Crazy 4 Challenges-Silke's Sketch

Hey everyone, happy Saturday!!! It is time for another Crazy 4 Challenges, this month's hostess is Silke Ledlow, and today she has a FABULOUS sketch for us to play with!!

If you would like to play along with us, all you have to do is create a card/project, and upload it to your blog and/or to your SCS Gallery using the keyword C4C77. Don't forget to come back here and link it on Mr Linky so that everyone else can see it too.

For my card, I used the new Under The Weather set released by There She Goes.
I am SO happy that Jessica got Melyssa Connolly to illustrate for us...her set is the CUTEST!! I stamped my image on a X-Press It blending card, and then colored it with my Copics. I then layered it with Pink Pirouette, Bermuda Bay, and Orange Fizz. Her coat was paper pieced with some Cosmo Cricket Girl Friday paper. My button is from MFT, as well as my twine. I used two different SU ribbons, Michael's brads, and a creative express spiral clip.

Well, that is it for me for now..thanks for stopping by, and have a GREAT day!! Be sure to check out the rest of the Crazies and see what they have been up to!!

Forgotten Stamp Friday-Week 13

Hey everyone, and welcome to this week's Forgotten Stamp Friday challenge! As you are reading this, I am either packing, already on my way, or in Georgia with some of my FAVORITE people!! Mercy Kerin, Jessica Diedrich, and Pam Varnell...I'm so READY to see you!!

If you aren't familiar with the Forgotten Stamp Friday challenge, it's a challenge I pose to myself, and all my friends and readers to make a card or project using a stamp that hasn't been used or has been owned and NOT used for at least six months. You don't have to post ON Friday to play along, so don't worry about that, just have fun, and be sure to leave a link so I can jump around and see what you have been up to!! Don't forget to use the keyword FSF13 when uploading to your online gallery!!

For this week's challenge, I pulled out an old There She Goes set, which is actually on sale right now, BONUS....called Hunny Bunnies. I stamped my bunny on a X-Press It Blending Card, and then colored it with my Copics.. I then layered my image with Pink Lemonade, Crushed Curry, and Blue Raspberry. YUM!! The egg was stamped and colored separately, then cut out and added. My ribbon is from MFT, paper is from Basic Grey, and my spiral clip is from Creative Express.
Well, that is it for me for now. Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you decide to play along!!

MFTWSC9- Hang in There

Hey everyone, it is time for another My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club challenge!! Today's sketch is another good one, but I did make it square again...I just NEED MORE ROOM, lol!! I also realized, after making this card, that I have used the same supplies two weeks in a row...lol. What can I say? I like this paper!!

My image is from the Pure Innocence- Boy&Dog Tree Swing. I stamped it on an X-Press It Blending Card, and then colored him with my copics. He, and his layer of Hot Fudge, were cut out using my Circle, and Petite Scalloped Circle Nestabilities. I also used Pacific Point, and Summer Sun card stock. My ribbons are all from SU, brads are from Michael's, and my spiral clips are from Creative Express.
Well, that is it for me for now!! Be sure to head on over to Kim's blog for a look at the other designers participating in the challenge today!! Thanks for stopping by!!

Tonight, it is my job to show you the new Pure Innocence set, One Sweet Chick. She is SUPER cute, and SO MUCH FUN to play with!! This set sells for $9. I decided to paper piece her dress with some Cosmo Cricket Togetherness paper, but the rest of her was colored with my Copics. I just now started using the new X-Press It Blending Cards, and I am SOLD....so awesome!! She was layered with Crushed Curry and Ruby Red. My ribbon is from SU, brads are from Michael's and my spiral clip is from Creative Express. I used the new Upsy Daisy Die-namic, as well as the Notebook Edge Die-namic on the front of my card.

For the inside, I used more of the same supplies, and the new Sweet Stack Die-namic to create my sentiment panel. I am LOVING this month's dies!!

Well, that is it for me for now!! You've got places to go, people to see, and cards to OOGLE!! Have fun!! Next stop...the ever fabulous, and hilariously witty, Michele Boyer!!

Minion For Hire....

Today is the EVER fabulous, and oh so AWESOME, Tammy Hershberger's birthday. In honor of her awesomeness, and birthday, a few friend's of her's have gotten together to celebrate!! Today's hop started at our ring leader, Barbara Anders' blog. If you are here now, you should have come from Danielle Kennedy's blog.

For my card, I used three different sets: two on the outside, one on the inside!! The two I used were Hooga Booga from Stephanie Fizer, and a sentiment from the Who's That Birthday Girl set...I used the Sweet Stack Label Die-namic to cut it out, again...... I paired it with some Sour Apple and Grape Jelly cardstock, and Cosmo Cricket Pixie-licious dp. I also used some MFT ribbon, and some Divine Twine from MFT. The Hooga Booga set is currently in the Bubble Bin...but it was the closest thing to a minion I had...lol.

For the inside, I used a sentiment from the Clearly Sentimental about Birthdays set. I also added a PERSONAL note to Tammy, and I HAD to share. A few days ago, I offered to be Tammy's minion...the offer still stands, Tammy. Anytime you need me, I am always here!! Hope you have a fabulous birthday!!
Well, that is it for me for now!! Thanks for stopping by, and happy hopping! Next stop, Broni Holcombe's blog.

For my first card, I used the new Pure Innocence- Warm Fuzzies. It was stamped on an X-Press It Blending card, and then colored with my Copics. I layered her with So Saffron, Celery, and Bashful Blue. I then used the new Dizzy Doily Die-namic to cut out a piece of Delicate Dots DP from SU. All my ribbons are SU, and my brads are from Michaels.

For the inside, I cut one of the images out of some more of my DP, and then used the new Sweet Stack Die-namics to create my sentiment panel. I actually used the top oval panel, the sentiment panel, on the front of my card, as well.

For my second card, I used the new Pure Innocence- Girl Scout....she is gonna be a popular one!! I grew up in a "girl scout" family, so the organization is near and dear to my heart. It brought my family together when I was a child, and kept us close, while we had some amazing adventures. I attended GS camp with BOTH my parents, and ALL my siblings every summer, even my poor brother. LOL!! He was our camp mascot...and with his super dark tan, bleach blond hair, and WINNING smile...he was a favorite of ALL the girls at camp, young and old...of course, he still is. :) I used some Echo Park Life Is Good pp, paired with Celery and Wasabi card stock. My image was stamped on an X-Press It Blending card, and then colored with my Copics. I used some SU ribbons, and the Oval Chain Die-namic for my border.

On the inside, I used more of the same, and a saying from the founder of the girl scouts, as well.

I know NONE of you are surprised that I chose to work with the new Fred Bear Oopsie Daisy. I started by stamping him on an X-Press It Blending Card, and then I colored him with my Copics. He was layered with Saffron, Red Hot and Sour Apple. I used some Imaginesce Twitterpated DP, as well. My ribbons are from SU and Michael's. The Die-namics used on the card are the Open Scalloped Die-namic, and the SUPER CUTE new Oopsie Daisy Die-namic. It comes as three parts, and is AWESOME!! I loved creating this flower, and I am NOT a flower person.

For the inside, I used all the same products, but I HAD to use the rest of the sentiment from above, and another from the set. I LOVE the "every single time", it totally sounds like something I would actually say to someone!!
