnut Seam Binding from the Ribbon Carousel, Michael's brads, and a Creative Express Spiral Clip. My other card stock colors are Sweet Tooth, Orange Fizz, and Blu Raspberry, all from MFT.

For my card tonight, I needed to make a sympathy card...I actually need several of them. They make me sad to make, so I only make them when I need them. I started by stamping my Inspired By Flowers 2 image on Sweet Tooth, and lightly colored parts of it with my Copics. I then stamped my sentiment from the Clearly Sentimental about Sympathy set on Sweet Tooth, then cut it, and it's Pacific Point layer with my Circle Stax Die-namics. My Dizzy Doily Die-namics layer was cut out with Black Licorice. My paper is from the Authentique Journey pad. I used Michael's brads, Seam Binding from the Ribbon Carousel, and the Faux Crochet Border Die-namics.

For the inside, I used another sentiment from this set, and the same supplies.

Here are the Die-namics I used:
