CPS222- I Love You..

This week, My Favorite Things is sponsoring Card Positioning Systems. Here is the sketch, CPS222. I LOVE the main image panel on this...perfect for a cute little PI, or one of the WTG....the sky is the limit!! Be sure to follow the link to the CPS site to play along, there's a prize involved!! ;)

For my card, I started with this month's new release, Pure Innocence-Rose. I stamped her on an X-Press It blending card, and then colored her with my Copics. She was layered with Hot Fudge. My paper is from Echo Park, Life is Good. I also used Banana Split, and Pink Lemonade card stock. My ribbon is from MFT, and SU...my brad's are from Michael's. I used the Rounded Banner Trio Dienamics for my sentiment....ya, I know, it changes the sketch...I'm a rebel.

For the inside, I used more of the yummy Echo Park Paper, another sentiment from the set, and a Open Scalloped Border Die-namics strip, as well.
Well, that is it for me for now!! Today, the other BRAVER girl's from the MFT design team are playing with paint, so be sure to check THEM out. I am a BIG chicken...and I admit it!

Dream....and Some Challenges

I finally convinced myself that I HAD to stamp, so I did what I always do when I feel sort of blocked...I found a sketch!! This week's Mojo Monday sketch was super easy, and fun, and allowed for a small image panel, so that worked for me, since I have TORTURED my right hand at work this week(think bone bruising, burning, and carpal tunnels). I hadn't played in this week's There She Goes challenge, either, so I decided to play in that, too.

This week our challenge is brought to us by our Trendsetter of the week- Angela! She has challenged us to make a card for a lifetime milestone like a special birthday, a wedding, graduation, birth, etc.

To be eligible for the giveaway, you are to create a milestone card/project, and then come back to the TSG Blog to add your name and a link to your project in the InLinkz that is located at the bottom of this challenge post. This challenge is open until the winner has been announced on the following Monday (June 13th). The winner will get a $5 gift certificate to use in the TSG Web store!

By participating in this challenge, you may also find yourself in the Trendsetting Spotlight that shines on the TSG Blog every Thursday. We will be on the look out to find challenge cards that stand out and show Trendsetting qualities. TSG stamps are not required to participate in the challenges but are appreciated :)

You do not need to have a blog to be able to participate in the TSG Challenges! You can simply add the URL link from your project after it has been uploaded to your online craft gallery. If you upload your card to an online craft gallery, please use the keyword TSG110 so we can check out your beautiful work!

I started by using the SUPER CUTE Polka Dot Pals set, designed by our AMAZING illustrator, Torico. I stamped it on an X-Press It Blending card. It was then colored with Copics, and layered with MFT Sno Cone, and Blue Raspberry, and SU Rich Razzleberry. My ribbons are both MFT(discontinued), and my brads are from Michael's. I used the MFT Simply Scallops Medium Die-namics to make my scallops. The paper I used is from the My Mind's Eye Lime Twist Happy Go Lucky collection.
Well, that is it for me for now!! Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day!

MFTWSC23-You Add....

Hey everyone, and happy Wednesday!! Since it is Wednesday, technically, it is time for another Wednesday Stamp Club challenge from My Favorite Things. I LOVE that we have went to an all sketch format, and I know I say that A LOT, but I really really do!! Enough of all that, on to my card!!

For my card tonight, I used the SUPER CUTE new Pure Innocence- My Little Firecracker set. I stamped my girl on an X-Press It Blending card, and then colored her with my Copics. I then layered her with Fossil cardstock. I used the Stacking Stars Die-namics to add a star to my sparkler and to my card....I know, I know, but at her age, I was SCARED TO DEATH of sparklers...if they had looked more like fairy wands, I might have been ok, lol! I so desperately wanted to write my name in the air with one, but alas, I cried when they tried to make me hold them. Such a wienie, I was, lol. My other card stock colors are Sno Cone, and Wild Cherry. I used the new Simply Scalloped Large Die-namics, and the First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics. My ribbon is from SU, brads from Michael's, and my spiral clip is from Creative Express. I used one of my favorite paper packs, Lilybee Designs This& That.

For the inside, I used the rest of my sentiment from the front, that I cut apart. I used more of the pretty paper, and the same scallops from the front of my card.

Well, that is it for me for now! Thanks for stopping by and have great day! Head on over to Kim's blog to see a list of the other designers participating today, and to the MFT forum on SCS for more details as well!!

June My Favorite Things HOP!!

Hey everyone and welcome to this month's My Favorite Things Blog Hop and Shop!! Everything is available in the store now...so I'm pretty sure you are reading this AFTER you have shopped, lol!! This month's release was full of GORGEOUS and FUN sets, and some of them most AWESOME Die-namics EVER!! Kim and her crew work so hard to bring you some of the most fresh and fun products, and I am THRILLED to get to work with them and show them off here!! Speaking of Kim, if you didn't start there, better head on back to HER BLOG, it's the beginning!! Don't forget to leave some love in the form of comments along the way...you never know where the Blog Candy is hiding!!!

What better to show off on a hop, than my favorite bunny and yours, FLOPSEY!! This month, Sunbathing Flopsey is chilling out, and soaking up some sun....sounds like a plan to me!! This set sells for $9, and is full of cute and clever little sayings, two of which I am showing today!! I started by stamping Flopsey on an X-Press It blending card, and then I colored him/her with my Copics. I used Fossil cardstock to create my sand, and then layered the whole image with Pink Lemonade, Banana Split, and Orange Fizz cardstock. I used the Sunshine Die-namics to create my sun with some Echo Park Sweet Summertime paper. I used two different ribbons I bought a while back from MFT, and some spiral clips from Creative Express. My sentiment was cut out using part of the First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics....expect to see this A LOT!! My DP, most of which I covered up(I hate it when I do that), was cut out using the Ric Rac Die-namics.

For the inside of my card, I used the AWESOME new Rainbow Die-namics. The only thing I DON'T like about this die is the fact that EVERY TIME I see it, I start singing the Kermit the Frog version of the Rainbow Connection...the lovers, the dreamers, and MEEEEEEEE.....sorry. I also used the Flat Bottom Clouds Die-namics, and the other piece of the sun I cut out earlier.

Well, that is it for me for now! Hope you enjoyed what I created, and are having a great time on the hop!! Next stop, JOANNE'S BLOG.....now THAT chick is SUPER talented!! Hugs, and have fun !!
