Prettie Weekly Challenge
I am starting to come down with some sort of cold, so I am going to TRY to keep this brief!!
This is a card that I made for this week's Prettie Weekly Challenge. Each week, Danielle(dlounds), posts a challenge in the Paper Pretties Challenge forum. This week's was a sketch, which we all know that I LOVE!! I used my favorite Paper Pretties set, Flirty Fortunes. I paper pieced the take out container with some retired Haiku DSP from SU. I paired it with So Saffron, Tangerine Tango, and Old Olive. The brads and ribbon are both from SU. My circles were cut with my Cuttlebug and Circle Nesties. Well, that is it for me now..thanks for looking!!

It's Jana's Birthday!!
Today is Jana's birthday so the Prettie Girls are having a hop around the blog(s), hehe!! Happy Birthday Jana, we LOVE you!! The hop started at Christie's Blog, so be sure to go there first and then continue on from here....since it is also Prettie Wednesday, I decided to combine the two!! In all actuallity, I forgot....I have been having some SEVERE memory issues this past month, and I sure hope it get's better soon. I am not anywhere near my stamping supplies to be able to make a new card, so Jana, I love you and I PROMISE I will make you a new one ASAP!!
So anyway, two weeks ago, Charmaine challenged the Prettie Girls to make a card using BRIGHT colors...personally, I don't think you can get much brighter than Pacific Point.
It is SO in your face, but it has REALLY grown on me. For my card, I used Taylor's Cupcake Sketch from this weekend for my layout. My main image, Beach Bum Cooper, was stamped on Gina K. White with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored him in with my Copics and layered him with my card colors. All the DP and embellishments are from SU. The DP is part of the Good Morning Sunshine DSP pack.
Don't forget to check out the Prettie's store! On top of the newest stamps that were released, Christie now has Shimmerz and Blingz and Copics, OH MY!! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!! Check out the other girls to see what they have been up to!! The next stop on the birthday hop is Jackie Pedro !!!

A Girl Wants to HOP!!
Hi, and welcome to this month's My Favorite Things mid month blog hop!! If you are just now finding the hop, better head back to Kim's blog to get started!!
Okay, you back?? GOOD!! If you are reading this, then the newest BC Dzyns set along with new artist, Amanda Baird's set, are now available at the MFT store along with SEVERAL new products!! For my card, I used Jen del Muro's Sketch from this past weekend to make my card. The squares were punched with my SU square punches. The DP is from the SU Slumber Party DSP. I paired it with Riding Hood Red, So Saffron and Baja Breeze. The spiral clips are from my local craft store, and all the ribbons are from SU. On the DP squares, I added some paper pieced purses from the set. I didn't cut out their handles, cause that would have killed me, LOL..so I used my white gel pen to fill in the handles...works for me!!

There She Goes Color Challenge
Holly has posted the first ever There She Goes color challenge over at Paper Craft Planet. The combo we were to use is Lovely Lilac, Apricot Appeal, and Certainly Celery.
I also used the Mojo Monday sketch from last Monday. I stamped my cupcake from the Cupcake Mix and Match set on GinaK. White paper with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I then colored it in with my Copics. The DP's are all retired SU prints. I added some SU ribbons, a spiral clip, and some SU brads. The sentiment panel was made using my SU cirlce punches. Not my first choice on colors, but it is cute!! Thanks so much for stopping by...have a great day!!

Little Paper Shop Monday Challenge
It's Monday, so it is time for another Little Paper Shop challenge. I saw the challenge posted on my pal, Jessica's blog, so I decided to go ahead and play tonight!! For my card, I used one of the new digital images, Little Friend . She was printed on Gina K. White paper and then I colored her in with my Copic markers.
This week's challenge was to make a card using So Saffron, Perfect Plum and Certainly Celery. I used Laurie's Weekend Sketch Challenge for the layout. The DP's are both from SU...one is from the retired Celery Prints DSP and the other is part of the Slumber Party DSP. I cut my image out with my Cuttlebug and Circle Nesties. The ribbons and brads are all from SU, but the clips were bought at a local stamp store. My sentiment is from the LPS set, Take Time. Well since this is my second post of the day, I am gonna quit while I am ahead!! Thanks for stopping by!!

It's That Time Again...
It is time for the My Favorite Things mid-month release, and along with a new BC Dzyns set, Kim is introducing a new artist, Amanda Baird. Amanda's first set, part of the MFT presents line, is called What a Girl Wants, and it is so CUTE!! This set, along with the BCDzyns set, will be released at midnight EST Wednesday. We will also be having our blog hop starting at the time too, so be sure to check out Kim's blog to get started!!
For my card, I used the main image from the set along with a couple of the sentiments. I colored my scene in with my Copic markers and added the lines to the sidewalk with a ruler and black marker. To make her dress sparkly, I added Dazzling Diamonds glitter using a glue pen. The Dp is from Stampin Up, along with the ribbon. The flowers are from Michael's and were colored with my Copic markers. I then added a glitter dot to the center of the flowers. The brads are from American Crafts. That is it for me now, thanks for looking and have a great day!!

Happy Easter Everyone!!
Yesterday, I decided to make little Easter Treat Baskets for my nieces instead of buying them like I normally do. They aren't as fancy as what I am used to doing, but I think they are WAY cuter and WAY more heartfelt!! To start, I used one of the SUPAH cute new Die Cuts that I got from my friend Jody(texasjodylynn).
She has a TON of super cute die cuts for sale that you can order in any color that she has listed as available. For my projects, I used Taken With Teal and Regal Rose. Since I didn't have the actual die cuts in these colors, or enough for all seven of my girls, I used her original Tote Bag(it is the second die cut listed on the page) die cut as a template. Let me tell you, that was NOT the easiest way to go...next time, I plan ahead!!! I used my Spots and Dots jumbo wheel from SU to cover the bag die cuts in Versamark. I then assembled the boxes using some red line sticky tape that I also got from Jody. It is JUST as good as what you get from SU or the craft store, but seriously the roll is HUGE!! For my images, I used the Verve Stamps set Chocolate Bunnies. I stamped the Bunnies on Gina K. White and then colored them in with my Copic markers. The sentiments were stamped the same way and then punched out with my SU oval punches. I then filled the boxes with lotsa chocolate!! The ribbon came from my pal Julie, and is from May Arts!!

My next project is a redo of this card from a couple of weeks ago. My stepmom saw it and LOVED it, so I made one for her to give to her grandson Aiden. It is his first Easter, so it needed to be special. The DP is from the Delicate Dots DSP and from the retired Prints Pack from SU
. I paired it with Bashful Blue and Brilliant Blue....I know, I was shocked too, LOL!! The image is from The Little Paper Shop and is one of their super cute and SUPER affordable digital stamps. I colored what little bit I had to color with my Copics and then popped up the egg and hands. I had someone ask me how I could paper piece a digital image. What I do is cut a piece of the DP just a little bigger than the space you want to die cut. I then attach it to a piece of typing paper exactly where the image will be printing out. I then run it through my printer and viola, it is paper pieced(well, after you cut it out, but ya know what I mean!)!! The ribbons are from SU, and the spiral clip was sent to me by my pal Jackie. It was bought at her local stamp store, I think. That is where I get all of mine too, just in case you are wondering!! The sentiment is from the Blessings set from LPS. Well, that is it for me now!! Hope you all have a fabulous Easter!!

Always Late...
I am always late playing in Danielle's weekly challenges in the Paper Pretties forum, but seriously...this sketch ROCKS!! Although she has already posted the new challenge, I still wanted to participate in this sketch cause I love it so much!!
The DP is from the SU Walk in the Park pack. I paired it with Baja Breeze, Kiwi Kiss and Cameo Coral. The image is Hippety Hoppity Sophia from Paper Pretties, and she was stamped on Gina K. white with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored in with my Copics. All the ribbons are from SU, along with the corduroy brads. I used my Cuttlebug and Circle Nesties to cut out the circles for the back panels(it is actually the largest circle cut in half). Well, that is it for me now!! Be sure to check out Danielle's new challenge...which I am SURE to be late for, LOL!!

That is one BIG Egg!!
I have loved this stamp from My Favorite Things since I first saw it, so I wanted to use it this year on my Easter cards.
Life has DEFINITELY gotten in the way and I still haven't even got mine mailed out yet, but better late than never right?!! For this car, I used this week's MFT sketch, but I had to flip it to make it work. The image was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and then colored with my Copics. I used the free SAB DSP pack for my DP. All the accessories are from SU, except for the spiral clips. My sentiment was stamped on Gina K. White as well and then punched out with my 1 1/4in punch. I always feel so sorry for that bottom chick...it sure is carrying a heavy load!! Well, that is it for me now, be sure to check out this weeks sketch in the MFT member forum!!
