MFTWSC19-When We're Together...

Hey Everyone!! It is Wednesday, so that means it is time for another Wednesday Stamp Club challenge held by My Favorite Things. This week's sketch is another amazing one, so let's get to it!!

For my card today, I used the super cute new Jolinne Perfect Harmony set. I cut out a piece of X-Press It Blending Card with my Four Point Frame Die-namics. I then stamped my images, and then colored them with my Copics. I hand cut out a layer in Hot Fudge, to give it a border. For my banner, I used the Banner Day Die-namics, and the Musical Notes Die-namics. My card stock is Hot Fudge, Spearmint, and Groovy Guava(SU). My paper is from the MME Lime Twist Life of the Party paper. I used some MFT ribbon, and Cappuccino Twine for my banner.

For the inside, I used the same supplies as I used on the front of the card.

Well, that is it for me for now! Thanks for stopping by and have great day! Head on over to Kim's blog to see a list of the other designers participating today, and to the MFT forum on SCS for more details as well!!

RCC2 and May's Creative Challenge!!

Hey everyone and welcome to this month's Creative Challenge from My Favorite Things, as well as my FIRST EVER post as part of the new Ribbon Carousel Challenge Crew!! I am THRILLED to be a part of my dear, sweet, whip cracking friend- Corinna's, new team, and wish her all the success in the world for her new venture!!

This month's creative challenge from My Favorite Things is to make a Monochromatic Colored card....YIKES!! I was SO scared, as were a LOT of my design teammates, but seriously, this technique is SUPER easy and STUNNING...if you ask me!!

As for the Ribbon Carousel challenge, here are all the details!!

This week we’re talking shabby... vintage... shabby chic!!!

How are you going to get chic? With lace, ribbon, crochet, seam binding of course!!! Pull out those pretties that we all have (and I’m sure hoard) and use them on your card, scrapbook page, 3D project....any creation will do! Add some texture to your creation, perhaps with distressing, using your embossing folders, sponging. Make that lace pop!!
*** Please remember that your creation must have ribbon, bakers twine, jute twine, lace, seam binding (basically anything that comes on a spool).***

For my card today, I started by stamping my Flappers Hold Me Tight image on a piece of X-Press It Blending card. I then colored my image using only my W1, W3, W5, and W7 Copics. Seriously, isn't that the coolest thing EVER??!! I then layered them with Black Licorice. My DP is from the Lilybee Designs This&That pack. I used my new Decorative Doily Duo for my layers under the image, and then used the Perfect Petal Trio Die-namics for my flowers. I rolled them up in my hand, and then added a filigree flower brad to the center of them. My ribbons are from May Arts and from MFT.

For the inside, I used more of the same supplies, another sentiment from the set, and I stamped the image as well. For my scalloped layer, I used the Dizzy Border Die-namics.

Well, that is it for me for now!! To see a list of other designer's playing along in this month's creative challenge, be sure to head on over to Kim's blog.

For more details, and to see other samples from my Crew Mates, and to play along, head on over to the Ribbon Carousel Challenge blog!!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

It is time for another Crazy 4 Challenges challenge, and this week's challenge was to make a card or project using LOTS of flowers. Well, I don't know if I used lots, but there are flowers!! LOL! If you want to play along, here are all the details!

They say that ‘April showers bring May flowers’, so let’s see lots of flowers on your creations...If you decide to play along with us, all you have to do is create a card/project, and upload it to your blog and/or to your SCS Gallery using the keyword C4C86. Don't forget to come back here and link it on Mr Linky so that everyone else can see it too.

For my card tonight, I started by stamping my flower from the My Favorite Things set, Flower Silhouette. I then colored it with my Copics, and layered it with Baja Breeze and So Saffron. The paper I used is from the Lilybee Designs This and That pack.

For the inside, I used more of the paper, but used my Flower Silhouette Die-namics to cut out a couple of flowers. My sentiment, still from the CS about Mom set, was cut out, and layered, using the Sweet Stack Die-namics.

Forgotten Stamp Friday-Week 21

Hey everyone, and welcome to Forgotten Stamp Friday!! Not familiar with this challenge...well, you should be!! Every week(except last week where I TOTALLY flaked, sorry!!!), I challenge myself, and all of you, to make a card using your poor, lonely, dusty, unused, forgotten stamps. I feel guilty with the sheer VOLUME of stamps that I own in comparison to what I ACTUALLY use, so this challenge is one that helps me to ease my guilt a little. There are NO rules, just that you
a)PLAY ALONG
b) use a stamp that is either unused or owned and un-inked for 6 months
c) come back and add yourself to the linky thingy so I can see what you've done
d) be sure if you upload to SCS, that you use the keyword FSF21...that way I can find you!!

For my card tonight, I stamped my Pure Innocence- Bunch of Blooms image on a piece of X-Press It Blending Card. I then colored her with my Copics, and layered her with More Mustard, Baja Breeze, and Night of Navy. I used the MME Stella and Rose Hattie collection. My brads are from Michael's, my ribbon from SU, and I used the Perfect Petal Trio to make my flower. My sentiment is from the Clearly Sentimental about Mother set.

Well, that is it for me for now!! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!! Don't forget to add yourself to my linky thingy.

My Favorite Things Hop and SHOP!!!

Hey everyone and welcome to this month's My Favorite Things Blog Hop and Shop....we are SUPER excited this month at MFT, and hope you are, too!! SOOOOO many yummy new sets, and don't even get me STARTED on the new Die-namics....um, YUMMY!!!

As always, tonight's hop started at Kim's Blog....if you are here now, you should have come from Barbara's FABULOUS Blog...she is SO TALENTED!!!!

Tonight I have a card to share with you using last month's Triple Scoop set -Clearly Sentimental About Success. The Triple Scoop is an awesome promotion that runs every month. All you need to do to qualify is to buy three full sized sets (or six smaller sets) and then add the Triple Scoop set to your cart - Voila! Free! This month's Triple Scoop set is Clearly Sentimental about Friendship...and you need it, you want it, you gotta have it...so best to just do the right thing and BUY BUY BUY!!! ;)

For my card tonight, I started by stamping my sentiment, one of my FAVORITES...who am I kidding, I love them all....on a piece of GP white card stock. To make it super thick, I cut out two extra layers using my Textile Rectangle Die-namics, so it would be more sturdy. :) I used some YUMMY paper from the Lilybee Designs- Picket Fence pad. I paired it with Cranberry Crisp(yes, I still have a TON), and Snow Cone. I then used the Stacking Stars Die-namics to cut out several different stars to add to my card both inside and out. My brads are from Michael's, and my ribbon is also from MFT.

For the inside, I used more of the same supplies, and some more of my stars. For my sentiment, I cut it apart, and stamped it as a layered sentiment, rather than all on the same line. I'm a rebel...;)

Well, that is it for me for now!! The next stop on the hop is the FABULOUS Arlene's Blog....she is SURE to have something breathtaking and AMAZING. Have fun, and don't forget somewhere, somebody has some blog candy so you better leave a comment!!!
