It's VIP Time!!

Hey everyone, and welcome to this month's VIP New Product Tour with My Favorite Things!

If you aren't familiar with the VIP Package it is a LIMITED QUANTITY product (NOT a one-day product - it will be available until it sells out), that allows you the opportunity to purchase new, unreleased sets TWO weeks early. Normally, we release the new Who's That Girl for the VIP package, but this month, we decided to change it up!! Instead of Who's That Girl, you will get TWO new Pure Innocence sets!! This month's package is:

Pure Innocence Jump for Joy stamp set
Pure Innocence Plane Amazing stamp set
In the Air Sentiments mini (VIP exclusive stamp set - will never be offered for sale or be available again $9 value, FREE)
Rolled Scallop Flower Die-namics Die

Awesome, right??!! Let's get to my card!!

For my card tonight, I started by stamping my PI Plane Amazing girl on X-Press It Blending Card. I then colored her with my Copics, and layered her with Bashful Blue, Red Hot, and Night of Navy card stock. My paper is from the Echo Park Times & Seasons pack. For my clouds, I used the Cloud Trio Die-namics, and for a little fun, I used the You Move Me Die-namics to make my little planes. The ribbon I used is from the MFT Red Collection, and I also used some Maraschino Twine. I love the interest the Wonky Scalloped Border Die-namics adds, so I used it for my border....so cloud like and fun. My brads are from Michael's and my spiral clip is from Creative Express. To finish it off, I used the First Place Award Die-namics to cut out my sentiment.

For the inside, I used more of the same supplies, and dies, and more of the paper. I also used another sentiment from this set.

Here are the Die-namics I have used:

Well, that is it for me for now!! Be sure to check out Kim's Blog for a full list of designers participating in today's post!!

More Tags!!!

I am definitely in Christmas mode, so I wanted to throw together some more gift tags! I haven't actually started wrapping, yet, but soon, lol!!

I started with the MFT Clearly Sentimental About Christmas set. I stamped three of the sentiments(two times each) on Vanilla card stock, and then cut it out with my Framed Greetings Die-namics. I then used the Holiday Ornaments Die-namics to cut out my flowers and leaves with Cranberry Crisp and Jelly Bean Green. For the centers, I used gold brads from SU. My tags were cut out using the Tag You're It Die-namics out of Fossil card stock, and then added some Signature Christmas paper from MME, and a Small Open Scalloped Border Die-namics in Cranberry Crisp. For my ribbons, I used Eggshell Seam Binding, and Jute Twine from the Ribbon Carousel. LOVE that place!!

Well, that is it for me for tonight! Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day!!

I have made more tags this year than I think I have in my entire life, and I LOVE it!! I have used several to decorate plain white gift bags, and attach to special gifts, and it has made decorating SO MUCH EASIER!!

For my tags tonight, I used the Love Birds set, but I gave them a little HOLIDAY twist! I paired it with a sentiment from the Holly Jolly set, and created a Christmas tag that I LOVE. My birds and music notes were stamped on X-Press It Blending card, and then colored with my Copics. I then layered my images with Wild Cherry and Wild Wasabi...wild. LOL! My paper is from the Holly Jolly Christmas pad from Echo Park. I used the MFT Tag You're It Die-namics to make my tag bases. My buttons are from Wal-mart, and my red ribbon is from MFT. I also used some Peapod Twinery from the Ribbon Carousel.

Well, that is it for me for now! Thanks for stopping by! Hopefully life will calm down, and it won't be so long between posts again!!

MFTWSC50- Happy Holly-Days

Hey everyone, and happy Wednesday!! Since it is Wednesday, it is time for another Wednesday Stamp Club challenge from My Favorite Things!!

For my card tonight, I started by stamping my Pure Innocence Holly Girl on X-Press It Blending card, using Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and then colored her with my Copics. Her dress was paper pieced with some MME Holly Jolly paper. I know I do it a lot, but I love paper piecing the bottom half of my PI's dresses...so fun! For the circle under my image, I used the Dizzy Doily Duo Die-namics and some more Holly Jolly paper. For the base of my card, I used Fossil, Jellybean Green, and Cranberry Crisp card stock. My scalloped border was made with the Small Open Scalloped Border Die-namics. I added my sentiment tag, with the MFT Dog Tag Die-namics die, and some Ivory Seam Binding from the Ribbon Carousel. My other ribbon is the Ivory Looped Edge Grosgrain ribbon from the Ribbon Carousel as well.

December Creative Challenge-It's a Wrap!!

Hey everyone, and welcome to this month's My Favorite Things Creative Challenge!!

In 2011, MFT is working harder than ever to inspire you, and we have come up with something we think you'll really enjoy. Our Design Team Creative Challenge is a new monthly feature, where we challenge our design team to explore their creative side using a specific theme, product or technique. This month, "It's a Wrap" Be sure to check the MFT Blog for a list of all the designers who have creative gift solutions for you today!

I know it isn't a new, innovative idea, but I decided to do tags for today!! Nothing adds to a package, or gift bag, the way a hand made tag does. The best part about them is that they can be mass produced. Not every tag has to be different, and to save you time and trouble at the holidays, it's the way to go!! Gift tags, the NICE ones, can be UBER expensive, too!! I'm not normally a fan of mass production, but tags are such a small scale, that it doesn't bother me at all!!

What I did first was decide on WHAT set I wanted to use, and I went with Santa Baby. I then decided what style, colors, and layout I wanted to use. That allowed me to cut out all the pieces with my Cuttlebug and Die-namics: Christmas Ornaments, Tag You're It, and First Place Award Ribbon. I then stamped my images, colored them with Copics, and layered them with Jellybean Green. From there, it was easy!! My ribbon is from MFT, and my Jute Twine is from the Ribbon Carousel. I had 6 tags done in about a half hour....and I spent half of that cranking on the Cuttlebug, LOL!!

Here are the Die-namics I used for my tags:

Well, that is it for me for now! Be sure to check out the MFT Blog to see which other designers are participating in today's teasers.

My tags also work for this week's Ribbon Carousel Challenge, so be sure to check that out as well!!

December Product Tour!!

Hey everyone, it's finally here!!! Tonight is the November My Favorite Things New Release!! You have (not so, lol)patiently waited through all 7 days of teasers, and now it is FINALLY time to SHOP!! But before you do that, it is time for this month's New Product Tour! We are no longer having blog hops, but all the designers are working SO hard to show you all the sets being released tonight, so be sure to head to Kim's Blog for a list of who, what, and where!!

Tonight, my job is to show you the new Pure Innocence Good Fortune set...possibly my most FAVORITE yet!! I spent 5yrs on Okinawa with my family(Dad was in the Army), and I used to do home exchanges through the girl scouts there. Some of my most fond memories from living there, are going on these home visits, going to the Japanese festivals, and being dressed in a kimono...those things are HARD to walk in, and don't get me started on those un-comfy wooden shoes!!

For my card tonight, I started by stamping my girl on X-Press It Blending card, and some MME Sunshine paper. I paper pieced her kimono, and colored the rest with my Copics. My card stock colors are Black Licorice, Fossil, and So Saffron. I cut my flower out with the new Fringed Perennial Die-namics. I used the Double Scalloped Border Die-namics for my scallops, and the First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics for my sentiment. My ribbon is Black Seam Binding from the Ribbon Carousel. My brads are from Michael's.

For the inside of my card, I used more of the same supplies, and another sentiment from this set.

This little cutie pie sells for $9.

Here are the Die-namics I used:

The Cherry on Top is earned when you spend $150 before shipping and tax, earning you $15 off your order. Once that amount is hit, the coupon code will pop up on your screen, which you can write down and then apply to your order in your shopping cart. If you remove things from your cart, making it fall below $150, the coupon code will be removed automatically.

Also, remember that SOMEONE out there is giving out blog candy, and the BEST way to win, is to comment on ALL the designers blogs!! Good luck!!

Now, off to Kim's Blog for a full list of designer's participating!! Happy Stamping!!
