MFTWSC11- Rainy Day Friends

Hey everyone, it is time for another My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club challenge!! I am still LOVING the all sketch format that we are now using...so FUN!!

For my card, I used an older Stephanie Fizer set, Rainy Day Friends. I just LOVE this cutesy little frog!! I paired it with some My Mind's Eye Fine and Dandy paper. I stamped my image on a piece of X-Press It blending card, and then colored it with my Copics. I cut it out after coloring it, and then applied it to my main panel. I used dimensionals to make my umbrella POP off the page. My cardstock is Saffron, Sno cone, and Orange Fizz. Both the ribbons I used are from SU, and my brads are from Michael's.

Well, that is it for me for now!! Be sure to head on over to Kim's blog for a look at the other designers participating in the challenge today!! Thanks for stopping by!!

Crazy 4 Challenges- Trees

Hey everyone, and welcome to this week's Crazy 4 Challenges challenge. This week's challenge is being hosted by my dear sweet friend, Silke Ledlow. Her challenge to us was to make a card with a tree on it!
If you would like to play along with us, all you have to do is create a card/project, and upload it to your blog and/or to your SCS Gallery using the keyword C4C78. Don't forget to come back here and link it on Mr Linky so that everyone else can see it too.

For my card, I started with a Mojo Monday sketch from two week's ago. I stamped my image from In All the World on an X-Press It Blending card, and then colored it with my Copics. I then layered it with Crushed Curry, Wild Cherry and Baja Breeze. My pp is from the Cosmo Cricket Early Bird line. I used the MFT Perfect Petal Trio Die-namic for my flower, but I took my paper snips, and cut the petals in farther so they would be more pronounced. My ribbon, twine, and button are all from MFT, brads are from Michael's.
Well, that is it for me for now! Be sure to blurf around and see what the other crazies have been creating for you!!

Forgotten Stamp Friday-Week 14

Hey Everyone, and welcome to this week's Forgotten Stamp Friday challenge!!

If you aren't familiar with the Forgotten Stamp Friday challenge, it's a challenge I pose to myself, and all my friends and readers to make a card or project using a stamp that hasn't been used or has been owned and NOT used for at least six months. You don't have to post ON Friday to play along, so don't worry about that, just have fun, and be sure to leave a link so I can jump around and see what you have been up to!! Don't forget to use the keyword FSF14 when uploading to your online gallery!!

For my card today, I started with this past week's Sketch Saturday sketch. My image is one of the first Pure Innocence images released, My Basket of Eggs. I just LOVE her cute little self!!! She was stamped on an X-Press It Blending card, and then colored with my Copics. I then layered her with Banana Split, Pink Lemonade, and Sour Apple. My pp is from the MFT Spring Collection...available as a paper pack AND as a Digi pack!! I used MFT Spring buttons with some Blossom Twine threaded through it. My brads are from Michael's, and my ribbon is MFT and some that Jody Morrow sent to me a LONG time ago....I just love her ribbon collecting heart!!

For the inside, I used more of the same supplies, and a sentiment from the Bunch of Blooms set.
Well, that is it for me for now. Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you decide to play along!!

My DP is from the SU Summer Picnic pack, and I used SU ribbons. My buttons are a mix of SU and MFT, and I added some Maraschino Twine, which I purchased from MFT. My sketch is from the Stamping 411: Saturday Sketch Challenge.

MFTWSC10

It is Wednesday, so it is time for another Wednesday Stamp Club challenge. I wasn't sure about this sketch, but once I started working on it, I FELL in love!! SO CUTE!!

I started by stamping my image from the new One Sweet Chick Pure Innocence set on an X-Press It Blending Card. I then colored it with my Copics. Instead of ribbon, I added a strip of grass cut out of some old MFT felt using the Fresh Cut Grass Die-namic. My cardstock is Sno Cone, Celery, and Crushed Curry. My DP is from the Cosmo Cricket Early Bird collection. My ribbon is from MFT, as well as my twine. I used the Button Quartet Die-namic for my buttons, both inside and out, and the Dainty Dots Border Die-namic, as well.

For the inside, I used more of the same supplies, and another saying from this new set.

Well, that is it for me for now. Be sure to head off to Kim's Blog to get all the details for this week's challenge, and to see a list of all the designer's participating today.
Thanks for stopping by!!

March Creative Challenge-Die-namics Home Decor

Hey everyone, and welcome to this month's Creative Challenge from My Favorite Things. This month, Joanne has challenged us to make a home decor item using some of our WONDERFUL Die-namics.....I almost died when I saw it. You all know by now, that I don't "do" altered items, so I knew this was going to be hard. In fact, I think I told Joanne(numerous times) that she was trying to kill me, and I MAY have said something about getting an ulcer...so what, I'm a drama queen. Sue me!!! LOL!!

My project DID not kill me, and in fact, I actually kinda like what I made!! I started by getting a frame out of my stash....it's one I found on sale at Kohl's for 80% off...what a deal!! I then covered the back with some Garden Variety paper from Cosmo Cricket. I then added a strip of SU ribbon down the center. My main image is the super cute, Oh Baby à la mode, which I stamped on an X-Press It Blending Card, and then colored with my Copics. It was layered with Crushed Curry and Red Hot.

My sentiment is from the Clearly Sentimental About Parenting set, which I LOVE. I cut it out using the Polka Dot Frame Die-namics, and then hand cut a Red Hot layer around it. To add some interest to the frame, I used the Heart's a Plenty Die-namic, and Button Quartet Die-namic. I cut SEVERAL different pieces of the Garden Variety paper and the card stock colors mentioned above. I added some twine to the buttons, too.

Well, that is it for me for now!! Thanks for stopping by and be sure to head to Kim's Blog to see a list of the other designers participating in today's challenge.
