I layered it with Baja Breeze, Kiwi Kiss(SU), and Hot Fudge. My ribbon is from the Ribbon Carousel, and my brads are from Michael's. I used the Bracket Tab Die-namics for my sentiment, and the Simply Scallops Medium Die-namics for my scallops.

For the inside, I used more of the same supplies, and another sentiment from this set.

Well, that is it for me for now!! Be sure to check out Kim's blog for a full list of designers participating in today's sketch!!

Forgotten Stamp Friday 30...

Happy Friday everyone!! Since it is Friday, it is time for Forgotten Stamp Friday.

If you aren't familiar with this challenge, it is a personal challenge that I have posed to myself to make me use some of my un-inked, unused, and neglected stamps. The only rule is that it has to have been un-inked or owned for 6 months. Digi images count, as well...we tend to collect those, and then never use them, too! If you decide to play along, just be sure to enter your name in the Mr. Linky, and when uploading to an online gallery, use the keyword..FSF30!!!

For my card tonight, I used my neglected, but OH so love, à la modes - Miss You a Latte! I stamped her on X-Press It blending card, and then colored her with my Copics. I also paper pieced the cups, which was SO fun, using the new My Mind's Eye Lost&Found Two Rosy paper. I layered her with So Saffron(SU), Dusty Durango(SU), and Black Licorice(MFT). My ribbon is from SU, and I used another flourish made with my Fancy Flourish Die-namics. My sentiment was stamped on my Bracket Tab Die-namics. I cut one out of white and the Black Licorice, and then layered them together by cutting off the top of the white layer JUST a little. The brads I used are from Michael's. You can't really see it, because I covered it up, but I used the Open Bracket Border Die-namics, as well. Sketch wise, I used Jen's Sketch For You To Try. LOVE it!

For the inside, I used more of the same supplies, and another sentiment from the set.

Well, that is it for me for now! Thanks for stopping by, and I can't wait to see if you play along! If you do, just leave a link in the comments so I can find it!!

RCC16- Danielle's Sketch

Hey everyone, and welcome to this week's Ribbon Carousel Crew challenge. This week, Danielle is challenging us to use one of her “go to” sketches as this week's Ribbon Carousel Challenge (RCC16).

And this week, we’re being joined by the Design Team of our sponsor, AMBER INK! AmberInk is giving one randomly selected participant a $15 Gift Certificate to their store!
AmberInk was started by a mother and daughter team. Amber lives in the East, Pam lives in the West. Amber is an Emmy nominated children's animator and illustrator, who creates from her Brooklyn, New York studio. Although they do carry some clear stamps, the company runs by the premise that their customers are more brilliant than patient. If you've been a diehard clear or rubberstamper, they can even help you with the transition to digital. And don't worry about asking a silly question, because as a retired public high school teacher, Pam has already seen it all. Check out the ever-increasing tutorial links, which you can find on the homepage. Hailing from the Hawaiian Islands, the Aloha Spirit is alive and well at AmberInk.com.

Your creation can be anything from cards, quilts, sewn items, paper crafts, paintings, anything will work!

*** Please remember that your creation must include ribbon, bakers twine, jute twine, lace (basically anything that comes on a spool). ***

For my card, I used the SUPER CUTE new Get Your Thong On set from There She Goes. I stamped my Thongs on X-Press It Blending card, and then colored them with my Copics. I then layered it with Orange Fizz, Wild Cherry, and Hot Fudge card stock(all from MFT). My paper is from the Basic Grey Life of the Party pack. I used Cherry and Brown Sugar Twine, Michael's brads, and an SU punch for my sentiment. For my tab up top, and flags, I used the MFT File Tab Die-namics, and First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics.
Well, that is it for me for now! Be sure to head to the RCC blog to see what the other girls have created for tonight's challenge!

CPS and MFT...POW!!!

Hey everyone, sorry for the lack of posts, but my headaches are keeping me borderline dysfunctional, and are ZAPPING my mojo! I finally MADE myself make a card today, and was surprised that I DIDN'T hate it. Anytime I MAKE myself stamp, it's never good.

This week, My Favorite Thing is sponsoring the Card Positioning Systems sketch challenge. I loved the sketch, so I HAD to play along!

For my card, I started by stamping the SUPER CUTE new Pure Innocence- Karate Boy on X-Press It blending card, and then colored it with my Copics. I then layered it with Fossil and Black Licorice. I paired it with some MME Lost&Found Two Sunshine paper. I used some Charcoal Twine, and Linen Thread, and added a bare spiral clip in the corner. For my sentiment, I cut out a pennant from the First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics, and then repeatedly stamped my Hi Ya! and Pow! sentiments. My stars were cut out using the Stacking Stars Die-namics.

For the inside, I used another sentiment from this set, more of the YUMMY DP, and I also added some more of my stars. My border is the Star Border Die-namics.

Well, that is it for me for now! Thanks for stopping by, and have a GREAT day!
