Shake It, Shake It...nope.

So it's Saturday, which would mean it is time for another Crazy 4 Challenges challenge. This week's challenge was to make a shaker card.....ugh. I tried and failed 4 times, and finally had to give up. My fellow crazies are ALL OVER this challenge, but me....I just couldn't do it. I started a new job this week, and my OCD is in overdrive. None of my shakers were NEARLY good enough by my standards, so I decided to make a card, PRAISE my sistah's , and move on....sorry, I suck. :)

For MY card tonight, I started by stamping the SUPAH CUTE new Claire Keay- Ahoy Matey stamp on X-Press It blending card. I then colored it with my Copics, and layered my image with Baja Breeze, More Mustard, and Not Quite Navy. My paper is from MME Stella&Rose Hattie pack. I used it to cut out my waves, using the My Favorite Things Catch a Wave Die-namics. I also used the Sunshine Die-namics, and more of the paper for my sun. For my Pirate flag, get it...P is for pirate, I used the Typewriter Alphabet and the Fishtail Banner Die-namics. I then used the First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics for my sentiment. My ribbon is from SU, my brads are from Michael's.

Well, that is it for me for now. Be sure to head to the Crazy blog to see what the other girls...who don't suck at shaker's, came up with.

Forgotten Stamp Friday 28

Happy Friday everyone!! Since it is Friday, it is time for Forgotten Stamp Friday. If you aren't familiar with this challenge, it is a personal challenge that I have posed to myself to make me use some of my un-inked, unused, and neglected stamps. The only rule is that it has to have been un-inked or owned for 6 months. Digi images count, as well...we tend to collect those, and then never use them, too! If you decide to play along, just be sure to enter your name in the Mr. Linky, and when uploading to an online gallery, use the keyword...FSF27.

I started by stamping my squirrel from the There She Goes set, You're So Punny. I stamped it on X-Press It Blending card, and then colored him with my Copics. I then layered him with Snow Cone, Jelly Bean Green, and Fossil. My paper is from the Basic Grey Archaic paper pad. I used SU wide ribbon, and some Linen Thread. All my buttons are from PTI. My brad's are from Michael's, and I used SU punches for my sentiment.
Well, that is it for me for now! Thanks for stopping by, and I can't wait to see if you play along!

*** Please remember that your creation must have ribbon, bakers twine, jute twine, lace (basically anything that comes on a spool). ***

For my card this week, I started with the new Pure Innocence- PI and the Pinwheel. She was stamped on an X-Press It Blending card, and then colored her with my Copics. I then layered her with Berrylicious, Wild Cherry, and Summer Sunrise(PTI). My paper is from the Cosmo Cricket Togetherness pack. I used a mixture of SU, MFT, and Basic Grey buttons. TSG116- Christine's Colors....

Happy Monday, my lovelies!! For those of you still coming to my blog(oh where, oh where, did my followers go), it is time for another There She Goes challenge!! This week our featured Trendsetter Christine is challenging us to use a beautiful color combination of Soft Yellow, Chocolate Brown and Baby Blue!

To be eligible for the giveaway, you are to create a card that uses the colors provided, and then come back to the TSG Blog to add your name and a link to your project in the InLinkz that is located at the bottom of this challenge post. This challenge is open until the winner has been announced on the following Monday (July 25). The winner will get a $5 gift certificate to use in the TSG Web store!

By participating in this challenge, you may also find yourself in the Trendsetting Spotlight that shines on the TSG Blog every Thursday. We will be on the look out to find challenge cards that stand out and show Trendsetting qualities. TSG stamps are not required to participate in the challenges but are appreciated :)

You do not need to have a blog to be able to participate in the TSG Challenges! You can simply add the URL link from your project after it has been uploaded to your online craft gallery.

For this week's card, I started with an image from the new Make a Splash set. I stamped her on X-Press It Blending card, and then colored her with my Copics. Her tail was paper pieced with some yummy MME Fine&Dandy Little Boy Blue paper. I then layered her with MFT cardstock in Sno Cone, Banana Split, and Hot Fudge....my favorite cardstock EVER!!! I followed my fellow Trendsetter, Karen's, sketch. She hosts the Sweet Sunday Sketch...and it is ALWAYS one of my favorites to play along with!! I used more of the same paper, some Cappuccino Twine, Michael's brads, and SU ribbons. My sentiment is from the the Fairy Wishes set, and it was punched out with the SU Modern Label Punch.
Well, that is it for me now! Hope to see more of you around commenting...I'm starting to worry that I have BO or something....do I offend???hehe!!!

Crazy 4 Challenges-Joy Fold Card

Hi everyone and happy Saturday. It's time for another Crazy 4 Challenges challenge, and our challenge hostess Cindy has another fun challenge for you. Today we are making Joy Fold Card's. Here is a Tutorial for you Joy Fold Card!!

If you decide to play along with us, all you have to do is create a card/project, and upload it to your blog and/or to your SCS Gallery using the keyword C4C96. Don't forget to come back here and link it on Mr Linky so that everyone else can see it too.

For my card tonight, which I have to say...I kinda LOVE, I used the new Fred Bear Takes a Hike set. I stamped him on X-Press It blending card, and then colored him with my Copics. I then cut him out...which was NOT fun, but looks so CUTE! My paper, which just MAKES the card, is MME Fine& Dandy Little Boy Blue. I paired it with Sno Cone, Orange Fizz, and Hot Fudge. I used the new You Move Me Die-namics to make some tiny clouds...don't they look SO CUTE with that paper??!! (pats self on back, hehe) Seriously, though, I used Michael's brads, and the modern label punch from SU.

For the inside, I used the grass stamp, and another saying from the set. I am REALLY against showing my work on the inside...I don't know why, so I had to cover both the orange small panel, and the brown panel on the side(as well as the back, but you can't see that), but it's not required...it's just my OCD, lol. One other thing you should know, I used the Square Card measurements that Beate gives in her SCS tutorial. That means that I started with a 4 1/4x6 1/4 base. The instructions are at the bottom of her post.

Well, that is it for me for now! Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day! Be sure to check out the other Crazies to see what they have been up to!

A Bella/Stella Mojo Forgotten Stamp Friday

Happy Friday everyone!! Since it is Friday, it is time for Forgotten Stamp Friday. If you aren't familiar with this challenge, it is a personal challenge that I have posed to myself to make me use some of my un-inked, unused, and neglected stamps. The only rule is that it has to have been un-inked or owned for 6 months. Digi images count, as well...we tend to collect those, and then never use them, too! If you decide to play along, just be sure to enter your name in the Mr. Linky, and when uploading to an online gallery, use the keyword...FSF27.

I also played along with this week's Mojo Monday sketch, and Bella Friday post to use a Stella or Bella.

For my card, I stamped my Leaning Tower of Stella on an X-Press It Blending card, and then colored it with my Copics. She was then layered with Cotton Candy, Sour Apple, and Wild Cherry card stock from My Favorite Things. I used two different SU ribbons, and some yummy MME Lime Twist. I used some Michael's brads, and a Creative Express Spiral Clip.
Well, that is it for me for now! Thanks for stopping by, and I can't wait to see if you play along!
