Have A Fairy Good Day!!

I was sick last week during the There She Goes release, so this is my first time playing with this SUPER cute new Fairy Good Day set! It is one of my new FAVORITE sets from There She Goes and is perfect for anyone with little girls!! I decided to play catch up and use Mercy's sketch from last week for my card. I stamped the little fairy twice on an MFT Perfect Panel.
I colored the wings on one and the body on the other with my Copics. I then cut out the body and layered it on top of the colored wings to give it some depth. The DSP is from the retired Bella Rose Pack and the cardstock is Riding Hood Red and Pink Pirouette. Well, that is it for me now!! Thanks for stopping by!! Be sure to check out the new There She Goes blog as well, it is FABULOUS!!

It's Time Again!!

Hey everyone, and welcome to this month's My Favorite Things Blog Hop!! This month's hop is going to be FABULOUS because we have 5 GORGEOUS sets being released that are TO DIE FOR!! Tonight's hop started at the fabulous Kim's Blog, so if you are just now getting here, you need to go back there to get started!! If you are back now, you should have come from Jody's blog where I am sure she has WOWED you with her enormous amount of talent!!
We are doing things a little different this month to keep things interesting!! For starters, from now on the person giving away BLOG CANDY is a mystery, so be sure to leave a comment on each of the hop posts to be eligible to win!! Second, instead of each and every one of us giving you ALL the details about the goings on at MFT, we have divided them up. My info this month is on the HOOK UP, and trust me, Kim REALLY IS hooking you up!! Here is the info you need!!

Hook up: Spend $75 on the MFT site between 9/2-9/4 and receive $25 in discount codes toward future purchases!

Sweet huh!! Okay, no onto my project!! For this month's hop, I decided to use the new Ghoulish Label set. I love the jars that Kim carries and the perfect little label sets that go along with them.
I couldn't find any Halloween candy yet, so I chose to use a trick I learned a long time ago from a friend. I took a sheet of Avery Address Labels and stamped the spider and skull and bones all over it in Memento Tuxedo Black. I then added the Grub sentiment with Pumpkin Pie ink. You then take the label and wrap it around a Hershey's Nugget and viola!! Instant Halloween candy!! For my jar, I used some Creepy Crawly DSP from SU. I added some ribbon from the new MFT Halloween Ribbon Bundle around the belly band and then put my label on top of that. For my label, I used an MFT Perfect Panel and stamped my frame, spiders and Sentiment. I hand drew in the webs holding the spiders on, and then added Black glitter dots to their centers. I also sponged the edges with Pumpkin Pie ink to soften them up. The ribbon around the lid is from SU. To go along with my jar, I made a 3x3 note card so I will be able to give this as a gift.
Well, that is it for me now!! The next stop on the hop is Cindy's Blog!! Thanks for stopping by and have a great time on the hop!!

Oh Boy....

This card KICKED MY BUTT!! Seriously, I am still not happy with it, and I am posting it anyway because when you spend THREE HOURS working on a CASE, people need to see why!!LOL!!
This is my card for this week's Featured Stamper challenge. This week's Featured Stamper is Darlene(akronstamperdpk). She has a fun filled gallery, and I chose this card to CASE. For my card, I used the new My Favorite Things set, Plant a Seed of Love. I started by stamping my image on an MFT Perfect Panel, then I colored it in with my Copics.
The cardstock colors are Rich Razzleberry, Kiwi Kiss, and Creamy Carmel. I used some retired SU DSP, but the name escapes me...sorry. My ribbon is from SU, as well as the brads, but the spiral clips are not. I messed up my sentiment, so I punched one out with my scalloped oval and put it over it...yep, I hate it but it is what it is!!
So it isn't the worst thing I have ever made, but it CERTAINLY is not what I expected and DOES NOT do this gorgeous new image justice!!

Before I went into my migraine funk, I made a card for last week's Featured Stamper challenge. Last week's Featured Stamper was my fellow Trend Setter, Joanne(jojot).
I chose this card of hers. For my bee's, I used the Whipper Snapper set, Little Critters. The DP is from the Imaginisce Twitterpated line. I used my SU Oval punch for the main images which were colored with my Copics. The border punch is from SU, and I added some silver brads along the edge. The colors are So Saffron, Certainly Celery and Real Red. The ribbons are from SU, and the spiral clips are from Joanne's. I added some glitter with my Sakura Stardust glitter pen to their wings.
Well, that is it for me now!! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!

FINALLY, I'm BACK!!

Hello everyone!! Earlier this week I came down with the worst migraine I have ever had. I was so sick from it, I could barely open my eyes or sit up. I spent three days in bed and could only check my email if I wore sunglasses in my dark bedroom. It was AWFUL. I also didn't eat for almost two days due to the nausea, so I got pretty weak. I am just now getting back to stamping and I am WAY behind. I missed it, but I am having the hardest time getting my mojo back. Since this month's My Favorite Things teasers started today, I thought I better start there...good idea huh!
I decided to do this week's MFT sketch using the soon to be released Coffee? Tea? set. I stamped my image on an MFT Perfect Panel and some Cottage Wall DSP from SU. I then paper pieced the dress and colored the rest with Copics. My cardstock is Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry and Orchid Opulence. All the DP is from SU, and the accessories are from SU as well except the spiral clips.

For more info on this week's sketch, check out this thread here!! I will be back tomorrow with another teaser or two!! Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Birthday Jacque!!

Hey everyone, welcome to Jacque's Birthday Blog Hop!! The hop started at Frances' blog, so be sure to go back there if you are just getting started here. My girl Jacque is amazing, as a friend and a fellow DT member. She is so cute, and spunky and FUN!! Around these parts, she is referred to as the officer...cause she tries to keep us in line..but seriously, she is usually the one that shoves us out of line, lol! I still love you though sister!!

By now, you have picked up on the whole TWILIGHT theme...cause we Pretties are obsessed with our werewolves and vampires...me, I am partial to a werewolf, one very hot but very young, lol, werewolf!

So Jacque, I hope you don't mine but I brought my friend Jacob to the party!! One word ladies...YUMMO!!

Anywho, since we were going for the Twilight theme, we chose to use a Red, Black, and White color scheme...I hope you LOVE it Jacque!! I used my FAVORITE Sophia Image, Cuddle Up and colored he with my Copics. I then colored her bear with my Sakura Stardust Glitter pen and added an E to his belly, so he is now her Edward teddy bear!! I bet Jacque already has one, but I made her another, teeheee!! All my accessories, papers, and supplies came from SU, and my sketch is one of the Mojo Sketches from this past week.

Well, that is it for me now!! The next stop on the hop is Christi, so be sure to check her out now!! Happy Birthday again girlie!! Here is the hop order in case you get lost!!

Take Time To Enjoy...

I love this new set from Paper Pretties called Everyday Picnic. It is so fun to color, and I LOVE the sentiments that come with it. I made this card for the Paper Pretties Stamping In Your Jammies release party.

The challenge was to use only buttons for an embellishment....you all know me, this was TOUGH!! I was a good girl though, and not only played in the challenge, but I completely followed the rules....I even used paper to go through my button holes so they wouldn't be naked!!LOL!! My DP is from the Bella Rose Pack, and all my CS(Kiwi Kiss and Riding Hood Red) and my corduroy buttons are from SU as well. The image was stamped on Gina K. White, and then colored with Copics. Thanks goodness piercing was allowed, or I would have cried!!
Well, that is it for me now!! Thanks for stopping by!!
