MFTWSC10

It is Wednesday, so it is time for another Wednesday Stamp Club challenge. I wasn't sure about this sketch, but once I started working on it, I FELL in love!! SO CUTE!!

I started by stamping my image from the new One Sweet Chick Pure Innocence set on an X-Press It Blending Card. I then colored it with my Copics. Instead of ribbon, I added a strip of grass cut out of some old MFT felt using the Fresh Cut Grass Die-namic. My cardstock is Sno Cone, Celery, and Crushed Curry. My DP is from the Cosmo Cricket Early Bird collection. My ribbon is from MFT, as well as my twine. I used the Button Quartet Die-namic for my buttons, both inside and out, and the Dainty Dots Border Die-namic, as well.

For the inside, I used more of the same supplies, and another saying from this new set.

Well, that is it for me for now. Be sure to head off to Kim's Blog to get all the details for this week's challenge, and to see a list of all the designer's participating today.
Thanks for stopping by!!

March Creative Challenge-Die-namics Home Decor

Hey everyone, and welcome to this month's Creative Challenge from My Favorite Things. This month, Joanne has challenged us to make a home decor item using some of our WONDERFUL Die-namics.....I almost died when I saw it. You all know by now, that I don't "do" altered items, so I knew this was going to be hard. In fact, I think I told Joanne(numerous times) that she was trying to kill me, and I MAY have said something about getting an ulcer...so what, I'm a drama queen. Sue me!!! LOL!!

My project DID not kill me, and in fact, I actually kinda like what I made!! I started by getting a frame out of my stash....it's one I found on sale at Kohl's for 80% off...what a deal!! I then covered the back with some Garden Variety paper from Cosmo Cricket. I then added a strip of SU ribbon down the center. My main image is the super cute, Oh Baby à la mode, which I stamped on an X-Press It Blending Card, and then colored with my Copics. It was layered with Crushed Curry and Red Hot.

My sentiment is from the Clearly Sentimental About Parenting set, which I LOVE. I cut it out using the Polka Dot Frame Die-namics, and then hand cut a Red Hot layer around it. To add some interest to the frame, I used the Heart's a Plenty Die-namic, and Button Quartet Die-namic. I cut SEVERAL different pieces of the Garden Variety paper and the card stock colors mentioned above. I added some twine to the buttons, too.

Well, that is it for me for now!! Thanks for stopping by and be sure to head to Kim's Blog to see a list of the other designers participating in today's challenge.

TSG97- Getting Krafty....

This week's There She Goes challenge is being hosted by one of my FAVORITE people EVA!! Jodi is this week's challenge hostess, and she has challenged us to use Kraft on our cards.

To be eligible for the giveaway, you are to create a card that incorporates Kraft card stock, and then come back to the TSG Blog to add your name and a link to your project in the InLinkz that is located at the bottom of this challenge post. This challenge is open until the winner has been announced on the following Monday (Mar 14th). The winner will get a $5 gift certificate to use in the TSG Web store!

By participating in this challenge, you may also find yourself in the Trendsetting Spotlight that shines on the TSG Blog every Thursday. We will be on the look out to find challenge cards that stand out and show Trendsetting qualities. TSG stamps are not required to participate in the challenges but are appreciated :)

You do not need to have a blog to be able to participate in the TSG Challenges! You can simply add the URL link from your project after it has been uploaded to your online craft gallery. If you upload your card to an online craft gallery, please use the keyword TSG97 so we can check out your beautiful work!

For my card, I started by stamping my bunny from the Good Times set on an X-Press It Blending Card. I then colored most of it with my Copics, and paper pieced her dress with some Basic Grey Nook and Pantry paper. My ribbon is from MFT, and my brads are from Michael's. I used Groovy Guava, Tangerine Tango, and Fossil card stock(MFT). I used the Open Scalloped Die-namics from MFT, as well. My sketch is this past week's Sweet Stop sketch challenge.
Well, that is it for me for now!! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Kiss Me SFYTT

I am up in the mountains stamping with my girlies, and I decided to play along with Jen's Sketch For You To Try. I just LOVE her monthly sketches...although, I do miss them being weekly. I can't imagine how much work they are to keep up on, so I don't really blame her for her new format, I'm just happy she still has them!!

I started by stamping my Wishing You Luck à la mode on an X-Press It Blending Card, and then colored her with my Copics. My DP is from the Basic Grey Origins pack. I paired it with Jelly Bean Green, Banana Split, and Celery. My ribbon is from MFT, and my brads are from Michael's.

For the inside, I used more of the same supplies on the inside, and a sentiment from another à la mode set-It Must Be Love.
Well, that is it for me for now!! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!

If you aren't familiar with the Forgotten Stamp Friday challenge, it's a challenge I pose to myself, and all my friends and readers to make a card or project using a stamp that hasn't been used or has been owned and NOT used for at least six months. You don't have to post ON Friday to play along, so don't worry about that, just have fun, and be sure to leave a link so I can jump around and see what you have been up to!! Don't forget to use the keyword FSF13 when uploading to your online gallery!!

For this week's challenge, I pulled out an old There She Goes set, which is actually on sale right now, BONUS....called Hunny Bunnies. My ribbon is from SU, brads are from Michael's and my spiral clip is from Creative Express. I used the new Upsy Daisy Die-namic, as well as the Notebook Edge Die-namic on the front of my card.

For the inside, I used more of the same supplies, and the new Sweet Stack Die-namic to create my sentiment panel. I am LOVING this month's dies!!

Minion For Hire....

Today is the EVER fabulous, and oh so AWESOME, Tammy Hershberger's birthday. In honor of her awesomeness, and birthday, a few friend's of her's have gotten together to celebrate!! Today's hop started at our ring leader, Barbara Anders' blog. If you are here now, you should have come from Danielle Kennedy's blog.

For my card, I used three different sets: two on the outside, one on the inside!! The two I used were Hooga Booga from Stephanie Fizer, and a sentiment from the Who's That Birthday Girl set...I used the Sweet Stack Label Die-namic to cut it out, again...... I paired it with some Sour Apple and Grape Jelly cardstock, and Cosmo Cricket Pixie-licious dp. I also used some MFT ribbon, and some Divine Twine from MFT. The Hooga Booga set is currently in the Bubble Bin...but it was the closest thing to a minion I had...lol.

For the inside, I used a sentiment from the Clearly Sentimental about Birthdays set. I also added a PERSONAL note to Tammy, and I HAD to share. A few days ago, I offered to be Tammy's minion...the offer still stands, Tammy. Anytime you need me, I am always here!! Hope you have a fabulous birthday!!
Well, that is it for me for now!! Thanks for stopping by, and happy hopping! Next stop, Broni Holcombe's blog.
