When I think "Take Note", I think...note cards, so that is what I did!! I created this super simple, but SUPER fun set of note cards using only things that were included in this month's kit.

Each card was slightly different, based on color and sentiment, but I tried to use up a LOT of my goodies from this kit.

My sentiments all came from the new Vintage Dreamer set, released to co-ordinate with this month's kit. It is still on sale, and will be til the 10th of March to KI subscribers at 50%off, then will be available for the rest of the year!

These note cards measure 4x4, and were all made with Bazill Card Stock from the February Kit. The flowers, ribbon and pearls were all also from this month's kit.

Here are some details about the Key Ingredients kit, in case you aren't a subscriber!!

To celebrate this new set, Jessica has had us all hard at work creating cards for a SPECIAL Blog Hop Challenge! Not only are some of the TSG girls participating, but we are being joined by the other AMAZING stampers that have gathered with us this weekend!

Are you ready for this???

Our new set is called Ba Donkey Donk, and for all you snarky, tongue in cheek stampers out there, THIS is the set for you!! With three different styles of donkey's, and 9 AMAZING sentiments to go with it...really, there ISN'T an occasion you can use these for!!

I used some Orange V Striped Twill from The Ribbon Carousel, silver brads from My Favorite Things, and a spiral clip from Creative Express. I also used the Open Scalloped Border Die-namics from MFT for my border.

Would you like to win the new Ba Donkey Donk stamp? Here is what you need to do- visit the Trendsetter’s, and Guest's blogs that are participating in each of the blog hop challenges below and comment on their creations as you go. One of the Trendsetter’s blogs (from each hop day) will be randomly chosen as the ‘it’ blog and a winner will be picked using a random number generator from the comments left on that Trendsetter’s Blog Hop Challenge post. February Creative Challenge- Baby

***scroll down, or follow this link, to see my Ribbon Carousel Challenge!!***

This month's Creative Challenge from My Favorite Things is something that EVERYBODY needs at some point in their life...whether for themselves, a family member, a son or daughter, co-worker....today, we are all about BABIES!!

We are being featured on the SCS home page, so be sure to head to our SCS Forum for a look at every one's creations !!

When it comes to baby cards, I always go with soft colors...pastels, mostly. Most of the time when you sit down to make a baby card, you usually know what sex the baby will be...but for my card tonight, I went with a pink and blue theme....and boy, did I have fun!!

For this week's card, I decided to go with one of our There She Goes Again sets: Special Delivery!! I haven't used this set in FOREVER, so it was SUPER nice to get it out and play with it!! I LOVED Jen's Sketch For You To Try for this month, so I decided to use it, too! I stamped my image on X-Press IT Blending card, and then colored it with my Copics. I stamped my hearts separately on several different pieces of MME Lime Twist Happy Go Lucky paper. I paired it with the challenge colors, or the closest I had to them!! I used SU Rich Razzleberry, and then Jellybean Green and Cotton Candy. My image was layered with the Open Scallop Doily Die-namics. For my side panel, I used clear Heidi Swapp Hearts, the MFT Button Die-namics, and some Blossom Twine from the Ribbon Carousel. I also used the Ruffled Edge Sheer Ribbon from the Ribbon Carousel. To finish it off, I added some silver brads from Michael's and my sentiment which was punched out with SU oval punches.

Sweet Sunday Guest Designer- aka. ME!!!

A little over a week ago, Karen Giron emailed me and let me know that I had won the chance to be her guest designer for the next Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge...and I am STILL bouncing off the walls about it!! I work with Karen on the There She Goes AND My Favorite Things design teams, and have admired her work for SO long!! I've been playing in her sketch challenges for awhile now, so this was SUPER exciting for me!!

Then, I open the sketch and was even MORE excited!! I always get nervous because I have incredibly bad luck sometimes...I just NEW it was going to be all angles, and no layers...thank you Karen for NOT torturing me, LOL!!
