Hopping With My Favorite Things...

Happy Tuesday everyone, and welcome to this month's new release blog hop with My Favorite Things. Tonight's hop started at Kim's blog, so if you didn't start there, better head back!! If you are here now, you should have come from my girl, Jodi's FABULOUS blog!!

Tonight, it is my job to show you the new Pure Innocence set, One Sweet Chick. She is SUPER cute, and SO MUCH FUN to play with!! This set sells for $9. I decided to paper piece her dress with some Cosmo Cricket Togetherness paper, but the rest of her was colored with my Copics. I just now started using the new X-Press It Blending Cards, and I am SOLD....so awesome!! She was layered with Crushed Curry and Ruby Red. My ribbon is from SU, brads are from Michael's and my spiral clip is from Creative Express. I used the new Upsy Daisy Die-namic, as well as the Notebook Edge Die-namic on the front of my card.

For the inside, I used more of the same supplies, and the new Sweet Stack Die-namic to create my sentiment panel. I am LOVING this month's dies!!

Well, that is it for me for now!! You've got places to go, people to see, and cards to OOGLE!! Have fun!! Next stop...the ever fabulous, and hilariously witty, Michele Boyer!!

Minion For Hire....

Today is the EVER fabulous, and oh so AWESOME, Tammy Hershberger's birthday. In honor of her awesomeness, and birthday, a few friend's of her's have gotten together to celebrate!! Today's hop started at our ring leader, Barbara Anders' blog. If you are here now, you should have come from Danielle Kennedy's blog.

For my card, I used three different sets: two on the outside, one on the inside!! The two I used were Hooga Booga from Stephanie Fizer, and a sentiment from the Who's That Birthday Girl set...I used the Sweet Stack Label Die-namic to cut it out, again...... I paired it with some Sour Apple and Grape Jelly cardstock, and Cosmo Cricket Pixie-licious dp. I also used some MFT ribbon, and some Divine Twine from MFT. The Hooga Booga set is currently in the Bubble Bin...but it was the closest thing to a minion I had...lol.

For the inside, I used a sentiment from the Clearly Sentimental about Birthdays set. I also added a PERSONAL note to Tammy, and I HAD to share. A few days ago, I offered to be Tammy's minion...the offer still stands, Tammy. Anytime you need me, I am always here!! Hope you have a fabulous birthday!!
Well, that is it for me for now!! Thanks for stopping by, and happy hopping! Next stop, Broni Holcombe's blog.

For my first card, I used the new Pure Innocence- Warm Fuzzies. It was stamped on an X-Press It Blending card, and then colored with my Copics. I layered her with So Saffron, Celery, and Bashful Blue. I then used the new Dizzy Doily Die-namic to cut out a piece of Delicate Dots DP from SU. All my ribbons are SU, and my brads are from Michaels.

For the inside, I cut one of the images out of some more of my DP, and then used the new Sweet Stack Die-namics to create my sentiment panel. I actually used the top oval panel, the sentiment panel, on the front of my card, as well.

For my second card, I used the new Pure Innocence- Girl Scout....she is gonna be a popular one!! I grew up in a "girl scout" family, so the organization is near and dear to my heart. It brought my family together when I was a child, and kept us close, while we had some amazing adventures. I attended GS camp with BOTH my parents, and ALL my siblings every summer, even my poor brother. LOL!! He was our camp mascot...and with his super dark tan, bleach blond hair, and WINNING smile...he was a favorite of ALL the girls at camp, young and old...of course, he still is. :) I used some Echo Park Life Is Good pp, paired with Celery and Wasabi card stock. My image was stamped on an X-Press It Blending card, and then colored with my Copics. I used some SU ribbons, and the Oval Chain Die-namic for my border.

On the inside, I used more of the same, and a saying from the founder of the girl scouts, as well.

I know NONE of you are surprised that I chose to work with the new Fred Bear Oopsie Daisy. I started by stamping him on an X-Press It Blending Card, and then I colored him with my Copics. He was layered with Saffron, Red Hot and Sour Apple. I used some Imaginesce Twitterpated DP, as well. My ribbons are from SU and Michael's. The Die-namics used on the card are the Open Scalloped Die-namic, and the SUPER CUTE new Oopsie Daisy Die-namic. It comes as three parts, and is AWESOME!! I loved creating this flower, and I am NOT a flower person.

For the inside, I used all the same products, but I HAD to use the rest of the sentiment from above, and another from the set. I LOVE the "every single time", it totally sounds like something I would actually say to someone!!

Forgotten Stamp Friday-Week 12

Hey everyone, and welcome to this week's Forgotten Stamp Friday challenge! I am starting to REALLY look forward to this challenge every week...I'm having so fun rediscovering forgotten stamps!!
If you aren't familiar with the Forgotten Stamp Friday challenge, it's a challenge I pose to myself, and all my friends and readers to make a card or project using a stamp that hasn't been used or has been owned and NOT used for at least six months. You don't have to post ON Friday to play along, so don't worry about that, just have fun, and be sure to leave a link so I can jump around and see what you have been up to!! Don't forget to use the keyword FSF12 when uploading to your online gallery!!

This week's forgotten stamp is from the Whipper Snapper Designs set, Little Critters. It is a CRYING SHAME, but I have had this set since it's release...and never, ever, ever used it. I HAVE to stop doing that!!! I used the My Mind's Eye Fine and Dandy pack of paper, and paired it with Orange Fizz, Sno Cone, and Hot Fudge card stock. My ribbons are from SU, and my brads are from Michael's. I stamped my image on a X-Press It Blending Card, and then colored it with my Copics.
Well, that is it for me for now. Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you decide to play along!!

For my card, I used Pink Lemonade(MFT) and Close to Cocoa card stock. I paired it with some Echo Park Life is Good DP. I used MFT plaid ribbon, Michael's brads, and a Creative Express spiral clip.

“Good Times”

Time is precious to all of us, and Torico has illustrated a new set that showcases that fact! Her sweet and “time”less spring critters will not only have you using your time wisely, but they’ll also be bringing endless smiles to your faces.

A winner will be chosen randomly using a random number generator to receive their very own “In All the World” or "Sentimental Birthday" stamp set. The winner will be announced Saturday (Feb 26th) during the Release Party Chat.

Tonight's hop started at the There She Goes blog. If you are here now, you should have come from one of my FAVORITE people's blog, our fearless leader, Jessica.

For both my cards today, I used the same paper's and card stock, I just changed up the embellishments. I had so much fun with this set, and it works so PERFECT with the Cosmo Cricket Togetherness collection. I paired it with Wild Cherry, Baja Breeze, and So Saffron. For my sketch, I used a past Sweet Sunday Sketch challenge. All my ribbons are from SU, my brads are from Michael's, and my spiral clip is from Creative Express. For my sentiment, I used the SU modern label punch, but I wanted another layer, so I hand cut one out just a little bigger.

For my next card, I replaced the So Saffron card stock with Fossil. I used different ribbons, but they are still from SU, and my buttons are from Basic Grey. I added some linen thread to them...fun, right?! I have a REALLY hard time using just a sentiment on a card, so I added images from the new In All The World set. When I get a card from my grandma, she always underlines the words she deems important in the card, so I decided to do that, too. My sketch is from this week's Sweet Stop sketch...but I forgot about the Spring twist...so it doesn't exactly count. Oh well!!
Well, that is it for me for now!! Next stop on the hop is my FABULOUS friend, Jodi!! Have fun!!
